“Amber & Chris were fantastic. They took great care of our Finn and Theo while we were gone for a long weekend. Both of our boys need a bit more attention than other dogs, but Amber & Chris had no issues with that. We can tell that they were well loved and we really appreciated the daily updates and photos. We’d definitely book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone!”

“Kelli and Larkin were the best dog sitters we could have asked for. I felt so comfortable knowing that our dog was in a loving and caring home. Kelli and Larkin are so dedicated to ensuring that the dogs they care for feel at home and comfy. They sent so many pictures and always sent updates on how our dog was doing which we absolutely loved. He enjoyed his long walks, tug of war, and all the cuddles! We are so happy to have found them and I know our dog was too :)”

“Incredible experience!!! Kim and her family were so kind, communicative and have an incredible home for watching dogs. I could tell my pup had the best time and was extremely well cared for. Would absolutely love to use them again in the future!!”

“Betty and Bandit had such a great time with Katie and Bob! Katie sent daily updates with photos of their adventures. Our dogs loved the backyard and the walks they went on. Katie was very attentive and understanding of our dogs needs and even did some basic training with them. Highly recommend!”

“Grady and Tanutra were amazing!! They provided regular updates for our dog during the entire stay and regularly sent photos. The process was super easy and they were incredibly accommodating!”

“Dana and family continues to be an absolute rock for my dog Gus when we go out of town. She’s flexible, caring, updates us everyday, and he genuinely gets so excited to see her everytime we drop him off. 10/10 for this Rover 🩷🐾”

“Susan was beyond amazing. I have a sweet 4-year-old Pomeranian named Thor who has separation anxiety. I traveled to Southeast Asia for a couple of weeks for family reasons, and this was the longest we’d ever been apart since I got him at 8 weeks old. Leaving him was incredibly difficult, and I had a lot of concerns about how he would handle being away from me. Susan was patient, understanding, and truly went above and beyond in helping Thor transition. She supported him with eating, socialization, and most importantly, helped him feel safe and loved. She was also incredibly kind and compassionate toward me, understanding how hard it was to be away from Thor for such a long time. We communicated regularly, and she sent photos and updates even though I was on the other side of the planet. She was also very understanding when unexpected travel issues came up. Thor had the opportunity to be around other dogs in a safe, structured, and loving environment, and Susan put so much care and intention into every phase of his adjustment. When I picked him up after two weeks, he was happy, calm, and there have been no behavioral challenges since coming home. I truly can’t say enough wonderful things about having “Aunty” Susan as Thor’s caretaker.”

“Cindy was absolutely great! She was easy to coordinate with and sent me daily pictures of my dog taking walks. It was really nice to know that my dog was happy and getting exercise. I'd absolutely leave Ginger with Cindy again and would recommend her whole heartedly!”

“Janet is a wonderful pet sitter -- she has a warm, welcoming home and the whole family participates in keeping our puppy happy and healthy. She was very flexible with our schedule and our dog seemed very happy when we picked him up! We will definitely book with her again.”
“Ally and Ben were awesome when I had to leave my dog for a long stay. They sent me daily updates and treated her like she was their own. Would definitely recommend using them and I will be using them in the future!”

“Highly recommend Cassandra! We had a long-term stay need and felt very comfortable with the level of communication and how easy it looked like our dog was getting along. She took great care of our pup, and we would certainly recommend and hope to book again when needed!”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs for 20 years! I have experience with all ages, from puppies to senior dogs. I can help continue training while you’re away, whether that’s with potty training or general commands. I am also experienced in giving all kinds of medication, including injections. Your pups will be allowed to snuggle up on the furniture, roam the apartment freely, and no need to crate (unless that’s your preference). Long morning and evening walks during the hot summer and indoor play time to prevent overheating. I typically work 8-3:30, with flexibility depending on your needs. I also have a dog hammock for the car to keep them safe if we have to go anywhere. I love to take puppy pics, so you will get tons of updates! I will love and care for your babies as if they’re my own. I currently work about 6 hours a day in office, and am home in the morning and evening for plenty of walks, snuggles, and play time! I live in an apartment near plenty of green space within close walking distance. I like to take doggies on 4-5 walks a day depending on their needs. Water stations in every room, lots of snuggles, plenty of toys in stock for playtime.

“Shakti was wonderful with our pups. It was clear they made themselves right at home. She provided updates both in written and photo form. Shakti put my mind at ease while traveling as I knew my dogs were not only in great hands but were being treated with love. I highly recommend her.”

“A great experience, our pup "Duke" loved the easy life on the cozy couch and in the fenced in yard. He also made a new puppy companion and we got all the snuggle pics to prove it. Jacquelyn was super helpful and asked all the right questions during our meet and greet. She also saved our tails when we put in a last minute request for a stay over the holiday weekend!”
“Daniela is a great sitter and I recommend her due to her positivity and love for animals! Upon first greeting you can truly tell she loves animals and your pet will be in good hands and she will treat them like one of her own. I will definitely be booking Daniela for future travels if I need someone to keep Riley entertained. As her profile states “doggy retreat” which is true as the dog will be entertained the whole stay and you will get constant photos and videos of the adventures knowing your animal is in good hands! There is a difference someone just “watching” your animals and someone being a care taker for your dog. Daniela is definitely a care taker and treats your animal like one of her own! Highly recommend”

“Olivia, Ryan, and Archie were the absolute best! They were attentive, sent photos and videos every day without me asking, and my pup came home ready for a big nap from all the fun he had. I couldn’t recommend Olivia and Ryan more. We will certainly be back!!”

“My dog Bear had such a wonderful stay with Holly and her son. They took special care of him given his extreme fear of thunderstorms and fireworks. I don’t think he wanted to leave! Highly recommend Holly to anyone needing a petsitter for an sensitive animal.”

“Neill took such good care of our dog when we boarded with him for a long weekend! He has a great big yard for the dogs to hang out in and he sent so many pictures and updates throughout the weekend. Will definitely board with him again!”

Cassandra was fantastic with our Velcro dog, Poppy! She was so flexible - from doing an initial meet & greet, to being understanding when my travel got delayed. Easy to communicate with, sent us updates and we trusted her instantly. Definitely will book again, highly recommend!

Stephanie was awesome. As someone who's had issues finding a dog sitter who I can leave my girl wit, she checks all the boxes! She has a great dog lover personality and you can tell she's well-versed in caring for animals. I was able to enjoy my time off knowing that my dog was in good hands. She is easy to reach out to during your dogs visit and kept me updated on my dog's stay regularly. It made me feel like my girl was being well-taken care of the whole time 🫶

Chad was awesome! He's very quick to respond as well as flexible and accomadating to my last minute booking. He kept me updated everyday with photos and comments on how she was doing. I felt very confident my dog was happy and very well card for. I will definitely be rebooking with Chad!

Katie took amazing care of my 2 Bernadoodles. She took them on hike in a new location everyday! I could tell from the daily pics she sent that my dogs were feeling at home snuggling with her. She spent a generous amount of time at the meet and greet to make sure she knew everything she needed to know to provide them the best care. She even reorganized some of her belongings so my anxious pup wouldn’t chew on things. Her house is clean and calm with a beautiful yard on a quiet street. She will take great care of your pets!

I can't thank Sierra enough! We had a longer stay originally planned, but I ran into an issue and had to modify the booking. She didn't hesitate at all to accommodate the change and was so understanding. Throughout the time she watched my dogs, she kept me updated with constant photos and reports. It was my first time using her service, and I know without a doubt that if I ever need someone to watch my dogs again, I'll be calling her. Highly recommended!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
