“We had to travel across the country for family issues. The local kennels were full. We found Rover and Rebecca on-line. Was a bit nervous that all would go well but is was our only viable option. Everything went great! Rebecca’s service was incredible. It was great leaving our dogs at home and Rebecca doing drop-ins with updates and photos.”

“Aro is such a pup oriented person it was easy to trust them to care for our Charlie Girl. Aro asked l'ostacolo of questions so we knew our pup would be attended to in the way we hoped! And she was!!!”
“Sydney is lovely & took great care of my two cats while I was away for a week. She gave detailed reviews after each visit along with pictures & videos. Grateful to have found a sitter I can trust!”

“Gretchen cat sat three times for us this summer and was fantastic! We have an older cat who takes medicine and Gretchen was able to have him take it every day. She brushed and played with the kitties at each visit. Gretchen was reliable and quick to communicate with us if needed. I absolutely recommend Gretchen as a pet sitter and will definitely use her services again.”

“I am so grateful to have Jessie as my go-to cat sitter. She is quick at responding to messages and has excellent communication and problem solving skills. It is nice knowing that my cats are getting quality attention and stimulation when she goes to visit them. Thank you so much Jessie!”

“Lex was excellent, she took care of Mr Magnificat and kept us up to date on his behavior and wellbeing. She was very responsive and communicative, it was a great experience working with her”

“I didn't end up needing the service, but I also didn't cancel the payment because plans changed last second, and I would like to be able to have this lady at sit for me this week. She was very responsive and polite.”

“Candice exceeded my expectations! This was my first time using Rover and I was pretty nervous at first. Candice helped keep my mind at ease the entire time I was gone. She sent me daily updates and photos. When I returned home, the house was just how I left it and my kitty was very happy! I would HIGHLY recommend booking with Candice. I know I will be using Candice for future trips! Thanks again!”

About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life and have helped take care of them whether that was with my mom, dad, grandparents, friends etc. I have plenty of experience with all stages of life from being a puppy to senior dogs. I am also well versed in basic care like walking, grooming, feeding (including medicine), play, and training. At the moment I work part time on most Thursday's so I will not be available then unless absolutely needed. Other than that I am free to look after your dog whenever. At a clients home typically I would ask the basic routine of their pet, what is off limits for them, how often they would like updates, what to do in case of an emergency, and anything else I or they see fit before arriving. I want to make sure I can be a dependable caretaker for their pets, as well as a trustworthy and respectable guest in their house.
“Sarah was fantastic! My normally shy cat came out for her immediately. Sarah was very communicative and took great care of my Riley. I’ll definitely be reaching out to Sarah again!”

About: As a lifelong animal lover and pet owner, I understand that pets are family. I have experience caring for both dogs and cats, and currently share my home with two dogs and three cats. Whether your pet needs playtime, companionship, walks, feeding, or loving care while you're away, I'll treat them with the same patience, attention, and affection I give my own. My goal is to ensure your furry family member feels safe, happy, and loved every step of the way. Caring for animals isn't just part of my routine, it's my favorite part of every day! My mornings begin with feeding, walks, playtime, and plenty of love for my own pets, while my evenings are filled with treats, cuddles, and quality time. Because caring for animals is already a joyful part of my daily life, your pets will receive the same attention, affection, and care as if they were my own. In my home, pets are family, it's their house, I'm just the maid! In your home, I'll respect your space while showering your furry family members with love and attention.
“Kim is amazing! Couldn’t recommend her enough. She loved our dogs and they loved her. She communicated timely, sent pictures, and went above and beyond to make sure they were well taken care. Very dependable, will definitely continue to have her care for our dogs.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Brighton
Sam was absolutely wonderful with our two older dogs. She was attentive, gentle, and handled their medication without any issues. When some last-minute changes came up and we needed to adjust our schedule and add drop-in visits, she was responsive and completely reliable. Her reports were thorough and full of pictures, and you could tell she genuinely cares about the pets she looks after. We’ll be using her from now on. Highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
