About: I’ve cared for both dogs and cats, making sure they’re fed, walked, and comfortable while their families are away. I’ve cleaned litter boxes, washed bedding, and kept up with daily routines so pets feel safe and loved. Whether it’s playtime, quiet companionship, or a long walk, I try to give each pet the same attention and care they’d get at home. I’m a teacher with summers off, so my schedule is wide open. I’m available weekdays, weekends, and for last-minute bookings while you’re on vacation or away from home. In the fall, I can do evenings and weekends. I treat every pet like they’re my own. In a client’s home, I follow your routines closely to help your pet feel comfortable and safe. I make sure they have fresh water, regular meals, clean spaces, and plenty of attention. I always double-check doors, gates, and leashes to keep pets secure and never leave them unattended on walks. My goal is to create a calm, safe environment so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands.

“Maria did a great job with buddy! She took such great care of him and followed the instructions we put out for her! Buddy really loved spending time with her. Will definitely use her in the future!”

I truly enjoy spending time with pets and treating them with love and patience as if they were my own♥️ i'm currently working as a teacher during the weekdays 7:30am to 4:30pm i would love to fill out the rest of my time with spending time with pets!! i am fully available weekends as long as i'm not working, i will try to fit into your and your pets schedule. you can tell me what are your pets needs and what they love, i will always try to show up with them happily
“Jenny was great. I was comfortable leaving my senior cat with her and she did a great job keeping my little ball of anxiety happy. She was attentive and went out of her way to keep him entertained, even bringing over extra toys for him! I received pictures from every visit and a thorough update on how he was doing. I was very happy with her and plan to request her sitting again in the future!”

“Hanna did an amazing job checking in on my dog and cat with my last minute check-in request. Followed my instructions to a T and left the house in great shape. They also went above and beyond, taking care of our foster dog esp. with some complicated health stuff/instructions. Great communication. Will rebook again in the future.”

“Andrea was great! She was very attentive to our pet and her updates were detailed. She seht us more messages than she had to and really cared. I would absolutely book her again!”

“Dan is a great sitter. He was punctual, thorough and very informative while posting pics and texting updates while we were gone. We're going to book Dan again this summer. Thanks, Dan!”

About: I’ve had dogs for 15 years, and loved, trained, and raised them from puppy age until the very end. I’ve taken care of friends and family dogs for seven years. I have experience in senior dog care and know how important it is to go at their pace, on their time. I’ll only take on full-day or overnight pets on my days off, which means they will get my undivided attention. Plenty of bathroom breaks, walks, and love. Dogs are allowed on the furniture in my apartment, so just let me know if those aren’t your rules. I live in an apartment with a balcony. There’s plenty of open space in the surrounding area and we’ll go on lots of adventures, as long as it suits your pup! I will always keep your dog on a leash unless you tell me otherwise.
“Rachael is amazing- she is prompt, courteous, communicative, knoweldgable and so sweet with our 11 week old Chocolate Lab. She has taken wonderful care of her, helped her adjust to her crate with lots of extra help that she went out of her way to do. We trust her in our home and would 100% recommend and will use her again. Thank you so much, Rachael :) - Charlie & The Gibbs”

“Charissa gave each of my pups the personalized attention they needed. She kept my high energy pup happy with some fetch and coaxed my shy little one out of her shell for some fresh air, sniff-abouts and TLC. Thank you Charissa!”

About: I have always been the dog lover in my group of friends. Because of this, I have been the go to pet sitter in my group. Through them, they have recommended me to their neighbors, family and friends. I work from 7am-3:30pm Monday through Friday. I do have to go into the office. I am free during the evenings and the weekends with occasional obligations. I like to disclose plans I have so pet parents are aware of what I have going on. I care for pets in my client's home by allowing the pet to warm up to me. I give them space they need so they can acclimate to me and trust me. I also keep notes as to how much each animal eats, when to feed them, if they need medication, etc.
“Emma is an absolutely wonderful pet sitter! She was totally reliable, sent me great updates (including about how much my picky eater ate at each meal), sent loads of pictures every day, and most importantly took perfect care of my dogs. I couldn't dream of a better pet sitter! Hire Emma and put your mind at ease!”

“We met Tara to introduce Tucker to her and give her the keys to the house prior to leaving. It was as if we had known her for years. Tucker is not one to make up to people but he loved her instantly. Tara sent us pictures of him when she was there which was great. We could not be happier with her and hope to be able to have her back next time we are gone. Thank you for having such a caring attitude.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Erie
Danielle was such an amazing help to us for some fairly last minute requests. She was always on time, went above and beyond to help our very anxious dog feel safe while we were away including hand feeding her, gave puppies medications no problem and spent lots of play time with them. She was very communicative and professional from start to end. We would recommend Danielle to anyone and will be booking her again!

Brittany was wonderful to work with. She took her time taking care of our dog and cat. We also received updates and cute pictures everyday while we were on vacation. We were happy that she took the time to walk our dog everyday, and spent some time outside with our cat even though we did not expect her to do either. They were very happy and content boys when we home! Thank you!

Alex is fantastic! She swooped in after we made a last minute request and made us and (most importantly) our dogs feel so comfortable. She’s clearly a huge animal person and has that special combination of caring and competence that’s needed, especially with puppy. She’s a great communicator and sent the best photos. We’ll definitely be working with Alex again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
