“Sarah took fantastic care of my dog, Wally! She was super responsive and sent me daily updates of Wally having a blast playing with her pup, Spruce. I would definitely leave wally with Sarah again.”

“Nick watched our mini golden doodle, Luna, for a few nights. He was great with her and has his house set up perfectly for small dogs. I highly recommend Nick!”

“Mariah loves cats—it really shows! Our cat has a unique personality, and she knew exactly how to adapt to him and appreciate his charms, sending us messages and photos that really showed him off. He also certainly enjoyed snuggling up in the soft cushions and blankets in her apartment, as well as watching the squirrels and birds on the big tree nearby from the window and playing with the cat games she got. I recommend her 100%!”

“Anna took incredibly good care of our pup Oreo. She gave lengthy updates and let us know exactly what Oreo was up to and how she was doing!! We received so many pictures over just a weekend and it was so reassuring. We felt completely confident knowing she was in her care and would definitely book with her again!”

“Liz was incredibly kind and great with Radar. She kept me well informed and was extremely flexible. Would definitely recommend Liz and would use her again!”

“Neo stayed with Samantha for a week, and it was the first time in a couple years that he stayed with a new sitter so I was very anxious and nervous. However, Samantha was extremely accommodating. She was also understanding when it came to Neo’s separation anxiety. She answered all my questions prior to me booing, and was patient to wait for me to actually book. She sent me updates everyday which put my mind at ease. That was greatly appreciated and one of the most important things I look for in a sitter- communication and updates. Neo was having a great time with Sam and her husband and I am so thankful we found them ? 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a good quality sitter who will also keep in touch with the owner and be flexible”

“Angelica was very nice and friendly, easy to talk with and easy to reach for any updates. My wife and I went out of town for a week and we received a dozen or more photos of our boy and felt comfortable knowing he was in good hands. Will definitely reach out again when the time comes to have someone watch our dog. Gracias, Angelica!”

About: There’s no animal I won’t love. I’ll make sure your kiddo is always a happy wiggly butt before I leave. All types of animals have always been apart of my family and I have regular clients off of Rover that can give references. From the easiest kiddos to the wild and crazy ones, I can handle them. I work from home! My schedule is extremely flexible, making it easy to get you scheduled and am available for a short notice need also. I am also available for regular weekly walks. I’ve had 4 clients that I have walked for 4 years at a time multiple days every week. Whether you have a fenced in yard and your fury kid just needs some play time or they need a long/short walk, I’m your guy. I’ve lived in houses with plenty space in the back yard and apartments that don’t have much space, so I know what it’s like to have to find ways to get your kiddos the exercise and playtime they need. My Great Dane/lab mix would vouch for me :) I’ll make sure regardless the environment that your kiddo is safe and happy. I also have plenty experience taking care of cats through rover and for friends. I have one of my own so I understand their needs. I love playing with cats and giving them extra lovings.
“Jessica was amazing with my dog Luna! She sent me pictures every day and treated Luna like her own dog. Luna had a blast with her two pups and came home very tired and happy! Will definitely be using Jessica again :)”

“Amanda is an amazing dog sitter!! Very flexible, communicative, and reliable. She stayed with my pup during her first 4th of July while I worked and provided all the love and care that she needed during the fireworks. 10/10!”

“I can't rave about Kelli & Larkin enough!!! My big guy had the best vacation at their home where he got several walks, so much attention and loves, and even homemade treats! Kelli was in constant communication with me sending me updates and pictures all day long ? It was so comforting knowing he was in such good hands with Kelli and Larkin! THANK YOU!”

“Christine and Adam were absolutely wonderful with Otis! This was our first time using Rover, and they made the entire experience easy and stress-free. They have a fantastic home for dogs, with plenty of comfortable places to relax, lots of room to roam, and everything needed for overnight stays, including kennels of all sizes. It’s obvious they genuinely love animals, and that gave us a lot of confidence while we were away. Before the stay, they took the time to meet with us so we could make sure their very sweet dog and Otis got along, which we really appreciated. Throughout the stay, they communicated exceptionally well and sent lots of photos and updates, so we always knew Otis was happy and well cared for. They’re also very friendly and conveniently close to our house. We wouldn’t hesitate to have Christine and Adam watch Otis again, and we highly recommend them to anyone looking for caring, trustworthy sitters.”

“Wow she was very sweet, on time for meeting and drop off everything thing was very smooth, alway responded quickly for check in, I will definitely use Jess again and Blu enjoyed his stay with her and family.”

“Kani was very nice and reassuring, sent me daily updates with many great photos of my Roxy. She clearly had a really good time and was happy and content. Definitely trust Kani with Roxy again!”

“Anne and her family were wonderful from the the initial meeting, communication before and during the trip, the many unpromted updates on my dog's adventures during her staycation, and just generally a true pleasure to work with! The house and yard are great, they have two dogs who are quite comfortable and accomidating with new and visiting pets, and once you meet with her family I have no doubt you'll feel very secure leaving your special pup with Anne and her family. Can't say enough, but they will be my first call in the future!”

“Gloria is wonderful! She took such excellent care of Finn and kept us updated on their adventures with plenty of pictures that totally brightened our day while we were away from our little buddy. We highly recommend her and would love to have her watch Finn again. Her pup Bruno is so sweet and mild-mannered, the pictures of Finn and Bruno cuddling were adorable. And thank you so much for the super sweet note and adorable gift for Finn!”

“I can't recommend Jacquie enough! She is by far the best dog sitter I have had yet :) She went above and beyond while caring for my sweet Meadow and made the entire experience completely stress free. She was incredibly communicative and she sent multiple updates and photos every day so I always knew my baby girl was happy and well cared for. They had so much fun together going on adventures! One of the sweetest surprises was that she sent me a happy birthday message from my dog, complete with a tiny party hat ahhhhhhh it absolutely made my day! It was such a thoughtful, personal touch that showed how much she genuinely cares. I felt so comfortable knowing my sweet Meadow was in such great hands and it's clear she treats every pet like her own. I would 100% book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing, trustworthy, and caring Rover sitter!”

We cannot recommend Emily enough! She was amazing with our shy pup, showing so much sweetness and a genuine love for dogs. Watching them bond gave us total peace of mind. Right from the start, we could tell she was in excellent hands. Getting consistent updates and hilarious pictures throughout the week was the best part. We will absolutely be boarding with her again!

We had the pleasure of having Rachel and Rob watch our little Katie again, and we couldn’t be happier! Katie is usually attached to just me and my boyfriend, so it says a lot that she warmed up to them so quickly. From all the photos and updates they sent, it was easy to see how happy, comfortable, and well cared for she was. I always try to bring Katie with me when I travel, but when that’s not possible, Rachel and Rob are always my first choice. Knowing she’s in such loving and trustworthy hands gives us complete peace of mind. We can’t recommend them enough.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
