Pet care experience
I recently had to say goodbye to both of my dogs due to age-related issues, and I’m still adjusting to a quieter home and life without them. While I’m not ready to get another dog of my own just yet, I’d love the opportunity to care for yours while you’re away. I work from home when I’m not traveling internationally for work, which allows me to provide attentive and consistent care. I understand how stressful it can be to leave your pets with someone new—I’ve had both wonderful and not-so-great experiences with sitters myself—so I truly value building trust and giving you peace of mind. I’m comfortable caring for: * Shy or slow-to-warm-up dogs * Reactive dogs * Dogs with medical needs, including administering medications and insulin My home has a fenced-in backyard, or I’m happy to house-sit if your pet is more comfortable staying in their own environment. I also offer cat sitting in your home (my house may not be the best fit for cats due to living on an active street). I’d love to meet beforehand to make sure I’m a great fit for you and your pets! Adria was great! She dropped in on my guy, Zander, let him outside and fed him. I had a last minute ask to drop in an extra time and she was flexible and very responsive. Would book again!

I can’t recommend Ellie (Adria) enough. As someone who has trusted her with animals for years, I’ve seen firsthand the level of love, patience, and care she gives every pet she meets. She spent the last 17½ years caring for her own dogs and has experience with everything from senior dogs and special-needs pets to dogs with behavioral challenges who need extra patience and understanding. She doesn’t just feed and walk dogs, she pays attention to their routines, their personalities, and the little things that help them feel safe and comfortable. One of the things I admire most about her is that she truly understands what it’s like to leave your pet in someone else’s care. She knows how much trust that takes, and she treats every animal as if they were her own.
