“Lyla loves Jennifer so much! Jennifer is great with communication and making sure the pup is really taken care of on the walk/visit, always providing updates and pictures! Absolutely will rebook:)”

About: We provide a home with love and care. We are used to dogs that may need a bit more attention and we have a yard to play and run in. There are two days a week where your dog would need to be trusted at home with a doggie door. Talk with us about those days but otherwise someone is with that pup We have a fenced large yard for them especially if they like the outdoors. There is space in the house for their own bed, crates and will always have accessibility to the indoors and outdoor. We do have a 6ft fence for those that can jump. We can accommodate one family at a time if requested.
About: I owned and cared for pets my whole life and know that every animal deserves to feel safe, comfy and loved while you're away. I offer boarding in a cam, caring home as well as drop-in visits for cats and dogs. My schedule is very flexible, so I'm often available for same day or last minute bookings. I don't need advance notice, only for cancellations. Whether it's playtime, meals, meds, walks or just a little loving company. I'll treat your pet like my own. My goal is for you to have peace of mind and for your pet to have the care and attention they deserve. I live 15 minutes from Chatfield dog park and am more than happy to take your dog there for walks and exercise. Pet care is already part of my day. I build my routing around feeding times, walks, play breaks, and quick check-ins. I'm used to adjusting my schedule, so pets get steady care and attention throughout the day, and I keep owner updated as I go. In my home, I create a calm, safe space. I have a 6" fenced yard for play, a pet friendly dog and cat for company, and can crate your dog if that's what they need. When I'm in a clients home, I stick closely to your pet's routine, meals, walks, meds, and lots of attention, so things feel consistent. And if your pup loves adventures, I'm just 15 minutes from Chatfield Dog Park and happy to take them out for safe, fun exercise. I focus on clear communication and regular updates so you feel completely at ease while you're away.

“Matthew was a wonderful dog walker who we used for over a couple of months he was consistent on time and very respectful. My puppy absolutely loved him. I would highly recommend.”

“Caleb is easy to communicate with, easy-going, and reliable. He has a very natural way with dogs. I never worried once that our 68-lb princess wasn't in very good hands. Highly recommended.”

“Mary always takes such great care of our dog and he loves when she comes to visit. She sends lots of pictures and is quick to respond even for last minute walks.”

About: Hi! I’m Madison, and I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember! 🐾 I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs, and cats, my entire life, so caring for animals has always been something that comes naturally to me. I’ve had experience with dogs of all sizes and personalities, from tiny pups to big, energetic breeds. I’ve also had the opportunity to work alongside professional dog trainers and spend time working with humane societies, which has given me experience understanding different temperaments, needs, and behaviors. I truly believe every pet has their own unique personality, and I love getting to know what makes each one special. ❤️ At home, I’m a proud dog mom to an Australian Shepherd, German Shepherd, and Pit Bull, so I’m very comfortable with active, strong, playful dogs—and I absolutely adore them! Whether your pup needs a long walk, some playtime, extra cuddles, or simply a little company while you’re away, I’m happy to provide loving and dependable care. Your pets are family, and I’ll treat them like they’re my own. My goal is to make sure you feel completely comfortable and confident knowing your furry friends are happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away. 🐶🐱💕 I’m currently completely available, while on maternity leave until end of October spending time with my new bundle of joy. After October my schedule will be very open until I find a part time working position! When caring for someone else’s pets, I treat them with the same patience, love, and attention I’d want for my own. I’m very comfortable following your pet’s established routine, from feeding schedules and walks to medications, playtime, and downtime. I always take the time to learn their personality and comfort level, and I’m happy to adjust my approach to whatever helps them feel safe, relaxed, and loved. Your pet’s happiness, safety, and well being are my top priority!
About: I’ve taken care of pets for the past five years. I’ve been reliable in walking, feeding, and all around caring for friends pets and look forward to being able to do that for others! I love hikes and walks, so I’m eager to keep pets active, but am always down for a good pet cuddle. I never grew up with dogs or cats of my own, so pet sitting has been a consistent way for me to get all the animal loving I need! I am a college student and work part-time, so I’m used to having a consistent routine and managing my time responsibly. During pet sitting visits, I make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, bathroom breaks, food, and playtime throughout the day. I especially enjoy taking dogs on walks or getting outside with them when possible. For overnight stays, I’m able to settle into the pet’s normal routine and make sure they have plenty of companionship and care while their owners are away. I’m happy to follow each pet’s established schedule and routines so they feel comfortable and at home. I have my own car, so can easily make it to a home at any point, whether that be over a few nights or just a quick visit. I am experienced with dogs and cats of all sizes and am willing to adjust to whatever meets your needs best.
“Vickie is so awesome, It was last minute and she was able to help us with our Tessa's walking needs! She goes out of her way! She is our Tessa's dog walker for sure!”

“Jennie is truly amazing and consistently goes above and beyond for us and our sweet old pup. She takes such wonderful care of him, and it gives us complete peace of mind knowing he’s in her hands. She’s our top choice, and we’re incredibly grateful for her kindness, dedication, and outstanding care.”

“Clay had an instant rapport with Bucky and, despite freezing weather, took him on a long walk around the neighborhood. We were very pleased with his efforts and hope to have him back soon. He is most pleasant and easy to work with.”
About: We have been around dogs for a very long time. As a couple, my wife and I, got our first dog in our wedding trip. Since then, we could not live without at least one dog in the house. We owned an English Cocker Spaniel, an American Cocker Spaniel, a Lab mix, a Dachshund, an American yellow Lab. We currently own a chocolate merle American Cocker Spaniel. We also take care of cats. We are retired, and available at all times during the day to love and care for your dogs and cats. We are performing our duties seriously, without skipping over anything. We are extremely careful about dogs' and cats' safety. We have medical training and on walks / trips we carry a backpack with medical emergency supplies. We like to think ahead and be prepared for any situation.
About: I am a passionate pet lover with 20+ years of experience caring for dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments. I provide reliable, personalized care tailored to each pet’s needs, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. With a focus on communication and trust, I treat every pet as if they were my own, giving you peace of mind and your furry friends the attention they deserve. As a single empty nester with a flexible work-from-home schedule, I provide devoted, personalized pet care with plenty of attention, love, reliability, patience, and compassion. I ensure a safe, comfortable environment by following routines, providing regular exercise, and maintaining trust with pets and owners. I prioritize cleanliness, supervision, and communication to keep pets happy.
About: I started working at a veterinary hospital at age 12 and continued there until college. The vet had a doggy daycare and boarding facility. I also have watched dogs in my home for 15 years. I am now a human nurse and able to offer standard first aide care as well as medication administration. I care very deeply for all the dogs I watch and treat them like my own! I am an oncology nurse and work (only 4 days a week). I am gone from 7:30 am until 5 pm Monday-Thursday and have a family member come over around lunchtime to let my dogs out for a potty break and walk. I am home on the weekends and if I am out and about- it’s something I can bring the dogs to (hikes, parks). I have 2 school aged kids at home. I have a small fenced yard in our townhome. My backyard backs up to a green belt so potty breaks are often done there, on a leash. I also do longer walks (30 min) morning and night. Friday-Sunday we tend to do longer walks or hikes when the weather allows. I have a black lab who is very friendly with others. She can be playful but she can also be respectful of dogs who need space. She gets along with all temperaments. I have a large kennel and a small kennel in my home if needed. My home is doggy proofed (locked cabinets and trash cans) so I let them have full reign of the house if potty trained and not destructive.
“Curtis always has a smile and does a great job walking our 2 boarder collies. They both come home happy and tired. He is on time and his picture during the walks are top notch.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Ken Caryl
Matthew continues to be great. Despite my anxiety with not having my apartment 100% together or my anxiety with Ike sometimes being a ham, Matthew has consistently communicated and is very good at knowing how to handle dogs. My dog, Ike, seems to love his walks with Matthew!

Kaylee is absolutely wonderful! Getting her as our dog walker has quite literally changed our whole world as far as our dogs behavior is concerned. Solo no longer pees in the house when we are gone at work, he is much more pleasant to walk and doesn’t pull nearly as much, and he is just a happier dog! We jokingly refer to her as his “girlfriend”, and he just seems to be so excited to see her for his walks. Couldn’t recommend enough! Thank you!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
