“Kelly is wonderful! I can’t recommend Kelly enough! From day one, she has shown incredible love and care for my dog Marcel. Every walk is filled with joy, and it’s clear that she truly enjoys spending time with my pup. Communication is excellent, with regular updates and adorable photos that always brighten my day. It’s such a relief knowing my furry friend is in such caring hands. Thank you, Kelly, for being amazing! Highly recommend! 🐾❤️”

“Alex is a fantastic, reliable dog walker. My pup looks forward to her regular walks and is always happy on walk days. Alex is great about leaving a summary each day and always let's us know if any issues or scheduling conflicts come up right away.”

About: Since 2023, I have dogsat for two very large and energetic Golden Retrievers, two large Barbets, and a 16 year old Bichon. These experiences with various sizes, ages, and energy levels taught me to balance multiple pets at once, keep up with high energy dogs, and address health issues and medications. I also own a miniature dachshund rescue named Cookie who is very anxious and easily frightened, which has given me a lot of experience working with dogs with trauma and trouble trusting humans. I am not currently employed in Denver as I just graduated from Cal Poly in June. I have a lot of flexibility this summer and will not be starting classes again until September, so for these upcoming months I am very free! Once classes start, I am happy to continue sitting for established clients. My home: - 1/2 acre fenced yard with lots of room to run around and a spacious inside with hardwood floor. - Patio with umbrellas and shade - Patch of turf if preferred - Direct access to a walking path near Hoffman Park in Greenwood Village. - No other dogs in the home. All dogs in a new space will want to explore so I would monitor closely, but still allow them to sniff around and get used to the yard. Your home: I will read over all requirements (feeding time/amount, how long to stay, walks, etc) and text with any clarifying questions. In both my home and yours, I would love to send pictures and updates of your dogs for your peace of mind!
“Savannah has been providing daily morning walks for our older, reactive dog for approximately a month and has been so reliable and responsive. She’s professional, efficient, and has been very capable in handling our dog’s unique needs. All around a great experience and we have come to rely on her as part of our daily routine.”

“Hillary took great care of our dogs! She was mindful of my dog Lola’s nervousness especially around new people. She kept me updated on how the walk went and kept an open line of communication. Will definitely use her again in the future!”

About: I’ve mostly cared for pets belonging to friends and neighbors, including dogs, cats, and even the occasional fish! 🐶🐱🐟 I’m very attentive, follow instructions carefully, and I’m always comfortable asking questions to make sure your pet gets exactly what they need. I’m new to Rover, but I’m not new to being a responsible and caring pet sitter! 🐾❤️ My work schedule varies quite a bit, with shifts ranging anywhere from 6 AM to 10 PM. Because of this, my availability can change from day to day. I’m happy to communicate ahead of time and work with you to find a schedule that works for both you and your pet! One of the dogs I recently cared for stayed with me for two weeks and required seizure medication. I was trusted to administer the medication on schedule and closely follow their care instructions. I’m attentive, responsible, and always ask questions when I’m unsure about something. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities.

“Cassi did an awesome job walking our dog Archie while we on vacation! She definitely has a talent for connecting with animals. Highly recommend reaching out to Cassi to help care for your pet!”

“Just awesome in every sense of the word. Tom and Cara are very caring, patient, and kind. Made our pup feel right at home with them. Thank you!”

About: I am SAHM with an 8 month old baby, so I have a lot of free time on my hands. I am trying to save up to move into a two bedroom from my one bedroom with my husband so she can hwve her own room! I would be elated to get to take care of some animals and have something to do with my time. I’m currently a stay at home, wifey so I have plenty of free time on my hands. Animals would have my full attention. I can handle dogs well. I have an unfenced yard, and a very friendly pomeranian puppy that loves to play with everyone, but if your dog is not a fan of puppies I. can keep mine separated with a doggy gate!. I would absolutely love to have more company.

About: I’ve been watching my neighbors’ animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs and love them dearly and I currently have two cats of my own! Animals are my safe space and I love spoiling them! I currently have two cats, so I obviously give them love and take care of them everyday! I am in school, but do it all online so I am very flexible with my schedule and availability for your pets! I’ll always make sure your animal is comfortable with the way I am interacting with them and never push their limits. For cats - if they aren’t keen on humans, I won’t bother them. If they love attention and to play, I’ll be waving a little wand around immediately to get some of their energy out and giving them lots of love. For dogs - I will make sure they are comfortable and walked, and have gone out enough. I can take them to parks and play, or keep them separate from other animals depending on their personality!
“Todd, thank you so much for taking care of my mother Julie and Suki. You jumped in at a moment’s notice and it came through for us and I’m so grateful and appreciative you were on time professional and my mother loves you, which says a lot.😀 we will be using you in the future for sure!”

About: I have boarded small dogs (10-15 lb) for weeks at a time. I'm very attentive to keeping a schedule but also flexible if things go awry. Currently working remotely and part time so have a lot of availability throughout the week. I don't prefer weekends but am willing to take care of your pets on weekends. I live in an apartment complex in walking distance to multiple parks. Taking your pets out on walks will be no issue. As for boarding, I will clean up after myself and leave the place better than I found it.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Glendale
Clare was absolutely wonderful with Denver and Luna! We felt completely comfortable leaving them in her care, and it was obvious from the beginning that she genuinely loves animals and takes their care seriously. She was reliable, communicative, attentive, and made sure both of them were happy and well cared for while we were away. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were with someone we could trust, and we came home to two very happy pets. We would absolutely book Clare again and couldn’t recommend her more highly!

Carly is simply the best. She was with my dogs and I after I had surgery and was on crutches for six weeks. She is kind and considerate and definitely goes the extra mile. My male dog has a bit of dog reactivity and she was able to see that he’s just nervous. Seriously if you are looking for great care for your pets, Carly is the one!

Chiara is amazing! She goes ahead and beyond in this job! My dog loves her up to the point that he knows when she is coming and look at the door and then seat and wait for her! That is also because she is always on time or if not, she lets me know.He really gets exited when he sees her! She is an amazing human being that stole not only our dogs heart but also my mom’s and myself! I began one week with her but I haven’t recovered well and she accepts to keep coming one week after the other. I had several pet sitters in here all good but her is the best!

Kaylee is the best! Definitely recommend and will book again. Very sweet, caring and professional. She helped walk my 70 lb Lab/Pitty mix while I recovered from a little procedure. She tracked her walks and sent cute pictures of my smiley boy enjoying his outing. My dog came back smiling and tired - job well done :-)

Monica was so kinda and gentle when she first met my dog. Louisa can be stubborn about walking and Monica accommodated to this and spent the full time giving her attention and care since Lou didn’t want to walk. Monica sends detailed report cards with updates and lots of photos. I always find these to be fun to read, especially when I’m missing my girl during the day. This gives me confidence she’s in good hands!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
