About: Well, my fur babies adore me — and I think that says a lot. I’m honest, kind-hearted, and give pets plenty of love, attention, and care. As a graduate student, I spend a lot of time at home, so your little ones will receive lots of attention and companionship throughout the day. I provide a clean home, a clean yard, and dependable, trustworthy pet sitting. I’m currently in graduate school, which gives me a very flexible schedule and allows me to spend a lot of time at home. I’m available for pet care every day of the week except Mondays from 5pm–9pm while I attend class. Because I’m home so often, your pets will receive plenty of attention, supervision, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. I understand how important consistency, patience, and a calm environment are for pets, and I take pride in providing dependable, attentive care in a clean and safe home. I live in the Harvey Park area, which offers plenty of safe sidewalks, walking paths, and pet-friendly spaces for daily walks and exercise. I’m also just a few blocks from Harvey Park itself, giving dogs access to great outdoor environments and plenty of opportunities for stimulation and activity. I own my home and have a fully fenced backyard that I keep clean, secure, and well maintained for both pets and people. Creating a safe, calm, and comfortable environment is very important to me, and I treat every pet in my care like one of my own. I’m comfortable accommodating a variety of care preferences, including crating or non-crating routines, medication schedules, feeding instructions, exercise needs, and other special requests. I understand every pet has unique routines and personalities, so I’m happy to be flexible and work with owners to provide the care their pets are most comfortable with.

About: I’ve mostly only ever helped friends and neighbors with their pets. This is cats, dogs and sometimes plants! Last dog I watched for two weeks was on seizure medication and I was in charge of medication. I follow instructions very well! And ask questions! Looking to help with evening walks or feeding! I work until 3 everyday and love to help people. I don’t have a pet right now so I want to help others with theirs:) I know I’m a stranger. I respect their house and that I’m in their territory. I listen to the client and sometimes just too many updates
About: I grew up with dogs, cats, birds, turtles, horses, goats, pigs, chickens, rabbits, and I even had a pet rat for a couple of years. I love animals and getting to know their unique personalities. After my dog died of old age, I found it too hard to think about getting another dog. Now years later I have found that I really miss having animals but because I am a digital nomad, I don’t want to get one of my own. I joined Rover so I could help other people with their pets while they need to travel and so I could get to spend time with animals while not having one of my own. Over the years since losing my dog I have spent a lot of time volunteering at animal shelters. I found it was a great way for me to give back while also being able to get my love and cuddles from adorable animals. I work full time remotely as a Controller. Due to the remote nature of my job, I can be at home almost 24/7 if needed. This allows me to spend plenty of time with any animal or animals I am watching. I am available every day of the week for overnight stays at your home. I have found this is less stressful on animals when they can stay in their own familiar environment with all their own things. I also have the availability to do dog walking or cat check ins any day of the week. I will care for your pets exactly as you would. With good communication on pet behavior and expectations I can carry through with caring for them as you would.
About: I grew up with a dog and a cat, and have taken care of animals most of my life. I don't have any pets of my own right now, which means I'd love to hang out with yours! I'm a online student and gig worker with flexible hours, but mostly looking for drop ins / walks during weekdays. I'm also open to housesitting overnights/weekends for established clients. If you're a new client and you're interested in me sitting for you, we can schedule a meet and greet first - just book a drop-in appt! I'll meet you and your pets and I'll refund you if you end up booking me for housesitting! I like to make sure your pets are comfortable and stick to whatever routine they're used to! Happy to take dogs on walks in your neighborhood, or play with them in your yard.
About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats since I was young. And have an intense passion for animal happiness and wellbeing. I can care for the sick, the elderly, the disabled, and your average everyday babies. I am currently a full time Rover sitter and have wide open availability. I am open to staying at clients homes for short or extended periods of time. I have a medium sized apartment in an extremely walkable neighborhood with multiple pet friendly shops and restaurants nearby. I engage in a lot of enrichment with my own pets from walking/hiking, playtime with toys, and gentle grooming care.
“Nala loved Brittany! This was the first time using Rover and Brittany was so sweet and accommodating. Nala can be a bit overprotective when it comes to strangers coming into the house and Brittany made it easier for me when she agreed to meet Nala beforehand. She was always on time and gave us reports on Nala. Brittany made our first Rover experience wonderful. Thanks!!”

“Tiffany went above and beyond for my dog ! He is nervous around new people and she spent a lot of time with him to make him feel comfortable. She also has experience with injectable medications which was helpful for my diabetic cat. Will definitely be rebooking !”

“This was our first scheduling with Todd. He took time to do a meet/greet with my large Akita Yuki. Todd was very patient with her. He was not rushing at all, and genuinely took the time to let Yuki warm up to him. My girl Yuki is 120 lbs, I could tell right away Todd was very comfortable with big dogs. For the first walk, Todd updated the Rover card with tons of pictures and information. I love having all the walk updates. I am so pleased to have found Todd. He is an experienced dog handler. As a nurse, I would definely recommend Todd to anyone needing coverage for their pup!”

About: Over twenty five years taking care of dogs and cats of all ages. I have a particular fondness for seniors. No dog too small, or too large. Animals staying with me have consistent, safe supervision. While most pets sleep on the couch or their beds, I do offer co-sleeping if your loved one is used to that. Potty breaks in my backyard every few hours. I do not work from home or leave them alone for long periods of time. I have a fenced yard with no pets of my own. Dogs can receive a bath if requested! Next to my safe and loving home is a large park - perfect for sniffs and walks. Snuggly dogs are welcome on the couch and more independent pets relax on the dog bed.
“Chanel was wonderful with my dog, Nala! Nala is big, strong and high energy but Chanel handled her, let's say 'overenthusiasm' 😅, professionally and kindly! She was punctual, respectful and took plenty of cute pics while they were out walking! I will be booking with Chanel again!”

“Abagail is fantastic and sends updates frequently. She is attentive and asks all the questions to make caring for your pup a breeze. We will absolutely have Abagail take care of our pup soon! She is AWESOME!”

About: There has always been a variety of animals in my life, all my life, since I was born. In the present I have one dog and one cat. During my brother's engagement, my now sister-in-law entrusted me with the care of her ausie-dalmation mix for a period of 3 months. All my life with family and friends when it came to pet care I was the one they could depend on. Most recently I surprised a cousin of my wife getting head rubs from here "scared of everything cat." Through my experience as a maintenance technician and a pest control specialist I honed my detail orientation and encountered many furry and sometimes scaley friends. Through my services your hairy baby will receive the quality care as you do yourself! (Experience is based on personal experience that I have provided friends and family. Not through any any agency such as Rover) I am recently married and my wife has given me the opportunity and blessing to pursue a degree. I am a part time student looking to gain an income that will allow me to balance my education. I allocate abiut 20 hours/week to school prefer to be home when my wife is. I provide plentiful exercise through walking and play. Mental stimulation through basic command exercises (sit, stay, and lay down). Brushing sessions as well. I am comfortable bathing and I am comfortable crating if needed.

“Lindsey is great. She always comes within the window and notifies me if she's running a few minutes late or early. She has been very flexible with my schedule and I've been able to book just hours before my requested walk time. Overall I would recommend Lindsey to anyone!”

Stephanie is amazing! I appreciate her thoughtfulness about Perla’s comfort when it’s so hot outside and her willingness to spend time playing inside when it’s not okay to be outside. She clearly cares about Perla and as I always say, we are so lucky to have her!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
