“It was sort of a last minute decision to ask Graham and Brenda to walk my dog (for the first time) and I decided to trust their great reviews I read and did not meet them beforehand. After the fact, I could not be more pleased with the service they provided and I look forward to using them in the future. Thank you!”
“Kelly is wonderful! I can’t recommend Kelly enough! From day one, she has shown incredible love and care for my dog Marcel. Every walk is filled with joy, and it’s clear that she truly enjoys spending time with my pup. Communication is excellent, with regular updates and adorable photos that always brighten my day. It’s such a relief knowing my furry friend is in such caring hands. Thank you, Kelly, for being amazing! Highly recommend! 🐾❤️”

“Aria is so great! She does great report cards, is communicative and tires out my little black lab on the days I have to be in the office, which is a huge help. Highly recommend booking her!”

“Kasia picked up Penny on short notice and took her on a walk around the neighborhood. From the pictures it looks like Penny had a great time and she came home happy.”

“Gary took great care of my dog during a transition period to our new apartment in WeHo. My dog Maverick is a sweetheart but he’s 105 pounds and struggles with a lot of anxiety during moves. Mavericks also a very “motivated” walker lol (he pulls hard sometimes) I had a 12 hour shift and being new to the area, I was looking for someone I could count on. I could tell from the reviews Gary would be trustworthy and equipped to handle Maverick. Gary was patient with me to gain access and find the unit as I’m still learning it myself. It was my 2nd day here. Gary showed up, 24 hours notice and was a life saver. I could tell from the picture and walk Maverick had a great time. My apartment was exactly as I left it and locked. Gary is now Mavericks offical walker three days a week while I’m at work. Highly recommend, look no further!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Glendale
Madeline was so kind, professional, and AMAZING with my Junie. My dog can be a tough client given her high anxiety and fear-based reactivity, but Madeline was such a calming presence for her and was great with managing her behaviors. She sent me lots of pictures and updates, and my dog came back happy and ready for a nap!! Can’t wait to book with Madeline again, I’d recommend her to anyone.

Lauren is absolutely amazing. My two dogs are at very different stages of life—one is 12 years old and the other is only 12 weeks old—and she is incredibly patient and attentive with both of them. She understands their different needs and gives each one the love and care they deserve. Lauren is always prompt, communicates well, and gives me complete peace of mind when I'm away. It's clear that she treats every pet as if they were her own. I couldn't recommend her more highly and will continue to hire her whenever I need pet care. ❤️🐾

Brandi was fantastic!!! She took my two dogs for a walk 2x a day for a week and they loved her. She sent pictures and updates on the walk, was always on time and has just a wonderful, upbeat personality. A number of my neighbors met her while on their walks and were really impressed and asked where I found her. I will book her again next time I'm in need. Thank you Brandi!!!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
