About: Throughout my life I’ve helped friends and family care for their fur babies 🐶 🐱 I’m very active in my community, I love hiking or walking the park. Looking forward to caring for yours :) I’m currently working part time in the afternoon, so I have a very flexible schedule to care for your pets. Let me know your schedule. I live next door to a big park, as well as a lot of trails. I care for my client’s pets as if they were my own.
“I feel comfortable leaving town knowing that Kasia is going to be looking after my cat Micki. I’ve been working with her for quite a few months now and I’m grateful that she can jump in when I have last minute work trips or whatever comes up!”

About: Hey, I’m Mercy! I absolutely love doggies and have been caring for friends' and family dogs for over 6 years…considering every furry friends as family! You can count on me for fun, whether it’s on or off-leash..whatever your pup prefers! I provide a whole lot of love, whether it’s giving baths, going on hikes, or just chilling at home. Your furry friends will be in great hands with me! I currently work in Aerospace Industry, my hrs are chill so I’ll have lots of time on hand to accompany our furry friends. I’m here for the good times haha! Thanks for this opportunity. My loft is about 1,300sqft. all open space. Floors are concrete, wood and tiles. My walls are brick and concrete and my neighbors are all doggie friendly! Point is, doggie’s rule here!
“Ashley did an amazing job taking care of our cat Bo. I think she is his new best friend! She kept me updated with photos and comments. She was very responsive and accommodating. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for Bo.”

About: I have owned dogs my entire life, and helped care for and walk them. I have experience looking after senior dogs (15 yrs old + ) and dogs weighing over 80 pounds. Also experienced with nervous and reactive dogs, so happy to meet them before providing service! Also happy to take on last minute walks. College student home for the summer, so I am flexible and able to fit around your schedule, currently looking after my own dog and walking her daily. I have experience walking large, nervous and reactive dogs, so I understand their unique needs and how to approach situations. Capable of handling large, strong dogs, but I love little ones too!

About: I have several years of experience pet sitting for family and friends, caring for both dogs (small and large breeds) and cats. I grew up with a Goldendoodle and a Maltese Shih Tzu, so I’ve always been around animals and genuinely enjoy their company. As an active person, I love going on walks, playing, and making sure pets get the attention, exercise, and care they need. I treat every pet as if they were my own and strive to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. I currently work full-time 8-5 Monday-Thursday but am available for walks/pet care before or after my work hours and walks/pet care Friday-Sunday. I am great with pets and instructions and approach all pet needs/wants with a positive patient attitude. I can provide both short term and long term pet care in accordance with my schedule.
“Emma was absolutely amazing!! She was so attentive and made sure niko felt loved and taken care of. We will definitely be using her again. Thank you, Emma!”

“Theodore takes such great care of my pup! I can always trust she will be cared for and have a good time when he comes to walk her. The pics I get are top tier, and my pup is always content and well behaved when I get home. Previous sitters have had trouble getting her to focus and go potty, but I know I can always trust Theodore to ensure all her needs are met and good behavior/leash manners are being followed. Definitely recommend booking their services!!”
“Kayla has been amazing! It’s been a huge stress reliever knowing someone is checking in on our older dog. Kayla’s communication is great and it’s comforting to know Mabel (dog) is in good hands. I’ll definitely continue to use Kayla’s services.”

About: I’ve been watching my neighbors’ animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs and love them dearly and I currently have two cats of my own! Animals are my safe space and I love spoiling them! I currently have two cats, so I obviously give them love and take care of them everyday! I am in school, but do it all online so I am very flexible with my schedule and availability for your pets! I’ll always make sure your animal is comfortable with the way I am interacting with them and never push their limits. For cats - if they aren’t keen on humans, I won’t bother them. If they love attention and to play, I’ll be waving a little wand around immediately to get some of their energy out and giving them lots of love. For dogs - I will make sure they are comfortable and walked, and have gone out enough. I can take them to parks and play, or keep them separate from other animals depending on their personality!
“Emily is great! I had contacted her last minute about watching my two cats, and they both loved her! She was able to play with them and make them feel comfortable and cared for (even the one is is very shy and normally won’t come out for anyone she doesn’t know!) I will definitely be contacting Emily when I need someone to watch my pets :)”

About: I have experience with dogs of all sizes and ages. I can walk fast or take it easy and give medications orally or injections. I'll adapt to meet your dog's needs! Currently I have a Border Collie/Pit at home that I love and cherish. Excited to meet your pup(s)! I do not have a full time job so my schedule is very flexible! If I am pet sitting, I will be sure to feed and medicate dogs according to their established routine.
“Hillary is very patient and is doing great with our nervous poodle puppy. She clearly knows how to build trust with anxious dogs. It feels good to not have to worry about our pup when he’s with Hillary.”

About: I’ve been around dogs most my life but I’ve been a dog sitter for about a decade and 5ish years on Rover. I have one dog named Spud who gets along well with others. If boarding or dog walking, I will likely try to meet and greet to see if Spud gets along with your dog unless you specify otherwse I work full-time, but I’m remote and work-from-home. So I have plenty of time during the day to sneak out for a walk around the neighborhood, or to let a dog out to go potty! My apartment is a little cozy, but I am active so I would love to take the dog on a long walks around City Park and Congress Park so they get plenty of exercise and play time!
The median cost per visit for dog sitting in Glendale is $20

Samuel was great! Highly recommended, he had great communication and asked good questions, made me feel comfortable right away. He's obviously very fimilar and comfortable around dogs. My Archie is bit crazy but a sweetie, and he warmed up very quickly to Samuel for his visit. I can tell from the photos he had a BLAST! Thank so much!

Lara is absolutely fantastic. She communicates promptly, takes all the pics, and is reliable! You can tell she really cares and loves your pup like her own and that is very important to me! Definitely will book with her again. This was my first experience with a Rover sitter and I can’t recommend her enough! Thank you Lara!

India was wonderful! She did a drop-in visit for a recent evening event and was reliable, communicative, and very easy to work with. I appreciated the updates and felt comfortable knowing everything was taken care of while I was away. I would absolutely recommend India and would be happy to book with her again.

Rachel is great with Olive! She is very communicative, sends lots of photos and spends time walking and playing with Olive. She has done a couple of drop in visits and I will definitely continue to book her in the future :) I definitely recommend Rachel to take care of your fur baby!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Glendale with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
