“Jillian was very attentive with our cats. She is adaptable to unexpected situations. She’s good with cats who are shy. Our cats love her, even our shy little one. She’s very responsive and sends lots of updates/pictures. The cats look forward to seeing her . I highly recommend anybody to book Jillian .”

“Saunie was attentive and always made sure our cats were fine. She always made sure that cats had enough food and cleaned the litter. She left notes including how our cats were doing, which we always enjoyed reading. Our cat Luna seems to be making friends with Saunie, which was surprising especially since she's usually a skittish cat. Overall, we will definitely rebook her if we are out of town again!”

About: I've had dogs in my home since I was 8, and have dog sat countless times over the years. My most recent experience was caring for two dogs while my friend was on a two-week vacation. I love being outside, going for walks, the dog park, and snuggles too! I am a full time student at the University of Colorado, so the only commitment I have are my classes that are four hours M-F. I can work around that time to let your pups out mornings, afternoons, evenings, etc. I am available nights, weekdays, weekends, basically anytime that fits into my schedule! I love dogs and getting outside! I am new to the area and I am excited to explore starting with walks and dog parks! I would love to hang out in your home as well if that is what your dog prefers!

About: My name is Taylor, and while i do need some extra income, spending time with dogs is the most ideal way for me. I love all animals and enjoy dogs more than people most likely. I will treat your dog with love and respect and I hope they enjoy me as well so they can be excited if I ever come back to see them again. I'm 31 and I would love to own a dog, but I can barely afford to feed myself so ill have to stick to hanging out with other people's dogs. Dogs are so pure and full of love and joy. There is something about being with a dog out in nature that just makes you think life is wonderful. I have Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays off and I have all those days free to spend time with any pets that need it. Any time those days I'm around. I live alone in a 1 bedroom apartment, but there is a golf course beside me that has a huge walking trail and I'd love to have a dog to walk with. I also can take them to all kinds of trails or parks around.

“Rachel took great care of my two cats and my home while I was away. She made sure they got their meds as needed and kept things tidy. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone with high maintenance pets. Thank you, Rachel!”

About: I am a reliable, attentive, and trustworthy pet and home sitter who will care for your pets and home as if they were my own, ensuring they are safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you are away! I’m a Physician Assistant student at the Anschutz Medical Campus and have the summer off, so I have a pretty flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I love spending time with animals, and caring for pets fits easily into my daily routine through walks, playtime, feedings, and just making sure they feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I make sure pets stay comfortable by sticking closely to their normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications if needed, and giving them plenty of attention and affection. In a client’s home, I always keep the space clean, secure, and calm so pets feel safe and relaxed.
About: Hi! I'm Emily and I LOVE all animals! I work remote so I can be home with your pet as much as you need. I have a 1 year old labradoodle and 2 year old kitty in my home. We have a big fenced in backyard where your pup can run and play. I also have a state park pass and happy to take your dog to Chatfield or Cherry Creek with my dog and me I travel for work but when I’m home I work remote. I am typically home for most of the day when I’m working. There are several parks nearby for walks and I’m close to a dog park too. I have a fenced in yard and a very playful pup to keep your dog company. I will want my dog and yours to meet before agreeing to sit just to make sure everyone gets along
“So glad we found Gisselle. From the moment my dogs met her, they warmed up immediately — which says a lot. She was incredibly responsive to all of our communication and kept us updated the whole time. I've already planned to rebook with her, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring sitter!”

I can provide baths upon request! I also love to walk pups and get them plenty of exercise! I work from home most days. On days I am required to be in the office I have a lot of flexibility with my schedule I always strive to create a safe and trusting environment for pets, such as ensuring hazardous materials or cleaning products are stored and out of your pets reach. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering over the years. I will take care of your four legged friend like i do my own! I am working part time but i have lots of free time to help you with your pet needs. I am available most days of the week. I do not offer services in my home but i am able to do anything you need in yours. I’d love to take your pup to the park for a nice long walk or a fetch session. Whatever your pet needs im happy to do!
About: I grew up in a home with both cats and dogs, so caring for animals has always been second nature to me. I currently have two cats of my own and am very familiar with cat-specific care. I also regularly care for my family members’ dogs, including one with special needs who requires medication twice daily, which I’m comfortable administering. I’m very reliable, especially when it comes to following care instructions. As a master’s student, I typically have about 4 hours of class in the morning. Although my schedule varies from week to week, I have a relatively flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care! The safety, comfort, and happiness of pets are always my top priorities. I make sure to follow all instructions closely and pay close attention to details. I’m also very experienced with escape-prone pets, so I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are always secure to keep every pet safe.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Aurora
I had a great experience with Raymond. Communication was prompt and consistent throughout the entire stay, which gave me peace of mind. He provided regular updates and photos from each visit, and it was clear that my dogs genuinely looked forward to seeing him. Everything went smoothly from start to finish, and I always felt informed about how they were doing. Knowing they were well cared for made being away so much easier. I will absolutely book with him again.

Gregory was very responsive and had great communication starting from the beginning of meeting our dog and through the end of the drop in visits for the weekend! Our dog Lola was in a perfectly fine mood upon our return - would definitely recommend for dog care and will definitely be booking in the future if needed! Thanks, Gregory!

Serena is an absolute gem! She’s incredibly communicative, friendly, and caring. She went above and beyond to understand how to care for my dogs. Not only did she ensure that my dogs were well taken care of, but she also took the time to make sure that my house was in top condition. I highly recommend Serena to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter. You won’t regret booking her!
Brianna was an amazing sitter, while we went on vacation in Hawai’i she came and checked on my fur babies, she even helped with one of puppers escaping. She went above and beyond and ensured my packages were brought in the house without me asking, will definitely use her again.

Victoria is great! She's timely, communicative, and she's actually put in the effort to develop a relationship with our pets (cat + dog). They feel safe and comfortable around her. She has also been nice and flexible enough to work around unexpected situations and just very understanding overall. Would 100% recommend working with her.

Regan did an amazing job caring for my animals! When a potential vet emergency came up (through no fault of hers), she went above and beyond to make sure my pets were safe and well taken care of. I’m so grateful for her dedication and wouldn’t hesitate to trust her again.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Aurora stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Aurora choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Aurora with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Aurora. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
