“Tierney is the best!! She is 100% reliable, a great communicator, and does an amazing job caring for my two dogs who are different ages and energy levels. My pups love her and I know they are safe and have a blast whenever she comes for a visit. She is warm, kind, a true professional and follows my (sometimes long and chaotic) instructions to a T. She always takes the cutest pictures too 😊 I'm so happy to have found Tierney!”
About: I have been taking care of dogs my whole life. I am familiar with all types and temperaments. We currently have a 6 yr old sheep-a-doodle who loves playing fetch. I'm currently looking for work and trying to occupy my days by doing some dog walks. Mornings and afternoons preferred during the week. Weekends I may be in the mountains. I let the dog go at their own pace. If they want to smell stuff, I let them. If they want to turn down that street, "why not!?"

About: Hi! I'm Alex, I’ve been around dogs and cats my entire life and have cared for animals ever since I was a baby. I have experience with both senior dogs and senior cats, and I understand the extra patience, comfort, and attention they may need. I love creating fun new games and activities to keep pets happy, engaged, and mentally stimulated while they’re in my care. Above all, I have a genuine passion for working with animals and making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. My schedule is currently unavailable on Monday and Tuesday mornings. However, I have open availability on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, as well as full availability throughout the weekends. I’m flexible during those times and happy to work with different schedules to provide reliable, attentive pet care to you and your family When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent and comfortable as possible. I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of exercise and playtime, and receive lots of attention and companionship. I also enjoy creating fun activities and games to keep them mentally stimulated and happy. I’m respectful of each client’s home and follow any specific care instructions closely, especially for senior pets or animals with unique needs.
About: I'm currently a dog trainer looking to get some more work in! I work with the smallest dogs to the biggest dogs. Happy to help with reactive or dogs with behavior problems :) After or before work during the week, and I am available most weekends. Happy to do long or short walks! Trails or in your neighborhood! I'm very used to adjusting to my clients needs and preferences! Crating, leashing, play time, and feeding routines are things I pay very close attention to detail to!
“Hilary, Did such a nice job caring for my three cats while I was away. Not only did she keep me updated on how things were going but she shared a photo of each feeding/care session. One of my elusive cats even came out for a photo op on the last day, which shows that they were starting to feel comfortable with her! - Tom”

“Jade is amazing! I needed someone in a pinch and she was super flexible to work with me and my pups. They love her so much! I’ve already rebooked her and will continue to do so.”

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life — more than 30 years of walking them, caring for them, and learning how to move at a pace that feels good for both of us. My own dogs, Louie and Phoebe, have taught me everything about pacing, energy, and reading a dog’s mood. My energy is steady and calm, and I bring that same grounded presence to every walk. Nothing rushed… just a gentle rhythm that helps your dog settle and gives you a moment to breathe. PearlWalk — calm, structured, burnout‑friendly dog walking. I’m available most of the day for walks, and I offer drop‑ins anytime before 3pm. My schedule is flexible, and I open extra availability on holiday weekends when people need a little more support. My walks fit naturally into my daily rhythm. I move at a slow, steady pace — the same one I use with my own dogs — so your pup gets calm, consistent exercise without any rushing. I keep a predictable routine for regulars, and once a month I send a simple “report card” with notes about your dog’s mood, pacing, and any little quirks I’ve noticed. I show up calm, steady, and regulated — which helps your dog feel safe right away. In your home, I follow your instructions exactly and keep things simple and predictable. I walk in the mornings and afternoons, choose shade‑first routes, bring water, and keep things regulated and grounded. It’s a gentle rhythm that supports your dog’s needs and gives you one less thing to think about.
“Ashley took great care of Daisy over the New Years Holiday! She kept us up to date on all her visits and provided photos and detailed notes. I would highly recommend her to anyone!”

“Lanae was great to work with - very responsive and helped me out last minute. I’d never had anyone do a drop in and appreciated all the pictures. Would definitely recommend!”

“Pilar was so communicative and Timber loved having her taking care of him. Her drop ins were on time and consistent. Although we were unable during the booking, she was independent and able to accommodate Timber’s needs. She was amazing!”

About: Lifelong pet lover and owner looking to make your dog feel at home while you’re away. We have 1 older dog and 2 friendly cats who get lots of attention and treats as we both work from home. Plenty of parks nearby and a fenced in backyard for potty breaks and exercise. I currently work from home full time and can let your dog out as needed for potty breaks. My dog, Chester, usually gets two walks a day and we can easily adapt to your dog’s routine. We have a 8 ft fenced yard where the dogs can be outside and supervised and pets are allowed on the furniture if they would like. We can easily modify based on your preferences.
About: I provide regular updates, photos, and communication so you always know how your pet is doing. I want you to feel at ease as you are away from your fur baby. I'm a soccer coach, so I'm available during the mornings, midday, and after my training. So my 80lbs GSD gets a lot of exercise because we're pretty much always together if I'm not traveling. I follow the instructions provided by the client very strictly in the home, and I'll ask about a walking partner; I do not go to dog parks.
About: I had a black lab/golden retriver growing up. When i moved out for college, my roommate had a dog that i would love on too. I work remotely in the mornings so i would love to have a sweet "coworker". I am able to watch dogs for over night stays. Depending how active the dog is, taking them for a walk around the neighborhood for new smells or letting them enjoy the sun in the backyard. I agree pets are allowed on furniture.

Chelsea did a wonderful job checking in on my 2 boys at a consistent time all week! They are both pretty skittish but warmed up to her quite a bit. I really appreciated her thorough updates and pictures while I was gone - I would definitely book Chelsea again in the future!

Nicole was absolutely fantastic with my two dogs (a 4-year-old Puggle and a 5-year-old German Shepherd) while we were away for five nights. It was such a relief to enjoy our trip knowing they were in such great hands. She went above and beyond with walks, feedings, and plenty of affection. She also kept me updated with wonderful photos throughout the stay—the dogs seemed so happy and relaxed that I joked they almost didn't want me to come home! I highly recommend Nicole to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and attentive sitter.

Robin stepped in for us when our usual Rover was out of town. She was communicative, came over for a meet and greet, and was happy to take care of our somewhat complicated crew. During her check-in, our senior pup had a medical emergency and Robin had no hesitation to spend extra time with her and take her to the emergency vet. We will absolutely use Robin again in the future!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Englewood with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
