“Mary did a lovely job taking care of Kitten and sharing daily updates and photos. It was great to know Kitten was in such good hands while I was out of town. Would definitely recommend Mary for any pet sitting needs and will book again!”

About: For decades I have taken care of pets for friends/family and now I am looking to extend this for others. I love to be able to provide people with peace in knowing their beloved animals are being taken care of while the pets get to stay in their familiar place of home. I want you to be able to enjoy your vacation or spend your energy and focuses where it needs to be while you can't be home for your beloved animals. So it's important for me to make sure your pets are so well cared for while you can't be there. I am respectful of your space and leave it in same condition when I leave at the end of the stay. I work part-time (Wed-Sat) and half of that is virtual and big time gaps between meetings. The longest consistent gap that I am away would be one day a week (Fridays) when I'm in the office from 9-4. I would stay in your home so the pet(s) are not too disrupted by change while their human(s) are away. I would make sure they have ample time outside.
About: I’ve owned a number of dogs in my life, from chihuahuas to bull terriers to Shih Tzus. I’ve never had children, so dogs are my life and they bring me so much joy. I have a huge fenced in back yard, but dogs are welcome to sleep in bed with me at night. I like to take long walks in the mornings and evenings and would love a companion. I’m very active, but can adapt to your dog’s needs. I have a fenced in large yard with lots of grass. I can have the dog crated or the dog can sleep on my bed. Whichever is preferred.
About: Hey! I'm Molly, a compassionate NICU RN and animal lover. For 15 years, I was the proud mom of a beloved dog, navigating everything from the energetic puppy years to the gentle, specialized care required in their senior stage. Living here in Lakewood, I love taking advantage of our beautiful local parks, and I would love to keep your furry family member safe, active, and thoroughly loved while you are away. I have a schedule that varies but I am able to move shifts around if necessary. Just let me know what you need and we can figure something out! I have a two-bedroom townhouse with a doggy door and a fenced in deck with access to potty spots, turf and trees with squirrel entertainment.
“Jennah did a fantastic job caring for my babies while I was away. She was communicative, attentive, and loving to my animals. I greatly appreciated everything that she did and would definitely hire her again when the need arises.”

About: Experienced with and love helping 1,2,3 pet households and catering to each pet’s needs. Have cared for elderly dogs and cats, and diabetic cats. I’m comfortable with large dogs and if your dog wants, they can get a robust hike or walk, or a nice walk in the neighborhood. Also a trained wrangler for horse care (yes, equine), and experience with chickens and other small stock. I work 50-50 in office and from home and can be flexible with my schedule for weekend or weekday needs. Open to last minute requests. This is a chill home environment and if they are able and willing, dogs will be walked or hiked or get the run of the backyard. At your house, I am respectful and go the extra mile
About: Hi, I’m Deserea! Animals truly are the light of my life, and I’d be thrilled to welcome your furry friend into our home. I have a sweet Goldendoodle who’s 3 years old and absolutely loves making new friends. My daughter, who’s in third grade, is just as dog obsessed as I am. she’s always ready to play, cuddle, and give extra love. We live near a dog park, so daily walks and fun outings are part of our routine. Our fenced-in yard gives pups plenty of safe space to play and relax. I also have a flexible schedule, so I can accommodate pets with specific routines, special needs, or medication requirements. When your pet is with us, they’re not just being cared for—they’re part of the family. I’ll make sure they feel loved, safe, and happy every step of the way! I work on different projects during the day so available & flexible with my schedule. I am able to come check on animals and go for walks if needed throughout the day. We love belly rubs and cookies/ treats in this house!!! I love talking to my kiddos! Yours will just become part of the pack!! I pay close attention to schedules if needed throughout the day for medications and etc
“Amanda was wonderful, and she let me know how they were doing daily, from the pictures that she shared my dogs were living their best life. They are a little needy so thank you so much Amanda for taking such great care of them!”

“Jinia saved us by being available for Oreo last minute and she is awesome! On time. Reliable and took care of our boy. Thank you so much and excited to be able to have you over again. 😻”

“Terri did an afternoon drop-in, after a meet & greet with our pups. She was on-time, thorough, & communicative. We so appreciate her as part of our care team when we’re away from home.”

“Lauren is incredible, she just watched Dax again and handled everything perfectly. A couple months ago we were planning on traveling and got sick so we stayed home. Lauren canceled so there would be no charge to us. She is a saint”

About: I love all living creatures with a passion. I take care of a ~10 y/o and 2 y/o dog. I have saved my older dog from choking once and you can rest assured that if anything bad were to ever happen I would take action IMMEDIATELY. I am very keen on dog behavior which allows me to ensure they are always happy and comfortable. I love to stop and admire the little things, so if your dog loves to sniff then we will have the best walks! Pet care is a constant in my life. I have two dogs at home and we go on 2 long walks a day, with the occasional shorter potty breaks and sniff sessions in between. We love to go on hikes, go the dog park, and walk bear creek trail that happens to be located right behind my apartment. Although I don’t have a yard, I do have access to bear creek trail located right behind my apartment. I can easily crate any animals that may need it, and I have a very spacious apartment with a patio my dogs love to sunbathe on.

About: I've watched pets on and off since I was an adolescent. I am a go-to for my family, watching several dogs. In my teens and 20's I would house sit the pets of relatives. I will be working around my schedule, providing availability mornings and late afternoons. I am also available weekends. I commute for work throughout the front range corridor and flexible in the areas west and north of Lakewood. I can be available to drop in on pets, whether walking or just dropping in. In either scenario, we can meet and make sure you and your cat/dog are comfortable. I am comfortable walking small and medium-large dogs. I am also comfortable with returning the dog/puppy to their crate or preferred area.
“Thank you so much again. I really appreciate that you got the bun some carrots and pee pads when we ran out! It also was really cool of you to drop in twice. We always hate leaving our animals, but I felt they were very well taken of.”

“We love Alyssa. She is great with our cat who really doesn’t like anyone. She even helps out and waters our plants. She is also very easy to communicate with and quick to respond. I highly recommend her!”

Kathleen is truly amazing. Our family was out of town for 10 days. We have 2 dogs and 2 cats and 1 of our dogs is a special needs dog. Not once did I worry about them because they were in great hands. I loved the photos she sent and she gave us updates on how things were going. I really hope we can have her take care of them again. Thank you so much!
Courtney is great. Will continue to hire her. She is sweet and gentle to my olive and olive gets excited to see her. Courtney was also agreeable and flexible to extend our booking when we had a flight delay but we ended up not needing to this time. Highly recommend!

Aubrey is the best! She took great care of our 7 month old puppy between walks if it was cool enough and play time inside if it was too hot. We could tell how much Cali loves when Aubrey comes to visit her. Aubrey's communication is fantastic and above and beyond (even dealing with some of my brain fog from jet lag while I was out of the country with poise and compassion). HIGHLY recommend Aubrey if she is available!

Laney was amazing with our two pups! We had excellent communication, prompt responses and kept us updated with her visits. We LOVED the pictures she sent of our boys playing. Our dogs are big and she did an amazing job with them. Theyre so so happy and cant wait to see her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
