About: I've rasied three golden retreivers (60lb field, 40lb field, 95lb show) and have played godparent to countless other dogs over the years. I love big dogs and hope to one day own a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog or similar. I'm completely comfortable handling big dogs and I have no concerns about so-called problematic breeds. I've raised and fostered energetic puppies (and nursed them through parvo!), cared for some bonkers labs, and I've sat quietly with old friends as they live out their golden days. I have a strong grasp on canine body language and communication, and meeting each dog where they're most comfortable and establishing myself as a trustworthy companion to them is my highest priority. I currently work 10am to 2pm Mondays through Thursdays. I have a completely flexible schedule outside those hours and would love to be able to give your pup some exercise and relief mid afternoons. I am available weekends and mornings as well, especially for clients near the Auraria campus where my day job is. While I am not currently offering sitting in my own home due to having my own cat who isn't a fan, I have no qualms about taking your pooch in my car to go to the dog park or any appointments. I'm happy to spend time with your pet in your home where they're most comfortable, or I can take them out of the home during the day if that is perferable to you. I will gladly clean up any messes the dog causes in the home if I encounter any, be it a potty accident or a trashcan misadventure. Your in-home pet care should come with the expectation that you come home to the same state you left it at the bare minimum.

My experience ranges from assisting veterinarians, volunteer work at animal shelters, working at boarding and daycare facility, and neighborhood pets. I am comfortable with giving medication. If you have an elderly or disabled pet, look no further! Ginger is incredibly compassionate and patient and takes amazing care of our animals. One of our pets that she took care of was an elderly and incontinent chihuahua and Ginger always made us feel secure that she was in good hands. Our other pet is a cat and Ginger is GREAT with cats and gained his love and trust very quickly. We love knowing that we have reliable care for our beloved creatures with Ginger!
