“My experience with them was amazing and couldn’t have asked for any other than them , they took very good care of Astro and he was loved , taken care of like their own and made me feel at ease when I was away on vacation, they updated everyday about his activities and loved it , I would definitely recommend them to everyone, I felt so happy that I picked them for Astro , he loved them and missed them when he got back home too !!”

“Monica is an excellent sitter. Our dog boarded with her for nearly 2 weeks and he was top shape when he came back. When we brought him to her he had some minor health issues (eye infection, skin irritation) that required some attention and medications that she very nicely provided. She also enjoyed playing with him, bringing him for walks, and in a safe park for runs. He is missing her for sure! I recommend Monica 100%!”

“Jessica and John were so wonderful with my dog. They were responsive and sent so many photos and videos which made me feel more comfortable while I was away. I will definitely book with them again!”

“I had a fantastic experience with this Rover sitter! She was able to watch my dog last minute and even took him for a run, which he absolutely loved. Communication was excellent, and I felt completely at ease knowing my dog was in such caring and capable hands. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and enthusiastic pet sitter!”

“Thank you so much for taking care of Wilson and Waldo! All the pictures you sent and your communication. They had a great time. The thank you note and the drawings of both dogs were such a lovely surprise. I would definitely use you guys again and recommend you to anyone looking for a great sitter.”

“Erin was great with my Great Pyrenees, Sammy. I could tell how happy he was during his stay there; he didn’t want to leave and took a long nap from all the fun he had when we got home. Loved the photo updates and was grateful she didn’t mind him snuggling up on the couch. I’d recommend Erin for any dog!”

Tabea was amazing! She was communicative from start to finish and made the whole experience stress-free. She picked Cash up and dropped him off right on time, sent me photos and regular updates while he was with her, and took great care of him. It was obvious that Cash was in good hands. I would absolutely trust her to watch him again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter. Thank you, Tabea

Jenny and Lisa did a great job with Juniper, she got lots of love and attention and was very well taken care of. Jenny provides daily updates and photos, which I appreciated. You can tell how much this family loves dogs and getting to take care of them. I’m not even sure my dog missed me, and she’s usually attached to me constantly. Will definitely use Jenny and her family again in the future.

When our regular sitter had to cancel within a week of our trip and I was worried that I wouldn’t a good match on short notice. But, William and Lauren were wonderful with our senior boy, Baxter - keeping him comfortable, on schedule, and administering meds. They have the perfect home for older pups - single story, beautiful back yard, and lots of love.

Lisa went above and beyond for our golden. She was very understanding of his needs and treated him with so much kindness and love. She would send us multiple updates a day with usually 2/3 photos. All of a very happy dog! Lisa communicated with us in a timely and detailed way that put us at ease leaving our pup for. Multi-day trip. Levi ran out of food treats and she ordered some for him of the same brand to make sure he was satisfied. I will express my appreciation for Lisa every chance I get. If you need a sitter I couldn’t think of a more thoughtful and warm sitter for your furry friend. We will certainly look to rebook when we have another need.

Clinton was great with our high anxiety dog! His lifestyle fits perfectly with our pup’s needs and we felt very comfortable and confident leaving our furry guy with Clinton for the week. He allowed us to do a meet and greet and visit his home, get comfortable with his dog, and was very communicative with texts and pictures while we were away. We felt our dog was well-taken care of with Clint and we are so grateful to have found someone to care for our dog while we are away!

Great care for my 10 month old puppy! Blake was receptive to puppy proofing the house and keeping an eye out for destructive chewing. He used all the treats and chew toys I sent to keep puppy off sneakers & remote controls. 😆 She loved the personalized attention, having someone with her all day and socializing with Blake's other clients. Would highly recommend!

Kayde was AMAZING!! She took my last minute request and made me feel so much better about leaving Lou for a week. She was beyond responsive to all of my messages. I received tons of updates throughout the entire stay, including numerous videos. Lou looked very happy in all of them:) if I’m in the area again and need a sitter I will be reaching out to Kayde!!

Our family is so thankful for Lisa and the wonderful care she provides. Lisa is kind, attentive, loving, and always a pleasure to interact with. Our dog, Mele, loves Lisa, her lovely home, and her sweet dogs, Remi and Butters! Mele always has a blast at Lisa’s house and our family can rest well knowing that he is well taken care of. A++ would recommend :)

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
