“We left our puppy Eila with Sam for daycare for 3 days and she did an incredible job! It was our first time leaving our puppy with someone else and she made sure to make us feel reassured and sent lots of photos throughout the day. By day 3, our puppy was running up to Sam’s door excited for her day with her! Her pug Stella is also so sweet and got along great with Eila. I would definitely trust her and recommend her!”

“Jen, Jim, their daughter, and their pup all really went out of their way to make sure Harper had a great first day with them. Harper especially loved snuggling and exploring their incredible backyard. 10/10 recommend!”

“Lauren was an amazing sitter for Pascha. She was communicative and kept me updated throughout the day and was also very flexible. Pascha had a great time at doggie day care at Lauren’s and was excited to go each day - which says something considering she’s a sassy Shiba. I’d definitely recommend your dog stay with Lauren, they will have a great time and will be in good hands.”

“Kailey really took the time to understand Ranger and his different quirks. I can tell she puts safety first with the dogs and that is so huge / hard to find!!! He had so much fun and was worn out and a happy boy when I picked him up!”

“Cera is fantastic and I felt 100% comfortable knowing that Cashew was in excellent hands. She sent him home worn out, with his nails clipped, ears cleaned, and a tiny little tie on his collar (adorable!). I will absolutely utilize Cera's services again, and you should to! :) ”

About: I have been caring for dogs since I was 14! I grew up in a small town in Upstate, New York where I started caring for a few pets. Family friends and neighbors alike began asking if I could care for their pets while they were away. I have experience with puppies, such as potty training and basic commands. I also have experience with senior dogs and administering medications. I also have experience with many other types of animals, such as cats, rabbits, chinchillas, hamsters, and reptiles! I am available everyday for sittings or boardings (unless I already have a boarding) for all pet sitting needs, in your home or mine. I do have a dog, who gets along with other animals as well! I stay in an apartment, with another dog to keep your fur baby company! **HE WILL BE IN A BOARD & TRAIN CLASS THROUGH JANUARY 21ST** This is the perfect time to board with me if you have a reactive dog or don’t want your cat or dog to be around other animals! I have a large crate that can accommodate most dogs if need be. I am also available to commute to your home. I send pictures and updates to let you know how your fur baby is, and can facetime as well!
“Just wanted to follow up and mention that Harper has stayed with Sara several more times and she is as awesome as ever. Her little dog Peanut has become one of Harper’s best friends and she is always so excited to go play. Sara is wonderful with dogs and seems to really speak their language.”

About: I would love to take care of your dog! I’ve been taking care of pets for years, including my rescue girl, Cactus. Big, small, old, young - I’m confident I can meet your pet’s needs. I run most days and love to hike, so can take your dog on adventures if they prefer. I’m also happy to cuddle on the couch if that’s more their vibe. I work from home full time, so I am flexible to hang out with your pet on the schedule that works best with both you and them. I live in a house with a backyard that has plenty of room for playing! My dog Cactus is three years old and is extremely friendly. She’s playful with dogs that are interested in playing but is very cognizant of leaving other dogs alone if they want to chill. I live with my partner who works from home full time.
About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and appreciate learning their personalities and temperaments. I enjoy walking and game activities as well as light grooming keeping in step with a pet’s specific needs. I am especially fond of senior dogs. Having recently lost my two seniors, and made the most of their life through walking at their pace and tending to their special needs. I also love gardening and available for plant care while you’re away. I am currently transitioning from full time work to a flexible semi-retirement lifestyle. I recently loss a pet and know that while I’ll receive another one. I’d like to enjoy and help other pet owners as a first step along the way. My preference is to pet/housesit to keep a pet feeling comfortable in their surroundings and routine. Consistency and familiarity helps ensure less stress from a pet’s daily routine. Senior pets are my weak spot as I enjoy tending to the special needs they may require ie walking at their pace and promoting gentle and calm.
“Carolina was amazing! She provided regular updates throughout the day about my beloved fur baby, which put my mind at ease. I'm thrilled that Hiro had such a wonderful time with Ody.”

About: I have experience with dogs in all stages of life- from puppy to senior to end of life care. I grew up with dogs constantly throughout life and have also volunteered at animal shelters for many years. Your furbaby will be in good hands! The name is actually SOMI. I’m a nurse taking a break from the busy hustle of taking care of patients. During this break, I have decided to start Rover to spend time getting to know your precious furbabies! Nothing I’d rather do than to cuddle up with your pups :) I live in a townhome and although I do not have a fenced yard, there’s so much space to walk around the neighborhood. I live very close to Wash Park which is the main park I take my pup to and many more in the surrounding area.

About: I will provide attentive, loving care for your pup! My girlfriend and I live in a two bedroom house with a spacious and dog friendly backyard. Itsy is my 3 year old Japanese Chin/Chihuahua mix, I call him a CHINHuaHua :) He is very energetic and just loves to play all day. (I wish he could give me some of his energy!) Our other dog was rescued through the Rocky Mountain Puppy Rescue. She is cattle dog mix of some sort, making her a very energetic and a super fun dog. I am happy to do anything to make sure your dog has a great time with us while you are away! About this sitter: There is no animal I wouldn't love to pamper! Your dog will find he never needs to ask for attention and love. I currently have two dogs of my own. I've grown up with dogs and cats all my life and I have volunteered at the Humane Society as a dog walker. I am a 25 year old college student and part-time server. Between my girlfriend and I, we will have plenty of time to devote to watching and caring for your dog/s as someone is almost always home. I have over 10 years experience with taking care and some knowledge of training of all different ages from puppies to older dogs. I love them all. I have been house sitting/dog sitting since I was about 15 years old and I have been on Rover.com for about 2 years now. I love playing with dogs and making sure they are as happy as they can be! Why I love dog sitting: I love dog sitting because it gives me so many opportunities to meet and play with other dogs. It also helps me keep my dogs socialized. I get to meet all kinds of people and their pups, and it gives me a lot of joy to be able to help other out with their best friends. About my yard My backyard is fairly large in comparison to our smaller sized house. Its fenced all around and gives the pups lots of room to run and play and get their energy out. While your pup is here I will always be outside with them, never to leave them unattended and I would never leave them outside while I'm away for any reason. My experience administering medication: I can administer any medications your dog may have as long as you provide all the instructions.

Englewood dog parents share their Rover experiences
Needing a break from taking care of our new puppy, we booked with Sam with little expectations other than having an easy day without the puppy. Sam absolutely set the bar for us in terms of dog sitters. After getting much needed close attention and playing with her sweet pug Stella, we’ve never seen our puppy more happy and sleepy before. Sam had kept us at ease the entire day knowing our puppy was in good hands. 10/10

Lauren was an amazing sitter for Pascha. She was communicative and kept me updated throughout the day and was also very flexible. Pascha had a great time at doggie day care at Lauren’s and was excited to go each day - which says something considering she’s a sassy Shiba. I’d definitely recommend your dog stay with Lauren, they will have a great time and will be in good hands.

Erin took amazing care of my dog while we were away for the day, treating him like part of her own family. It was such a comfort knowing he was not only safe and well cared for, but also having a blast playing with her sweet dog. My dog came home happy, relaxed, and maybe a little disappointed to leave! I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again.

Look no further! I have never left a review for any sitter I’ve ever used after almost ten years on the app. Kaylin was the best. Communication, friendliness, and super understanding of my crazy puppy. If you’re looking for a sitter, it won’t get any better than Kaylin. 12 out of 10.

This was my first time using Rover and I am so happy it was Fernanda! She watched my two pups for a day and I was a bit worried about how the youngest one would react because of her anxiety and unpredictability, but Fernanda handled her so well! Throughout her stay with them she sent me photos and kept me up to date. When I went to pick them up, I couldn’t believe how comfortable both my pups were with Fernanda. It was awesome to see how happy they were. Such a great experience and I thank Fernanda for being so kind and accommodating to my pups!

This was the second time we left our rescue Shipoo who has separation anxiety with Michelle while we went out for an evening. Digby loves going to Michelle's and she is so attentive to him and she "knows" dogs. She is great about taking him on walks and just making him feel loved and comfortable! Michelle is very responsive and accommodating as well.
