PLEASE NOTE For the safety and comfort of all the pups in my care, I currently accept dogs up to 25 lbs so everyone is well-matched in size and play style. 🐶 Since I work from home full-time, pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine. I’m home throughout the day to provide consistent attention, supervision, and plenty of playtime and potty breaks. My schedule is very flexible, so I can easily adapt to each dog’s needs and routine. If I do need to step out for a quick errand, I’m never gone for more than about 2 hours, so your pup will never be left alone for long. For 3 winters, I took car of my friend's cat with a thyroid issue and have given daily meds to the cat. I am currently working from home so you’re pet will have all day attention and have plenty of time during the day to take your dog on potty breaks. I’m off of work at 4pm and like to go for walks or hikes. I make sure I have the dogs on a leash before I open the door. At client's home, I make sure I have the key for the door before leaving to take the dogs outside. I like to check the house before I leave and make sure things are safe for the animal. Doors are shut to rooms/bathrooms, garbage are covered and there is water for them to drink.

I have a crate available if your dog prefers to sleep in one or is working on crate training, but otherwise pups are welcome on all the furniture and can make themselves at home.

About: I have been a dog owner for the last 16 years (I have had a cat as well). I have also been helping a dog rescue with fostering and my current dog is a "foster fail" :), e.g. I ended up keeping him after fostering. I am software engineer working from home and have a dog of my own so taking care of an extra one works out great. I do frequent walks regardless. I have a spacious apartment bordering the Bear Creek green belt for great and stimulating walks. I also have access to grass areas just outside the door when quick breaks are needed. My own dog is really relaxed and mostly does his own thing. While he was a puppy I fostered dogs and did Rover hosting as well so he got used to other dogs from the start.
