“Benny had a great time with Tanya and her two dogs. He likes to roughhouse and race around, so the huge, enclosed backyard was a great space for him. Benny and Zuko were thick as thieves from the start, and we got lots of cute photos and videos of them playing together. Thanks for taking such good care of Benny!:)”

“Claudia was exceptional on every level, I am so glad that I found her. She is extremely sweet, responsive, loving, reliable, trustworthy, the list goes on and on. I took my boy Atticus that is a 10 year old husky to her, she cared for him and I could see it in Atticus how happy he was while staying at her place. She communicated with me the entire time and sent me pictures of him which I loved receiving. She is a professional at what she does! I recommend her to anyone that needs a pet sitter, Claudia will forever be my go to girl! Thank you again Claudia for watching over our old boy 💙”

“It's hard to put into words just how wonderful our experience with Charlene was! From the moment we met them, we could tell they had a genuine love for animals, and our dog, Cocoa, clearly felt it, too. They were kind and gentle with him, sending us regular updates and photos showing him happy and relaxed. What truly impressed us, however, was Charlene's incredible understanding and flexibility when our flights home were significantly delayed. They were reassuring and didn't hesitate to extend their care for Cocoa without fuss. This relieved so much stress during a frustrating travel experience, and we are eternally grateful for their willingness to go the extra mile. Knowing Cocoa was in such capable and caring hands allowed us to navigate the travel chaos with much more peace of mind. We came home to a happy and well-cared-for pup, and that's all thanks to Charlene. We highly recommend their services to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate, and genuinely understanding dog sitter. We will absolutely be booking with them again in the future!”

“Norma was so caring for our two large dogs! She has a great yard and doggie door making it super easy for our dogs to feel comfortable. She stayed communicative throughout our booking and sent lots of pictures and videos. I would love to book with her again!”

“Jim & Jerrod were so fantastic at watching my dog! They were responsive and flexible with my last minute booking, very accommodating to a meet and greet and my drop off and pick up schedule, and amazing with Indy. She loved all of the cuddles and getting to play in their big fenced yard. Would definitely ask them to watch Indy again.”

“Noemi was outstanding! I was a little nervous as our recently rescued dog is very timid. Noemi kept her busy with plenty of walk, play and nap time. She also sent multiple pictures or texts each day. Her little dachshund/beagle is clearly used to having sleepovers, so not territorial or jealous about sharing his mom. I especially liked that Noemi only takes one dog (two if they’re siblings) at a time, so less chaotic. We will definitely use Noemi again!!”

“Brittani was great with Toast. When he started to feel sick, Brittani was very communicative and worked hard to get him back to his normal self. We’ll definitely book with them again.”

“If your dog likes playing with other pups, it will be so, so happy here. Our dog is always so happy to come back, and has stayed with Donaji many times. She great with sending pictures and updates - we appreciate her enormously!”

“Cori and her family were awesome to watch my dog overnight when she had never been away from home before. She sent pictures and had great communication. Would not hesitate to book with her again!”

“My dogs immediately went into Maria’s home and felt comfortable. They enjoyed playing with the other dogs and came home happy, healthy, and tired! Will definitely take advantage of Maria’s services again! Thank you so much!”
“I’m always a little nervous leaving my dogs with anyone, especially since I have a 9 month old puppy and a 3 year old Miniature Pinscher. But Katya was amazing. She took such great care of them and kept me updated with regular photos and messages, which really helped ease my mind while we were away for 4 days. Both dogs came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. It was obvious they got plenty of attention and were treated like part of the family, not just watched. I would absolutely book with Katya again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and attentive.”

“Stephanie took amazing care of our dog. He seemed so calm and happy (and tired) when we picked him up. Would definitely request her anytime we are away. Stephanie is very attentive, knowledgeable, has great communication.”

“Mrs. Charlie is truly a gem! I was a little nervous leaving Millie and Mazey while I went out of town, but from the very first message, she put my mind completely at ease. She was warm, professional, and clearly experienced with dogs of all temperaments. Throughout the entire stay, she kept me updated with regular photos, videos, and sweet little notes about how Millie and Mazey were doing. It was obvious they were not only being well cared for, but genuinely loved. When I came home, both dogs were happy, relaxed, and clearly had bonded with her — which says a lot because Millie can be a bit shy with new people. Mrs. Charlie went above and beyond — from making sure their routines were followed to giving them extra playtime and cuddles. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, compassionate, and truly invested in your pets’ happiness and well-being, book Mrs. Charlie. I can’t recommend her highly enough and will absolutely be asking her to watch Millie and Mazey again in the future! Thank you, Mrs. Charlie — you’re the best!”

“Kristina is so wonderful. She made us feel very comfortable with the process and we knew our dogs were in good hands. She even won over our skiddish pup which is truly impressive. She will always be our go to when we need a sitter.”

“Emmanuel was awesome! Communicated daily and my dog just got along great with their sweet but timid puppy. He said they played well which just makes me happy!”

“Jacky and Andrew are the best! One of our dogs is very nervous around new people and he does great with them. They always send pictures and I genuinely feel like they care about our dogs. Would recommend them to anyone!”

“James was a great sitter for our pup! She immediately took to him and settled in quickly. James quickly responded to questions and provided regular updates with photos, which every dog parent loves. We would definitely book with him again.”

Cristina and Ethan were absolutely wonderful to work with and we will be booking with them again! They are friendly, responsive, and took care of Oliver just how we would have! They sent lots of photos of Oliver throughout the weekend that showed him playing, napping, and having a great time. Oliver came back a happy puppy!

Molly is the absolute best and my cats and dog love her so much! She was able to board my dog for just shy of two weeks and check on my cats too! I have never been away from them that long and didn’t have access to my phone on the ship like I thought I would but getting back to so many sweet photos made my heart so happy! I know my babies are in the best hands! 💯 thank you Molly!!

Angelina (and Greg) have watched our two rescue dogs twice now and we couldn’t be more impressed with the level of care that’s provided. They are clearly “dog people” who have a natural understanding of what a dog needs. Our reactive pups quickly grew to love them both and we fully trust they are safe/happy in their care. Angelina does a great job with sending pictures/small updates throughout the day. We will be bringing our dogs back to their home many more times!

Kenzie was awesome! Truly such a dog person. She watched my pup for a couple nights and I was happy to get photo/video updates and could tell how happy our pup was. It was great that she got to play with other dogs all weekend, some great socialization. Thanks Kenzie!

Kim continues to be a very positive and impactful trainer for my dog Sunny! Sunny always come back after a weekend at Kim’s much better behaved and showing visible progress on what they’ve been working on. Specifically, leash training is Sunny’s biggest struggle, but Kim is a pro on teaching heel, right side, wait, and even taught her to stop walking when I stop walking. You and your dog will be in great hands with Kim!

Isabel and her hubby did such a great job of taking care of our two fur babies. Their dog was also a welcoming host and had such a lovely temperament. Our two dogs are very particular about meeting new people, dogs and spaces and they had no problems feeling at home. Our Sight Hound even took over her sofa!!! (Sorry about that:-) Thanks again for making our dogs feel so welcomed.

Jonathan was great with our 15 year old maltipoo! He was attentive and followed our dog’s daily routine. It’s clear that he genuinely loves dogs and he is very well priced and easy to talk to. He sent pictures and updates regularly, which made us feel at ease, especially since we’ve never hired anyone to watch our dog before. We would definitely book him again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
