“Lexie has just been amazing. We contacted Lexie a few weeks ago to walk our pups. She came over to meet the dogs and you could tell right away that she loved animals. I really appreciated the detailed notes Lexie would leave on the boys Rover card. I’m sure my dogs loved seeing her every day. I would highly recommend her.”

“Jennie is truly amazing and consistently goes above and beyond for us and our sweet old pup. She takes such wonderful care of him, and it gives us complete peace of mind knowing he’s in her hands. She’s our top choice, and we’re incredibly grateful for her kindness, dedication, and outstanding care.”

“Needed a last-minute dog walker and she was so good with our dog, Wally! Will be booking again for sure. The pics of our dog (plus bonus cat pics) are now saved to my phone lol”

“Caleb is easy to communicate with, easy-going, and reliable. He has a very natural way with dogs. I never worried once that our 68-lb princess wasn't in very good hands. Highly recommended.”

About: Over the past 8 years, I have provided house and pet sitting services for numerous clients, ensuring their homes remain secure and their pets receive the best care. My education at Cal Poly has further equipped me with in-depth knowledge of animal behavior, health, and welfare, which enhances my ability to provide exceptional care for pets. I have also gained hands-on experience through various internships and volunteer opportunities, solidifying my practical skills in animal care. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily and weekly routine. As a dedicated animal science student at Cal Poly, I have structured my schedule to prioritize animal care and welfare. Now that I am home from school for the summer, I am available to stay overnight and on weekends to ensure comprehensive care for your pets. My daily routine includes morning and evening check-ins, feeding, exercise, and medication administration as needed. When pets are in my home, I ensure they feel comfortable and secure, with dedicated spaces for rest, play, and nourishment. Daily routines include regular exercise, mental stimulation, and adherence to any dietary or medical requirements. For clients' homes, I conduct multiple daily visits to maintain consistency in feeding schedules, administer medications as needed, and provide companionship. I also take care of household tasks, such as bringing in mail and watering plants, to ensure the home remains secure and well-maintained in their absence. Throughout, clear communication with clients, including updates and photos of their pets, ensures peace of mind and reinforces trust in my care.
About: We are Jeni and Ashlie- we have been loving dog parents who have experience caring for dogs for most of our lives. We have raised three rescue dogs together who aged from 10 to 14 years, with varying training and health needs. We are also experienced with sitting dogs for friends and family members, up to one month at a time. We are a family of 4 with two young kids who are not ready to commit to a dog of our own again, yet, and instead would like to spend time loving yours while you’re away! With us, your dog will be treated as one of our family members as long as they are with us. For in-home care, dogs must be friendly, well-behaved, potty trained, young children and family oriented. Well behaved means no digging, chewing or pottying in the home. While we have experience with territorial and reactive dogs, due to children in the home, there is a zero tolerance to aggressive behaviors towards children or people. We are experienced with dogs of all ages and sizes, and children will be monitored for positive interactions with dogs in our care. No cat care provided due to allergies. While we work full-time, we are lucky to work from home a few days per week. We also have a dog door if your pup is fully trustable with free roam in the backyard and house. Fenced yard - large yard; No other dogs in home, we have fish; Family environment; Dog door available, if appropriate; Can crate dog if preferred

If boarding at my house: I have a large fenced yard that is secure. I have a 3 bedroom home and lots of room for your pet. My dogs are friendly and up to date on shots and neutered. They get along with all breeds and sizes of dogs. If staying at your place, I treat it with respect and keep it tidy.
“Jasmine has done a wonderful job caring for Finley for his potty and walk breaks from his crate while I’m at work. You can tell right away that she really loves dogs. She is caring and respectful, and communicates well. I will definitely use her again!”

“We are so happy that David was able to walk our pup on a day we would be gone most of the day. We came home to a very happy and tired our boy. We look forward to working more with David in the future.”

About: 🐾 About Us We’ve spent our entire lives surrounded by dogs, and caring for them has always been a central part of who we are. Will began training dogs for Assistant Dogs of America at a young age and has successfully fostered, trained, and placed several dogs through the program. Every dog we’ve personally owned has been adopted, giving us hands‑on experience with a wide range of breeds, personalities, and needs. Recently, we said goodbye to our beloved 12‑year‑old Great “DoberDane” and our 16‑year‑old Mini Bull Terrier, both of whom passed from natural causes. Their loss has been incredibly difficult, and as we take time to heal, we’ve decided to begin accepting new clients again. Providing care for other dogs feels like a meaningful way to move forward while honoring the love we shared with ours. 🏡 Our Home & Environment We live in a one‑story single‑family home with a fully fenced, escape‑proof yard—tested thoroughly by our clever Mini Bull Terrier. With only two steps at the front door and one at the back, our home is ideal for senior dogs or pups with mobility challenges. Because we both work from home, we’re able to keep a close eye on the dogs in our care. Our home office overlooks the backyard, and our large pet door allows dogs to move freely between indoors and outdoors (when approriate). We’re located near downtown Littleton and regularly visit the nearby parks for walks, enrichment, and fresh air. Our goal is always to create a fun, low‑stress, and happy environment. Walks, dog‑park visits (when appropriate), and daily mental stimulation are part of our routine. ❤️ Specialized Care & Experience We have extensive experience with: • Senior dogs • Mobility challenges and tripods • Medication schedules • Diabetes management (injections and glucose testing) • Heart‑related conditions • Behavioral challenges, including dog/leash aggression • Special diets and individualized care plans Our Great Dane lived with diabetes, and our Mini Bull Terrier had a chronic heart condition, so administering injections, medications, and managing special diets are second nature to us. 🌟 Our Philosophy We’re not interested in boarding as many dogs as possible. Instead, we focus on quality over quantity, offering personalized, attentive care to a small group of repeat clients. We know firsthand how hard it can be to find a trustworthy, calm, and supportive environment—especially for senior dogs or those with special needs. Our mission is to provide the kind of care we always wanted for our own dogs: compassionate, consistent, and tailored to each dog’s unique personality and needs. We value long‑term relationships and love becoming an extended part of a dog’s family. 🐶 Training Background As experienced dog trainers, we understand canine behavior, communication, and positive reinforcement techniques. This helps us create a safe, structured, and enriching environment for every dog who stays with us. We both work from home so we are easily able to accommodate various schedules and monitor our dogs continuously throughout the day. If we both needed to leave for some reason we have a separate, secure laundry room with camera monitoring and a dog door that can be opened/closed accordingly. We typically don’t crate the dogs we watch, unless that is preferred. We have a fairly large fenced yard and live by multiple parks/dog parks. We like to keep dogs well-exercised and stimulated with walks, fetch, dog parks, etc.
“Reliable, available and gives updates if something seems off on your pup. Also sometimes takes pups on runs which is awesome for my high energy pup, would recommend!”

“Amanda was great at communicating her timing, as well as letting me know how my dog was doing. It seemed like he really enjoyed his walk! I also really appreciated all of the photos she shared.”

About: I have personal experience caring for my families two dogs since they were puppies. I currently live with a one year old bernadoodle and help with his daily training and care tasks. I also have experience with overnight dog-sitting and dog walking for friends and family. I am currently in between jobs post-grad and looking for ways to get outside and interact with pets in my area. I am available most weekdays all day and can be available on weekends too with advanced notice. I am willing to follow all the set rules and routines that you have for your pet. I am adaptable and will be attentive to the needs and safety procedures of you and your pet.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Columbine Valley
Kaylee is absolutely wonderful! Getting her as our dog walker has quite literally changed our whole world as far as our dogs behavior is concerned. Solo no longer pees in the house when we are gone at work, he is much more pleasant to walk and doesn’t pull nearly as much, and he is just a happier dog! We jokingly refer to her as his “girlfriend”, and he just seems to be so excited to see her for his walks. Couldn’t recommend enough! Thank you!

Kelli was one of our first experiences with Rover, and we were pretty nervous about having someone we didn’t know take care of our sweet baby, Bruce. From the start, Kelli was amazing! She set up a meet and greet, and we could immediately tell she was a great fit. We also had a phone call beforehand to go over the details, and she was fantastic—by the end of it, all my nerves were completely gone. Bruce absolutely loves Kelli, and she did an incredible job keeping him active and tiring him out—which is no easy task! I would 100% recommend Kelli to my friends.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
