About: I work in education and have summers (and holiday stretches) off. My dog recently passed away. He was a large / elderly / mobility-assisted / diapered / blind / medicated dog I had adopted almost 8 years ago. I had adopted a hospice dog in 2023 as well - she was a large breed with multiple cancers, so I am also familiar with that type of end of life care. I love dogs. I have used Rover often and now I would love the chance to use our empty home this summer to pet sit for others! I have an open summer! I work in education and have summers off. I do not have a schedule that I must adhere to. This is a flexible time for me. There are no other pets in our home. I know this is important for some to feel content with their pet being cared for, so this might fill a need that is harder to find!

About: I basically grew up in a zoo (the fun kind), and caring for animals has always been second nature to me. I graduated from an animal training program in my 20s, spent three years as a vet tech (I love exotics too), and now work as an RN, so your pets are in very attentive, capable hands. Over the past four years, I’ve fostered 50+ dogs, helping them feel safe, loved, and totally spoiled while they waited for their forever homes. I’m the friend everyone calls when they need a pet sitter… and I’d love to be that person for you, too! Pet care is woven into my everyday life. As a longtime foster, my days naturally revolve around walks, training, and snuggles. I am not a certified trainer, but I love to incorporate the basics for every animal in my care. This includes training with walks. Working as an RN has made me highly organized and attentive to routines, so I'm very comfortable sticking to feeding times, medication schedules, and special care instructions. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family. I follow their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, crate time, medication, and training cues. With my background in animal training and experience as a vet tech, I'm confident handling different temperaments, reinforcing positive behaviors, and monitoring for signs of stress or illness. On walks, I focus on structured, safe outings that are both enriching and fun. I use secure leashing, stay aware of surroundings, and tailor the pace to your dog's energy level and needs. (I'm also a runner if they enjoy that).

About: I’ve had dogs since I was 5 and treated them as my own child! I’m experienced with medications and injuries as my own two babies have battled bronchitis and hip surgery. Family and friends rely on me for dietary and overall health of their furkids! My fur kid is my world! *Boarding and Daycare services include a daily walk (weather permitting) (This is a child free home). I’m currently working part-time and am usually home (working remotely) 2 days a week and half days the other 3. My schedule is very flexible. I walk my dogs almost daily and they have a large fenced backyard to play and roam. There is a park next to my home with many trails and parks within a 5 mile radius.

I didn’t want to leave her alone for even a few hours, and I’m so glad I found Nicole! She was incredibly responsive to Lyric’s special needs and gave her the calm, caring environment she needed. Nicole sent me the sweetest photos of Lyric playing—and even told me about her making out with another dog (she gives lots of kisses, she’s a bit of a flirt!). Lyric was so content she didn’t even want to leave when I arrived. In fact, the fireworks had her so spooked that Papa had to carry her to the van! I felt completely at ease knowing my baby girl was in such good hands. I’ll definitely be using Nicole again!”

About: As a mom and past pet owner myself I understand being worried about how your children get treated, and that’s why I would love to care, love, and have patience for them, just how I would appreciate other people doing it for my kids I’m a stay at home mom, and it would allow me to do something that I love while everyone else in the house is home for work. While also living with the pet lovers that my 20 yr daughter and partner are. I make sure they feel comfortable with my presence firstly, try to get them to trust me with some pets, treats or lots of cute words. I also feed them, making sure to comply with all of their diet requirements, give them lots of water to drink, brush their hair, and make sure to keep them estimulated with toys and pets. With also the essential recurring walks every 2-4 house to tire them out and let them take a lovely nap on the couches at home. Sending them home with some treats and lots of love hoping they come back may day the care is needed.
