About: I have experience caring for both dogs and cats with a wide range of personalities, ages, and energy levels. I prioritize safety, consistency, and communication, and I strive to provide dependable, personalized care that helps every pet feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for while their family is away. I work full-time in the afternoons and evenings, which means my mornings are dedicated to pet care. Morning walks, drop-in visits, breakfast routines, and quality one-on-one attention are when I can give your pet my full focus. On my days off, I have additional flexibility to accommodate your family's needs. At this time, I don't offer care in my home because I have pets of my own. However, I'm happy to travel within a reasonable distance to provide attentive care for your pet in the comfort of their own home.
“Mary did a lovely job taking care of Kitten and sharing daily updates and photos. It was great to know Kitten was in such good hands while I was out of town. Would definitely recommend Mary for any pet sitting needs and will book again!”

“Sean was super communicative and made sure my pup was well taken care of, especially considering the high temperatures! Will definitely book him to walk or drop by my pup again!”

About: I've always taken care of my family's pets even as a kid, I was the feeder, walker, playmate and pooper scooper. I've always had a natural affinity for animals, especially dogs and they seem drawn to me because they know I'll play and love on them. Thank you for taking the time to consider me for taking care of your pets needs. I work part time at a t-shirt printing press shop, while I love it I don't get many hours, I wanted a job I would enjoy, but have a flexible enough schedule to meet my needs. Unfortunately I won't be doing in home care for anyone's pets, as I don't have the ability in my current place to accommodate that service nor do overnight or check ins at clients homes. My apologies for the inconvenience, I would be open to doing these services in the future, but right now it's not feasible. I appreciate you being understanding at this time.
“Hannah was incredible!! She took amazing care of my cat and left my house spotless - did the dishes she uses and took out my trash! She goes above and beyond and really does take great care of my olive while I am away. She is my go to cat sitter and hightlu highly recommend!!”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and three and a half years ago rescued a dog while I was living in Panamá. She was malnourished, dangerously underweight, and had bladder stones, and three days later I found out she also had distemper. 😭 After three intense months of medical intervention, force feeding, and alternative therapies, she finally turned a corner, and I am happy to report she is as healthy (and spoiled!) as ever! This experience gave me a serious crash course in caring for dogs with special needs, let me tell you! I am highly empathetic, patient, and comfortable administering medicine to dogs. I work from home and will be very attentive to the dog's needs. We go on a morning walk, midday walk, and after work walk. If the dog needs more outdoor time, they're welcome to hang in the fully fenced-in front or backyard, but also plenty of room indoors for activities. The dogs are my primary priority and I can ensure they will receive lots of love & care! I have one dog, Dot, who loves to play with others and would very much like some company :) I will set up a meet and greet ahead of your first visit to ensure your dog(s) get along with Dot. This is nonnegotiable as her safety is my priority. She is very chill, docile, and gets along with most dogs, so if your dog is the same then it won’t be an issue. I typically host the meet and greet at my home so you can see where your dog(s) will be staying, but if you would prefer we meet at a park instead I am happy to do that as well. I do occasionally (although not always) watch several dogs at a time, so if it is important to you that your dog be the only dog under my care please know there is a surcharge of $60/night. All dogs I care for are meticulously vetted, and for this reason I need your utmost transparency and honesty about how your dog *actually* is with other dogs, for my safety, my dog’s safety, and the safety of your dog(s). I appreciate your understanding!
“Jackie is so lovely and took incredible care of our cat! She stayed in regular communication with us and gave our very needy boy lots of attention while we were gone. Could not recommend her enough and will definitely book with her again!”

“Emily was amazing! She took care of my cat & dog while we were away for a wedding - super responsive & shared the cutest photos, was mindful of the heat for dog walks, and generally took such great care of my babies! Will definitely rebook next time I’m in need of pet care”

“I just moved to town recently and didn’t have anyone to watch my cat while I traveled for work. Victoria was absolutely a life saver and was such a wonderful sitter. I’ll definitely be hiring her for future trips.”

“Chris did a great job taking care of my two cats. He played with my kitten tons! My place was in good shape on my return home. Looking forward to having Chris as a sitter again.”

“Justin took great care of my dog while I was away for almost two weeks. He is extremely trustworthy and sent tons of photos and updates. I would certainly use him again!”

“Brookelyn did an amazing job taking care of our cats while we were out of town. She was caring, attentive, communicative, and even got our shy/grumpy one to immediately warm up to her. We will definitely use Brookelyn again if she's available and recommend her to anyone who needs a sitter.”

“Josie was communicative and my cat loved having her come by! She even cleaned up after Coco which was so nice to come home and not have to go straight to cleaning. Would definitely book Josie again!”

About: I’ve had many opportunities to pet sit other’s dogs and well as my own. I grew up with a rescue border collie and now my family has a black lab which I adore! Most recently my boyfriend just got the cutest cavapoo puppy which I help take care of quite often! I work full time 9-5, so I’m available in the evenings as well as on the weekends! Saturdays and Sundays I’m almost always am free to watch over your pup! I have a small studio but the apartment complex is very dog friendly with multiple courtyards to walk pets around in. I do not own any other pets but either watching them at mine or at your house would be great!

If booking with Diego is ever an option for you DO IT!!! He is incredibly patient and kind with our nervous guy Stanley. His reports from his drop-ins are detailed and include so many photos of Stanley enjoying his time with his buddy Diego. We couldn’t be happier with the service Diego provides ❤️

Olivia was absolutely wonderful with Yasmine! I loved how detailed she was with every visit - the notes, the photos, the walk maps, all of it. It’s so reassuring to see exactly how your dog’s day went when you’re away. She clearly paid attention to the little things too, like noticing Yasmine still had food in her bowl from the night before and sitting with her to make sure she ate a good breakfast. The walks looked great and the photos captured how happy and comfortable Yasmine was. You can tell Olivia genuinely cares. Highly recommend and would book again in a heartbeat!

Meghan is such an stress-free and trustworthy option and exactly what we need when on vacation. We know our 2 cats and 2 dogs are taken care of and it helps us make the most of our time away. We extended these visits to an hour and it is totally worth the additional dollars / they love the walkie and extra playtime. We always go to Meghan first when we need pet care, she’s as good as it gets!!! 10/10

Isabella is amazing with Charlie. Her check ins give Charlie a break from his crate while I am out. She plays with him outside and when it gets too hot continues to play to get his puppy wiggles out. She send thoughtful text and pictures after visits that help my dog mom heart.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
