About: We provide a home with love and care. We are used to dogs that may need a bit more attention and we have a yard to play and run in. There are two days a week where your dog would need to be trusted at home with a doggie door. Talk with us about those days but otherwise someone is with that pup We have a fenced large yard for them especially if they like the outdoors. There is space in the house for their own bed, crates and will always have accessibility to the indoors and outdoor. We do have a 6ft fence for those that can jump. We can accommodate one family at a time if requested.

About: I’ve taken care of my own pets as well as family and friends my entire life whether it was for vacation, because my parents were working, etc. I am happy to take care of any babies as I love animals and just want to spread the love! I’m currently working 3 days out of the week over at Walmart because I’m taking real estate licensing courses. I would love to take care of some pets in my free time rather than watching tv or doing arts and crafts. I’m currently in an apartment and don’t have a yard, however I know how to properly walk a dog on leash as Ive taken dog training classes with my family dogs. I would not go by any main roads on a walk just for precaution and safety reasons, though a nice long walk in the neighborhood would be great! I enjoy making sure pets have enough water, food, and energy-burning time.
“Jennifer is absolutely amazing with animals . She is so trustworthy and kind and patient! My son used her in the past and I am so grateful to have her walking my new adopted dog.”

“Justin was great with our dogs. Especially my Ginny. She’s shy and warmed up to him. She was sitting by the door this morning waiting for him to come. 10/10 will use him again!!!”

“So grateful Jennie was able to walk both of my dogs all week while my husband was out of town. They came back so happy to have had some exercise. Will definitely hire her in the future. Thank you!”

“Caleb came through last minute when we needed help. He showed up within an hour and handled our 125lb Saint Bernese mix like a pro. Reliable, responsive, and great with big dogs, we’ll definitely be booking him again.”

“Matthew was a wonderful dog walker who we used for over a couple of months he was consistent on time and very respectful. My puppy absolutely loved him. I would highly recommend.”

About: I have experience caring for dogs of various sizes and have fostered kittens since I was a teenager. I have primarily helped neighbors and family friends with dogs, including dogs with high anxiety or behavioral challenges. I understand the importance of being patient, giving anxious animals space, and helping them feel safe and comfortable. I also have a rescue cat of my own who came from a difficult background and had been mistreated. Because of this experience, I understand how important it is to take things slowly, respect an animal’s boundaries, and build trust over time. I’m comfortable working at an animal’s pace and providing the patience, care, and reassurance they need to feel secure. I’m a full-time college student, but I attend school entirely online, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to provide pet care throughout the day. I can accommodate pets with frequent potty breaks or other specific routines, even if they need attention every hour. I’m also comfortable staying at your home when needed to make sure your pet receives consistent care, attention, and everything they need while you’re away. I provide attentive, structured, and loving care for every pet. I make sure dogs receive regular potty breaks, using a timer to stay consistent and giving them plenty of time to go. I also schedule frequent playtime and interaction for both cats and dogs so they receive plenty of exercise, stimulation, and companionship. I follow each owner’s feeding and watering schedule carefully and will strictly follow any dietary restrictions or special instructions. I will never give your pet food, treats, or anything outside of your instructions without your permission. I believe in being consistent and firm when necessary while still being patient, playful, and affectionate. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while maintaining the routines and rules you have established.
“Vickie is so awesome, It was last minute and she was able to help us with our Tessa's walking needs! She goes out of her way! She is our Tessa's dog walker for sure!”

“Clay had an instant rapport with Bucky and, despite freezing weather, took him on a long walk around the neighborhood. We were very pleased with his efforts and hope to have him back soon. He is most pleasant and easy to work with.”
About: I started working at a veterinary hospital at age 12 and continued there until college. The vet had a doggy daycare and boarding facility where I worked. I also have watched dogs in my home for 15 years. I am an oncology nurse and work (only 32 hours a week- 4 days). I am gone from 7:30 am until 5 pm during the week and have a family member come over around lunchtime to let my dogs out for a potty break and walk. I am home on the weekends and if I am out and about- it’s something I can bring the dogs to (hikes, parks). I have 2 school aged kids at home. I have a fenced yard in our townhome but it is small. My backyard backs up to a green belt so potty breaks are often done there, on a leash. I also do longer walks (30 min) morning and night. I have a black lab who is very friendly with others. I have a large kennel and a small kennel in my home if needed. My home is doggy proofed (locked cabinets and trash cans) so I let them have full reign of the house if potty trained.
“Roxanna & Mark are wonderful and reliable people. We feel very comfortable having them watch our home and pet, and highly recommend them! We feel luck to have met them and are grateful for their help! 10/10!”

About: Hi! I’m Rachel, an experienced, dependable, and loving pet sitter who recently relocated to the Denver area after building a wonderful pet care business and client base in Arizona. I’m excited to now call Colorado home and begin building the same trusted relationships with local pets and their families! With 20+ years of experience caring for animals of all sizes, ages, and personalities, I understand how important it is to have complete peace of mind when leaving your pets in someone else’s care. I treat every pet as if they were my own and prioritize their safety, comfort, happiness, and individual routine. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, enrichment, or snuggling on the couch, I tailor my care to their unique needs and personality. I’m comfortable with all breeds, senior pets, special-needs pets, and feathered family members, and I follow care instructions closely and consistently. Communication is extremely important to me. You can expect plenty of photos and detailed updates so you always know how your pet is doing while you’re away. Pet care is my full-time focus, which allows me to provide a high level of attention, flexibility, reliability, and consistency. My rates reflect the personalized care and commitment I provide to every pet entrusted to me. I’m so excited to be here in Colorado and look forward to meeting you and your pets! 🐾 I’m available most weekdays and weekends unless I have a trip planned. I make sure to update my Rover calendar as often as possible. While caring for your pets in your home I will respect and follow all requests. I am able to follow potty, feeding and medication schedules with no issues.
“Amanda was great at communicating her timing, as well as letting me know how my dog was doing. It seemed like he really enjoyed his walk! I also really appreciated all of the photos she shared.”

About: I have experience with exercising and feeding dogs while their owner is away for a long day. Have house/cat sat many times. My expertise is cats due to owning them and watching friends cats often. But I also love taking care of dogs and making sure they’re happy when their owners life gets too busy. I am available in evenings and weekends. Mondays and Fridays, I work remotely so I can do check ins during the day. My full time job is flexible. I like to watch pets in their own environment. Makes them loads more comfortable. I am able to tell when an animal is scared and don’t push their limits and use patience to let them come to me.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Columbine
We love Jennie! Bella sits by the front door and when she sees her coming up the walk she does zoomers because she’s so excited! Jennie is always friendly and on time! It’s so wonderful to leave Bella in the hands of someone you trust and who takes such good care of your fur baby. Highly recommend!!!
Matthew continues to be great. Despite my anxiety with not having my apartment 100% together or my anxiety with Ike sometimes being a ham, Matthew has consistently communicated and is very good at knowing how to handle dogs. My dog, Ike, seems to love his walks with Matthew!

Kaylee is absolutely wonderful! Getting her as our dog walker has quite literally changed our whole world as far as our dogs behavior is concerned. Solo no longer pees in the house when we are gone at work, he is much more pleasant to walk and doesn’t pull nearly as much, and he is just a happier dog! We jokingly refer to her as his “girlfriend”, and he just seems to be so excited to see her for his walks. Couldn’t recommend enough! Thank you!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
