About: I’ve had dogs in my family and house since I was born, so taking care of dogs comes naturally to me. Throughout high school, I was known to be the dog walker and watcher of the neighborhood. I would watch dogs for weeks or even just check in once and awhile for a walk. I continue to take care of my own dogs when my parents are away and even on a daily basis. What makes me stand out is that I have a genuine love for animals and I’m very reliable. I also specialize in anxious, hyper and even older dogs. My dog is very anxious and old so I know how to meet their needs. I understand that every dog has a unique personality and routine, so I take the time to make them feel comfortable and well cared for. I’m committed to taking care of whatever a dog needs to feel comfortable. I’m currently out of school for the months of June and July. I have no schedule and I’m free most of the days. I would like to use these days to take care and visit your loved animal. I provide care in my clients home where I can keep a pets routine normal and comfortable. I don’t offer boarding in my own home

Bridgett took excellent care of our furr babies while we were away for a week. This was the longest we have been separated from them and it a great reassurance to have Bridgett care for them. Bridgett was very communicative and observant and spent lots of quality time with our cat and dog. I highly recommend Bridgett for your loved ones.

About: What sets me apart as a pet sitter is my extensive experience and deep compassion for animals. Since 2013, I have had the privilege of pet-sitting for dog trainers, friends, and family, which has given me a solid foundation in understanding a variety of breeds and temperaments. I specialize in providing attentive care to both puppies and senior dogs, ensuring they receive the love and attention they need at every stage of life. Additionally, I've taken in strays and nursed them back to health, demonstrating my commitment to the well-being of all animals. When you choose me as your pet sitter, you're choosing someone who loves your pets as much as you do. Currently, I'm taking time away from work as a County Planner, allowing me to dedicate my full attention to caring for your animals 24/7 with enough notice. This means your pets will receive around-the-clock care and companionship, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and well-cared-for at all times. I provide comprehensive care for pets in both my home and my clients' homes, tailored to meet each pet's unique needs. Whether it's feeding, walking, playing, administering medication, or just providing companionship, I ensure your pets receive the attention and love they deserve. My services are flexible to accommodate your schedule, so feel free to reach out for time and availability—I'm here to make sure your pets are happy and healthy, no matter where they are.

About: I’ve shared a dog with my mom for the past 9 years and have been around dogs my whole life. I’m calm, patient, and truly love caring for all kinds of pups. Friends and family often rely on me to feed, walk, and stay overnight with their pets. I treat every dog like my own and make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. I am a part time student remotely at UCCS so your pet is my biggest concern! I am extremely flexible and can do drop byes or I can stay overnight whatever fits your needs. I care for each pet based on their individual needs and personality. Whether that means cuddling on the couch, playing fetch, or going for long walks, I want your pet to feel happy, comfortable, and fulfilled. Safety and trust are my top priorities! I always use secure leashes or harnesses on walks, respect your home’s rules, and follow any specific routines you provide.

Claire did an outstanding job taking care of Mochi for two days in a row. She was incredibly professional, responsible, and attentive throughout the entire time. She kept me updated regularly, followed all instructions carefully, and gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that she genuinely cared about Mochi and made sure he was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I would absolutely trust Claire with Mochi again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.

I know how to take care of animals, whether they are babies or older. I prioritize responsibility, genuine love and care and communication. My busiest days are Monday and Fridays, as I work from 8 am to 6:30 pm. However, I only work part time (max being 5 hours) for the rest of the week. About: While my experience caring for pets professionally is limited, I worked in healthcare for a short stint out of high school, delivering medical oxygen supplies to peoples homes, and setting up the equipment for patients. One of my favorite parts of the job was when the patients had pets! Frequently, their pets warmed up to me as soon as I was welcomed in to do my work, which would always brighten up my day. Of course, I have pets myself. I've been caring for my cat, Winslow, for about a year and a half now. He's fantastically affectionate and he's been an excellent companion in my home. I also help my parents with their cats, since I live with them at the moment. As one last note, at my last job I attained a CPR certification from the American Heart Association. Human focused, of course, but I stilled learned the signs of a crisis in living beings and what to do when life hangs in the balance. I hope never to have to use said skills, but if a pet has a delicate health situation, I am equipped to get them the help they need if things take a turn for the worse. I am between jobs at the moment, so my schedule is about as open as it gets. I have my own responsibilities to tend to with my cat, but my parents can take care of him if your furry friend needs me around all day. First things first is a meet and greet to make sure your pet is comfortable around me. Once your pet and I have made each-other's acquaintance, we'll talk about how you usually go about caring for them yourself so we don't throw a wrench in their habits. If you're having me spend time in your home, we'll talk about how you expect me to conduct myself while house sitting.

Emily was absolutely AMAZING with Gracie while we were in Florida visiting family. I truly cannot say enough good things about her. She worked her butt off and went above and beyond every single day to make sure Gracie was happy, cared for, and loved. Leaving your dog behind is never easy—especially when you adore them the way we adore Gracie—but Emily gave us complete peace of mind. She was attentive, responsible, communicative, and so sweet with her. It was clear she genuinely cared. We came home to a happy pup, and that means everything to us. I am so, so grateful for the effort and heart she put into caring for our girl. I would trust her again in a heartbeat!

About: Hi my name is Emmy! If you're looking for a caring, detail oriented, pet care professional - with familiarity with both large and small animals, look no further. I grew up around horses, donkeys, goats, and chickens - along with dogs, cats, and other traditional house pets. My mom is a veterinary behaviorist, so I have a particular soft spot and affinity for animals who are considered to show anxious or aggressive behaviors. I myself have a rescue who's a bit more on the antisocial side, so I understand what it looks like to care for a more high maintenance kiddo inside and outside the home. I have well over 10 years of quote unquote professional pet care experience, working in clinic settings, shelters, and privately as a sitter for family's and farms. I'm fear free certified, meaning I understand the body language and communication signals that animals express and can interact with them on accordance of that information. Which increases safety and rapport for both myself and your animal. I'm available Monday through Friday to do drop in visits, walks, and any other daily care your animal may require while you're away at work. For weekends or for holidays/vacations I would need advanced notice so I can make arrangements for my own pup. Whether you're looking for someone to care for your cat or dog, or someone to maintain and care for your barnyard, you'll always find a warm and helping hand in my neck of the woods! I'm looking to do care for a family who is needing care in a consistent basis. Im available Monday through Friday for drop in visits, walks, and pet care related maintenance. I am happy to do overnight stays at your home for dogs, cats, and barnyard animals with advanced notice. Or would be happy to board your DOG at my apartment if you're comfortable with them staying with my animal at home - also with advanced notice. I live in a quiet apartment in East Longmont, with my boyfriend and dog Faye. It's a great spot for soaking in some cuddles on the couch but is also close to some nice parks and local hikes. I'm happy to care for your animal in your own home or property, and can provide whatever housekeeping or ground maintenance you expect to be done with the job.

About: Hi! My name is Marion. I have always loved dogs, and have one lovely pup of my own, Summit. She is the tan dog in the photos. She is 7 years old, and very dog friendly. She loves to play, but knows boundaries and is happy to cuddle on the couch as well. I have a very large, high-fenced yard that is great for the dogs, and I also walk my dogs 2x daily and take them to the dog park or open space 1-2x per week. I am a runner, so I could gladly run with your dog if you would like. Dogs of all sizes are welcome in my home! I grew up with Great Danes and am very comfortable around big dogs, and my house is very open so there is a lot of room. I look forward to meeting you and your doggos! I am experience with senior and medical pets as well and am comfortable caring for your medically needing fur babies. Behavioral issues or nervous dogs don’t scare me, I have fostered 50+ dogs over the years and am happy to be accommodating. I work from home 90% of the time and am only gone from the home for 2-4 hours at a time to visit my clients. I have a furbo in my home to check in on dogs when I am not at home, and can make my schedule work for someone needing 24/7 observation as long as I have notice. I have multiple spaces in my home if our dogs need to be separated as well.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Firestone stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Firestone choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Firestone with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Firestone. On Rover:

  • 94% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
