About: Well, my fur babies adore me — and I think that says a lot. I’m honest, kind-hearted, and give pets plenty of love, attention, and care. As a graduate student, I spend a lot of time at home, so your little ones will receive lots of attention and companionship throughout the day. I provide a clean home, a clean yard, and dependable, trustworthy pet sitting. I’m currently in graduate school, which gives me a very flexible schedule and allows me to spend a lot of time at home. I’m available for pet care every day of the week except Mondays from 5pm–9pm while I attend class. Because I’m home so often, your pets will receive plenty of attention, supervision, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. I understand how important consistency, patience, and a calm environment are for pets, and I take pride in providing dependable, attentive care in a clean and safe home. I live in the Harvey Park area, which offers plenty of safe sidewalks, walking paths, and pet-friendly spaces for daily walks and exercise. I’m also just a few blocks from Harvey Park itself, giving dogs access to great outdoor environments and plenty of opportunities for stimulation and activity. I own my home and have a fully fenced backyard that I keep clean, secure, and well maintained for both pets and people. Creating a safe, calm, and comfortable environment is very important to me, and I treat every pet in my care like one of my own. I’m comfortable accommodating a variety of care preferences, including crating or non-crating routines, medication schedules, feeding instructions, exercise needs, and other special requests. I understand every pet has unique routines and personalities, so I’m happy to be flexible and work with owners to provide the care their pets are most comfortable with.
“Caleb is easy to communicate with, easy-going, and reliable. He has a very natural way with dogs. I never worried once that our 68-lb princess wasn't in very good hands. Highly recommended.”

“Summerlyn was amazing she was so sweet and attentive to my little fur baby. She truly cares for your pet as her own. She was very communicative and left great feed back in the app. This helped keep me at ease while I was away from my pup. I was able to book her last minute too and she was so accommodating! Truly a joy to work with her. Will def book again! Highly recommend!”

“Karly is wonderful with our 13 year old girl. Her communication is great and always sends me daily updates. Will book her every time she’s available.”

“Vickie was amazing! She was dependable and on time. Lupo loved her (as did Guido). It was very comforting to know that she was doing such a wonderful job! Highly recommend.”

“Amelia is wonderful! She has been walking my dogs in the afternoons and always communicates well and pays attention to my dog's needs. We are both thankful for her!”

About: We are Jeni and Ashlie- we have been loving dog parents who have experience caring for dogs for most of our lives. We have raised three rescue dogs together who aged from 10 to 14 years, with varying training and health needs. We are also experienced with sitting dogs for friends and family members, up to one month at a time. We are a family of 4 with two young kids who are not ready to commit to a dog of our own again, yet, and instead would like to spend time loving yours while you’re away! With us, your dog will be treated as one of our family members as long as they are with us. For in-home care, dogs must be friendly, well-behaved, potty trained, young children and family oriented. Well behaved means no digging, chewing or pottying in the home. While we have experience with territorial and reactive dogs, due to children in the home, there is a zero tolerance to aggressive behaviors towards children or people. We are experienced with dogs of all ages and sizes, and children will be monitored for positive interactions with dogs in our care. No cat care provided due to allergies. While we work full-time, we are lucky to work from home a few days per week. We also have a dog door if your pup is fully trustable with free roam in the backyard and house. Fenced yard - large yard; No other dogs in home, we have fish; Family environment; Dog door available, if appropriate; Can crate dog if preferred

I enjoy taking my cousin's dogs for hikes near my house, they can be leashed or off least. I have experience with both. For 3 winters, I took car of my friend's cat with a thyroid issue and have given daily meds to the cat. I am currently working from home so you’re pet will have all day attention and have plenty of time during the day to take your dog on potty breaks. I’m off of work at 4pm and like to go for walks or hikes. I make sure I have the dogs on a leash before I open the door. At client's home, I make sure I have the key for the door before leaving to take the dogs outside. I like to check the house before I leave and make sure things are safe for the animal. About: I have grown up with various different pets ranging from dogs, cats, and lizards. I am very comfortable around each of these animals and have lots of experience playing, walking, feeding, and taking care of various animals. I always have plenty of energy and motivation to watch over your furry friends. I currently have a part-time summer internship with very flexible hours. This leaves me with a open schedule to easily cater to your pet care needs. I have three dogs at home. Depending on the dog's personalities I treat them each differently. For example, our older dog is about 10 so I will play with him gently and then lay with him and pet him. As for my other two dogs, one is a beagle and one is a blackmouth cur mix, they are both very young dogs. For these two I will throw the ball and chase them around the yard (which is fenced) and give them a lot more energy-inducing attention and stimulation.

“My Dogs Love Lindsey!!! They are all smiles when she gets there and in all the pictures that she sends me. I love how flexible she is with my schedule and is always on time. My daughter has been very sick and Lindsey offered to check on her for me since I had to be at work. I don't know what I would do without her.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Bow Mar
Jennah was amazing! She was ao communicative and took such good care of my boy while I was gone. We did a meet and greet where she took notes and made sure she was familiar with my home before our booking. He was being a little difficult for her but she was so patient with him and made sure he was looked after no matter what. Will definitely be using her again in the future. Wonderful experience!

Kaylee is absolutely wonderful! Getting her as our dog walker has quite literally changed our whole world as far as our dogs behavior is concerned. Solo no longer pees in the house when we are gone at work, he is much more pleasant to walk and doesn’t pull nearly as much, and he is just a happier dog! We jokingly refer to her as his “girlfriend”, and he just seems to be so excited to see her for his walks. Couldn’t recommend enough! Thank you!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
