“I can't recommend Jacquie enough! She is by far the best dog sitter I have had yet :) She went above and beyond while caring for my sweet Meadow and made the entire experience completely stress free. She was incredibly communicative and she sent multiple updates and photos every day so I always knew my baby girl was happy and well cared for. They had so much fun together going on adventures! One of the sweetest surprises was that she sent me a happy birthday message from my dog, complete with a tiny party hat ahhhhhhh it absolutely made my day! It was such a thoughtful, personal touch that showed how much she genuinely cares. I felt so comfortable knowing my sweet Meadow was in such great hands and it's clear she treats every pet like her own. I would 100% book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing, trustworthy, and caring Rover sitter!”

“Amanda is a great dog sitter. She sent us lots of photos and updates about Frappuccino. You can tell she really knows Shih Tzus, and Frappuccino was very happy with her. We would definitely love to hire her again. Thank you so much 😊”

“Margaret made me feel comfortable from the start. She listened to Bardi’s schedule/quirks and made me feel at ease with her relaxed responses. She sent so many pictures and gave regular updates. I felt comfortable the entire time and Bardi had a great time.”

“Jenny was so great with my anxious Millie. She sent photos and updates and made Millie feel comfortable and safe during her stay. She was extremely responsive and helped me out with little turnaround time. Would definitely recommend Jenny and would use her again to care for Millie!”

“Mollie was so great with our dog Hudson! We had a meet and greet before to make sure our pups got along, and during Hudson’s stay, Mollie was super communicative and ensured Hudson was well taken care of!”

“Chloe took wonderful care of Monty during his stay. She provided updates and photos and he had a blast hanging with her dog Nancy. Would definitely book again and recommend for anyone in the area!”

“Oakley had such a great stay with Jessica & Teryn he didn’t want to leave! They took great care of him and he loved playing with their sweet dog Shila. We will definitely book with them again!”

“I had a fantastic experience with this Rover sitter! She was able to watch my dog last minute and even took him for a run, which he absolutely loved. Communication was excellent, and I felt completely at ease knowing my dog was in such caring and capable hands. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and enthusiastic pet sitter!”

“Zachary was great with my dog with a very last minute boarding. He sent a ton of pictures and she was clearly very relaxed and happy with him and his dog. Would definitely use his services again.”

“I cannot say enough about the attentive care that Stephanie provides! She has a gentle and patient way about her and my pup Raha gravitated to her immediately. Stephanie took impeccable care of Raha, was attentive to the instructions I provided, and was amazing at communicating and sharing photos. I will be reaching out to Stephanie first next time I am planning a trip!”

“Kani was a great sitter for my 2 pups! I got frequent thorough updates and a ton of pictures which gave me peace of mind. They all took a ton of walks and got time outside, and were both happy and tired when I picked them up. I’ll definitely be booking with Kani again :)”

“Rudolph had a great time with Neill and his two beagles. It was our first time leaving him with anyone and we felt so relaxed about the meet and greet and his 5 nights away. He provided a daily update and pictures. We will definitely book with him again.”

“Thomas took wonderful care of my energetic pup, Wally and kept me posted on all the fun things he was up to throughout his stay! I felt comfortable leaving him knowing he was in the hands of a true dog lover”

“Emily is so kind and took the best care of my Beau while I was out of town. He had an absolute blast playing with Dale and passed out as soon as we got home. I had a nightmare situation that put me late to pick my dog up from her and she was very understanding of the situation. I would recommend Emily to anyone looking for dog care in Arvada and hope to be able to leave Beau with her and Dale in the future. Thank you Emily!”

“Graham has enjoyed his time with Susan and her two adorable doxens. Susan has been very reliable and Graham comes back tired from all the attention and playtime.”

About: Owned many types of dogs over the years. Have always lived close to a park. Perfect for walking and have experience raising litters of puppies Pet care fits perfectly into my schedule as I am home all day and can fill my day with walking dogs near the lake and provide all needed help! “Oh my goodness if I could give 10 stars I would!!! I was so nervous to leave my puppy for the first time, but I’m a nurse who works night shift. Iuliia could not have been a more perfect host for my baby Phoebe! She played with her, put her to sleep, and sent me sooooo many pictures to put my mind at ease :). I had to stay late at the hospital and she was so understanding. Looking forward to Phoebe’s next stay there!”

“Dana was amazing with my pup Honeybee: she was patient, kind, and full of cuddles! She was great with communication and really went above and beyond for my pup with how attuned she was to my dog’s needs. Additionally, her dog Loki was such a calm and composed gentleman even while mine was in a mood when they met. We could not have asked for a better sitter and a Honeybee didn’t want to leave when it was time for me to pick him up!”

John was great !! He came and picked up our dog and brought her back due to the fact that i was already out of town. His communication was top notch. He let me know she was doing well and comfortable at his place. I am def going to be using John again in the future. Would highly recommend !!

Blu was wonderful. She is a great communicator and responded quickly to texts. She sent lots of pictures and updates on how Bella was doing while we were away. Which gave us great peace of mind as Bella appeared to be happy and comfortable. We would use her again in a heartbeat!

Grady & Tanutra were amazing! They took such great care of our elderly dog, who can sometimes have anxiety, especially in new surroundings. But he settled in very quickly which is a testament to the care and affection they provided. We would absolutely use them again!

Kelli and Larkin were exceptional with my Ruby. They made sure she was safe and happy and treated just like one of the family. I highly recommend anyone looking to have security and peace of mind while they are away to leave their dog with the two of them. You will also get frame worthy photos!

Lucy had the absolute best time with Aaron and Irina! As a first time user of Rover I was little nervous but they were so great about sending us daily pictures, videos and updates which allowed me to have a worry free trip. Plus I could see that Lucy was having a blast playing outside, cuddling up to their dogs and getting lots of pets. Will definitely book them again for future trips!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
