“Nick was the most kind, best rover you could ask for! We were so worried taking our pups for the first time but he always checked in with us. His home is beautiful and our doxies enjoyed the company of 4 other doxies and a mini poodle!! It was wonderful and they had the most fun. Would definitely come back!!! :)”

“I had such a wonderful experience with Jordyn! She was incredibly communicative throughout the stay and sent so many photos and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind. Coconut had the best time playing with her sweet dog, Remy. It was clear Coconut felt comfortable, happy, and well cared for the entire time. I would absolutely book with Jordyn again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and attentive sitter!”

“Chad was absolutely amazing with my babygirl Pluto! I needed a last minute sitter as mine had fallen through and Chad got back to me promptly and alleviated so much stress with his flexibility and wonderful care. He was conscientious of Pluto's anxious senior dog quirks, sent adorable pictures, and at the end of her stay, I got to pick up a very happy dog. Looking forward to using his services again in the future!”

About: I’ve had dogs since I was little ranging from 10ths to 95lbs. I have cared for puppies and senior dogs at 15 years old. I love walking parks such as Sloans or Wash Park with the dogs, and I work remotely so I can spend quality time during the day with your pup as well. I’ve dog sat for my friends for 3 years, and I am excited to care for your furry friend next! I work remotely and have flexibility in my schedule so I can go on multiple walks or check-ins a day to ensure your pup is well exercised and cared for while you’re away I always ensure that pet’s leashes and harnesses are secure before opening any doors, and always keep them on the inside of the sidewalk while walking next to the roadway.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Edgewater
Highly recommend Makayla! We had a last minute need for someone to watch our 4-year old 70 lb Goldendoodle while we attended a concert at Red Rocks. We searched the area on Rover and found MaKayla so we sent request. Within 10 mins. She had responded she could watch our pup. She made it extremely easy for us - we dropped him off with her that evening and we picked him up the next morning. She shared pics of our dog playing with her pups and sleeping on the couch, giving us great comfort that Dash was being taken care of while we enjoyed the concert! Thank you Makayla for your wonderful care for Dash!

Adam was absolutely amazing with our two cats, Olyve and Bean! He cared for them for 10 days while we were apartment hunting, and from the very beginning we knew they were in great hands. Every single day he sent detailed updates about how they were doing, along with lots of adorable photos that made us smile and gave us so much peace of mind. He was incredibly responsive, communicative, and genuinely cared about making sure both the cats and we were comfortable. When they needed extra supplies, Adam didn’t hesitate to go out and get them. That level of thoughtfulness and care meant so much to us, especially during an already stressful time. It’s not easy to leave your pets with someone new, but Adam immediately put us at ease. Olyve and Bean were clearly happy, well cared for, and loved while they were with him. We would hire Adam again in a heartbeat. The only downside to writing this review is that I’m worried everyone else will discover how incredible he is and he’ll never be available when we need him again! 😂 Thank you, Adam, for taking such wonderful care of our babies. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

My dog’s second stay with Analisa & her family and it was so clear upon drop off that he was thrilled to be back! Such a relief to leave him somewhere he CLEARLY wanted to be for a longer stay. As always, great communication and I returned to a happy, well looked after dog :)

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
