She even cleaned up the guest room when she didn’t have too as well. She was absolutely AMAZING and would recommend her any day of the week!”

“Madison was absolutely amazing! She left our house spotless and our animals well loved. I would recommend her any time, she even accepted the booking with late notice. Elias can be pretty energetic but she didn’t mind. Thank you Madi🩷”

“Mitch was great with our recent rescue. Our pup had only been in the house 2 weeks and Mitch handled our dog with poise. There was the usual alert barking one might expect, but within a minute our dog was fine approaching him, receiving pets, and in less than 5 minutes our dog was on the rug laying down quietly. Mitch knows dogs, I am very comfortable with him watching our dog anytime.”

About: I've taken care of dogs my whole entire life. I had two golden retriever's growing up. My mom and dad always loved having some dogs around, so shortly after they passed my mom decided to get 3 more dogs. One being a 160 lb great dane. I love having dogs and I just recently bought a golden puppy as well as a German Shepard from the shelter. We will just say I LOVE dogs. I am good with basic training puppies as well as walking dogs. I have been dog sitting for my neighbors for quite some time. I can also take extra time and care for senior dogs. I previously worked as a dog grooming assistant when I was 16. I work part time at viewhouse in Littleton. I typically work 3-4 hours on Fridays, and Saturdays, occasionally morning on Sundays. I can drop in to houses from 6am-12am if needed. My schedule is open until August 16th as I am attending UNL in the fall, but will be back in CO during thanksgiving and Christmas break! I will make there will be a clear routine for a walk and an eating schedule. I will make sure to stay on top of the dogs schedule if they already have one as well. A walk a day is a must for me and the dog !
“Lindsay stayed at the house with our three dogs while we were out of town. She was a great house/dogsitter and we would happily use her again! The house was spotless when we returned and the dogs were very relaxed.”

“Tessa watched our dog Canyon in our home for a week in March 2026. Tessa took excellent care of Canyon, provided us with periodic updates and pictures throughout her stay! As an over-the-top and unexpected gesture, Tessa even picked up the backyard, washed any linens she used during her stay, and left our home better than she found it. Tessa is now our preferred sitter and we will definitely ask her first when we next need a sitter.”

“Polina and John took excellent care of our playful and energetic puppy! Their communication was great, they sent us lots of pictures and loved on her like she was their own. Highly recommend their services!”

“Kimberly was great with our rescue Frenchie, Chloe! This was our first time using Rover, & Kimberly was a great choice to get us acquainted with this service. She stayed at our house with Chloe for 5 days, including a couple of snowy Colorado days that made for challenging road conditions. Even so, Kimberly went above & beyond to make sure Chloe was taken care of. We look forward to inviting her back again soon!”

Austin was amazing! We have two big dogs that can be a lot some times and he was amazing with them- they got lots of walks and outdoor play time. We loved getting updates and cute pictures! He also took great care of our pumpkins while we were away. We absolutely recommend Austin!

Megan was a pleasure to work with, and she took such good care of our dog. She was very attentive to communicating with us, and it was clear our dog had the best time with her! Megan stayed in our house and took really good care of our home while we were away. Thank you, Megan!

Amanda was awesome! I needed someone on short notice and she was available. She watched my puppy, and even helped her cure her diarrhea. And she watered my plants at my house. I will definitely book with her again, my puppy loved her time with Amanda and her dogs.

Matt was amazing for a 10 night stay with our 3 dogs. He offered to do as many meet and greets as I needed to feel comfortable and sent pictures. When one of the dogs ate part of our couch (overnight) he was quick to send us a photo and let us know, as well as block the area off so she couldn’t do it again. He responds quickly and is priced more than fairly for the service he is providing. Will definitely book again should the need arise. Thanks Matt!

Kalea did any excellent job with our two dogs and two cats ! She took the dogs for walks and gave all the animals lots of love ! I highly recommend her to take care of your fur babies. Our home was well taken care of and she was great with communication. We will be using her again !

We were delighted at the wonderful care Dan (Mihai) provided for our dog. We had great communication with Dan before and during his stay (house sitting/dog care). We appreciated that he asked good questions as needed and gave us updates with pictures twice a day. Our dog enjoyed his daily walks and lots of love and attention while we were away.

Leah was a caring, professional, and responsive dog sitter! She sent photos, kept in touch, and came over for a check in visit to meet our fur and feather babies prior to our departure. She especially took great care of our elder statesman Tanner who is 14 yo and requires special attention due to being frail from cancer. She was able to clean his nose which routinely gets clogged with blood and mucus. It’s so great to find someone like her. She is mature, dependable, and an all around good person!! Took great care of our home as well.

We LOVE Katy. She is a delight and Dottie is always smiling when she's around. We were lucky to have her house-sit for ten days, and all was grand upon our return. I am so grateful to have someone like her to help. Thanks, Katy! We'll definitely see you for the next one.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of July 2026, there are 8,705 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Ken Caryl. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Ken Caryl walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Ken Caryl maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Ken Caryl choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
