“The best petsitting experience. Kate was so flexible with our last-minute booking and other changes and so kind. She sent updates and took great care of not only our pets but our home. Will be rebooking when we need her!!”

“Brittany took excellent care of my three adult cats and two foster kittens over a long weekend in my home! Both the cats and the home were better when we returned than how we left them - she followed the pet care instructions to a tee (including one cat that needed daily medication), sent lots of photos and updates, and even brought in mail/tidied up around the house. She went above and beyond to brush the cats and spend quality time with the energetic kittens. She was a good communicator, reliable, and trustworthy and I’d book her again without hesitation.”

“Teddy was amazing and took the best care of my pup, Clover. She was incredibly communicative, professional, and left my house nicer than she found it. Clover loved her and they had the best time together. I will 100% book with Teddy again :)”

“Conrad was absolutely fabulous. Everyone was very happy and well cared for. Communication was excellent, and pictures were sent as requested. We will definitely be using Conrad’s services again in the near future.”

“Enecia was amazing!! She was great with sending me pics of my fur babies and making sure they were well taken care of! She really has an attention for details too! Will definitely be using her again!! 10/10!!!”

“I went on vacation for a week and Vlad took such great care of my two, rather rambunctious dogs. He put me at ease by sending daily updates on my dogs. I will definitely call on him again!!”

“Angie was terrific! She gave our pets a lot of TLC and was great about sending pics every day. Angie was also really flexible and kind, staying later than we’d planned when our flight home got delayed. Could not recommend her highly enough!”

“Mitch did a wonderful job sitting Kizmet! She was extremely happy when I got home. He sent updates and pictures to me regularly. Also, on his first stay, I got stuck out of town, and Kizmet also had a seizure. He handled everything extremely well, and took good care to reassure me that all was well, and that Kiz was ok. I would recommend him wholeheartedly! You can rest easy if he is caring for your fur baby!”
“Kaitlyn was fantastic! She took excellent care of our pups. We loved receiving daily pictures and updates, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. It was clear our dogs were happy, comfortable, and well cared for. We would absolutely recommend Kaitlyn to anyone looking for a trustworthy, attentive, and caring pet sitter!”

“Caleb was awesome! We were gone for a bit over a week and Caleb kept everything running smoothly. Our pups looked like they were having fun on the walks in the pictures Caleb sent to us. We are so grateful to have a trustworthy, kind sitter to care for the two most important things in our lives -- our dogs!”

“Daria was excellent in house-sitting for our 2 large dogs and 1 cat. She accepted our booking request on short notice, scheduled a meet & greet, and she even read up on our pets profile notes beforehand. All very seamless and while we were away, we received daily updates and pictures! Great service, good price, no complaints!”

“Ayla & Han are great!!! They took great care of my pup while we were gone for a full week. They are trustworthy, clean, and easy to communicate with/contact. I will hopefully get to use them again for future trips.”

“Morgan is just amazing. Communicating was great back and forth, even when our flight plans had to change. She took excellent care of our doggies and our house. She was here with the dogs for the vast majority of the day, which was important to me. She is my go-to sitter going forward.”

“Lindsay was great! She sent daily updates and photos of our dogs and took great care of them while we were away. Our dogs seemed to love her! She also left our house nice and clean. We would definitely use Lindsay again next time we need someone to watch our dogs. Thank you Lindsay!”

“Tamarine gets an A+ for her care of my prized rescue dog and going over and beyond the call of duty in her house sitting. I am happy that Tamerine was available for this firs time experience and will definitely reach out to her moving forward. Thank you Tamarine!”

“Dilruba was so kind! She kept my one year old golden retriever active and outside for much of the day (her favorite thing). She kept the house very clean and was communicative. Will Book Ruby again! Thank you!”

Madeline was very communicative throughout my entire trip! My dogs seemed happy and well cared for in the pictures and videos she sent. At the end of the stay, she had tidied up the house which was much appreciated after a long flight. Would definitely book with her again!

Wow!! What an incredible sitter! I felt so comfortable meeting Alanna and having her stay at my home with my 3 pets while I was away. She left the house sparkling clean, she even changed my sheets and was so professional with communication and details. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking comfort knowing their kiddos are in safe, capable, and reliable hands while away. Can’t wait to book her again. She administered meds to my pup and took great care of my kitties too. Wonderful sitter!! A+
Heather was fantastic our dog Piper loved playing with her. She followed all instructions and left the house immaculate. Highly recommend her wish we had found her sooner. We will definitely be using her in the future and will feel absolutely comfortable leaving Piper with her. 👍👍👍👍

Daria was amazing with our pets while we were away. We have four dogs and two cats, so it’s definitely not the easiest house to pet sit, and she handled everything so well. Two of our dogs need medication, and all four dogs are notorious for barely eating when we leave. Somehow Daria got every single one of them to eat, even our super picky ones, which honestly says a lot. She sent us updates and photos every day, took great care of the house, and left everything clean when we got home. It was such a relief knowing everyone was being well cared for. We’d absolutely have her pet sit for us again.

Nathanniel was absolutely incredible! He house sat our cat and dog for a few days and was extremely responsive the whole time, sent updates frequently including photos and videos, and overall is just a great person! Our cat is usually very shy initially, but he warmed up to Nathanniel immediately. We felt at ease being away and knew our pets were in great hands. Not only were our pets safe, but our house was in perfect condition when we returned. I can’t recommend him enough.

Highly recommend Mariesa! She stayed at our house to watch our pup, Nova, over our extended wedding weekend and she was excellent. We knew our girl was in great hands while we were away and didn’t have to worry about her at all. She has some specific medication and dietary needs and Mariesa went above and beyond to make sure she was happy and healthy while we were away. Thank you Mariesa!

Amanda was great . My dog was not exactly a fan of us leaving her , and was pretty much grumpy the entire time . But she was patient with her and didn’t force her into doing anything she wasn’t comfortable with . Gave me updates. I still had a stress free vacation knowing she was going back and forth to my house to check on her . I will use her again if she will have it 😅

Kasey went above and beyond this weekend while watching my two dogs. Theyre BIG dogs and she was amazing with them! She made sure I had check-ins, pictures, clear communication and understood clear expectations for their care. Kasey watched our home as well and left it BETTER than she arrived. She brought toys and things to entertain the pups, which they loved. I couldnt ask for a better pup-sitter! Thank you thank you for giving me peace of mind for the weekend, knowing my big babies were well taken care of.

Erin is simply an amazing human and pet sitter! She watched our two cats while we were traveling for a week. One of our cats can be pretty skittish and she was able to get her to come out of her shell when we've only ever seen her get close to my son. I'd highly recommend Erin for anyone looking for a pet/house sitter, we'll definitely ask her to watch our pets in the future. :) Thank you, Erin!!

Brad stayed at our house for 4 days to care for our 2yr old lab mix. She stays in a crate when we are out of the house, so we wanted someone who would not be gone for long periods of time. Brad works remotely so he was able to do that. Our dog seemed to like him a lot. He left the house as he found it and even washed his dishes and put his sheets in the wash.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Littleton walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Littleton maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Littleton choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
