About: As a pet owner, I know how worrying it can be to leave your furry family in the care of others, so I would love to ease that worry for you a little by giving your pets the care I would want for mine :)) Over the course of my life I have lived with and taken care of many animals (including cats, dogs, fish, birds, and rabbits) so I am experienced in just about any pet care you need! I just moved to Denver, and am currently teaching at an after-school program, so I am free basically any time you need me, as many times a day as you need me! I love every single animal like my own, and am willing to do whatever makes your animal (and you) feel happy, comfortable, and cared for :). Just let me know of any routine or specific care details (no matter how silly), and I will do my absolute very best to fulfill them!
“Kelly is great! Extremely responsive, responsible and reliable. My two Frenchies adore her! She knows how to regulate their walks depending on the weather (being they are frenchies, their walks are scheduled for mid-day, and the weather is getting warmer as we head into summer). Highly recommend Kelly!”

“This is the second time booking with Gary. He goes above and beyond making sure my dog has clean water, her tv is still running, and a treat after a nice walk. He is excellent at communicating and always takes the cutest pictures of my dog during her walk. I highly recommend Gary!”

About: I want to see your dog happy and healthy. I am attentive to dietary restrictions. I can tend to basic care including nail trims, ear and paw cleaning. I am full time dad and full time student in an online program. I will be home most hours of the day and be ready to tend to your pets needs. I have a dog, Mochi, who would love to keep your dog company. My home has a fully fenced yard with plenty of room to run. Pets are welcome to free roam the house with pet beds and or a couch to snooze on.

About: Since 2023, I have dogsat for two very large and energetic Golden Retrievers, two large Barbets, and a 16 year old Bichon. These experiences with various sizes, ages, and energy levels taught me to balance multiple pets at once, keep up with high energy dogs, and address health issues and medications. I also own a miniature dachshund rescue named Cookie who is very anxious and easily frightened, which has given me a lot of experience working with dogs with trauma and trouble trusting humans. I am not currently employed in Denver as I just graduated from Cal Poly in June. I have a lot of flexibility this summer and will not be starting classes again until September, so for these upcoming months I am very free! Once classes start, I am happy to continue sitting for established clients. My home: - 1/2 acre fenced yard with lots of room to run around and a spacious inside with hardwood floor. - Patio with umbrellas and shade - Patch of turf if preferred - Direct access to a walking path near Hoffman Park in Greenwood Village. - No other dogs in the home. All dogs in a new space will want to explore so I would monitor closely, but still allow them to sniff around and get used to the yard. Your home: I will read over all requirements (feeding time/amount, how long to stay, walks, etc) and text with any clarifying questions. In both my home and yours, I would love to send pictures and updates of your dogs for your peace of mind!
“Kalya was wonderful with our 4 month old puppy. She was available on a short notice, was on time and extremely professional and kind. We highly recommend her services.”

About: I’ve had pets of all sizes since I was very young. Caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life, and I absolutely love both cats and dogs. I currently have two cats of my own, so I understand the importance of providing pets with the love, patience, and attention they deserve. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have experience training dogs for family and friends, helping them build good habits through consistency and positive reinforcement. I’m also comfortable providing senior pet care, including administering medications, monitoring their health, and making sure they are as comfortable, happy, and well cared for as possible. I currently work part time, which allows me to schedule pet care on my days off so I can dedicate my full attention and provide the best possible care for your furry friends. I want to make sure every pet receives the time, patience, and love they deserve while their owners are away. I make sure every pet receives my full attention, patience, and care while they are in my hands. I understand that some pets can experience stress or anxiety when their owners are away, especially when meeting someone new in their home. I always take the time to let pets adjust at their own pace, building trust and creating a safe, comfortable environment where they feel secure and cared for.

About: I have boarded small dogs (10-15 lb) for weeks at a time. I'm very attentive to keeping a schedule but also flexible if things go awry. Currently working remotely and part time so have a lot of availability throughout the week. I don't prefer weekends but am willing to take care of your pets on weekends. I live in an apartment complex in walking distance to multiple parks. Taking your pets out on walks will be no issue. As for boarding, I will clean up after myself and leave the place better than I found it.

Sam is WONDERFUL!!! He went out of his way to make sure that both my pup Jack and I were comfortable. Jack can be a little skittish around strangers, but Sam won him over in minutes. Sam is attentive, communicative, and reliable. He provides incredible peace of mind for me, and Jack is happier and healthier than ever. I genuinely cannot recommend Sam highly enough!!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
