“Our pup was comfortable with Stephanie from the start. She’s a clear dog lover, and helped keep our dog calm during the July 4th fireworks while we were out of town. Stephanie was always right on time and helped us stay up-to-date on our dog’s behavior with thoughtful reports and pictures. Thank you so much Stephanie!!”

About: I recently moved into a pet-less house and miss having furry friends around! I grew up with dogs and owned a dog in a previous relationship. We got him as a puppy and took him to obedience courses, including a course for reactive dogs. I also provided senior dog care for a previous roommate and overnight care for many friends and family members. I absolutely love dogs and would be honored to care for your pup. I work full-time on a hybrid schedule (generally at home M/W/F, in office Tues/Thurs). If I'm pet-sitting on Tues/Thurs, I will need to be away for about 8 hrs (although could potentially do a lunch-time potty break if your home is close to downtown). Apart from that, I can accomodate most scheduling requests. POLICIES: - Meet & greets are required with any new dog I'll be caring for. - I don't accept bookings more than 4 months in advance. I understand it can be difficult to leave your pet in someone else's care. I will strive to carefully follow directions, listen to your pup's needs, and do all I can to make them feel comfortable. My main reason for joining Rover is to connect with animals, so my priority is to provide excellent care.
“Jade was extremely communicative and took great care of our large dogs, will definitely be utilizing her again they were so happy and well cared for. Thank you Jade!!”

About: Born into an animal loving family, I’ve had cats, ferrets, and currently have two big handsome dogs! Experienced with all stages of life my boys are Monty (Great Pyrenees -1.5 years old) and Jaxson is my old man (collie mix -15 years old). I’m a corporate dog mom of two boys with some extra time on the weekends! My scheduled availability is week nights, weekends, and holidays. I have a 6ft tall fenced yard with cameras to keep everyone safe. I can also keep animals separated via my basement or even crate your fur baby if needed.
About: I have been taking care of dogs my whole life. I am familiar with all types and temperaments. We currently have a 6 yr old sheep-a-doodle who loves playing fetch. I'm currently looking for work and trying to occupy my days by doing some dog walks. Mornings and afternoons preferred during the week. Weekends I may be in the mountains. I let the dog go at their own pace. If they want to smell stuff, I let them. If they want to turn down that street, "why not!?"
About: I’ve been a dog lover for as long as I can remember and have been a dog mom to 5 of my own, in addition to a few fosters. I currently have 2 medium sized dogs, an Aussiedoodle and an Aussie/cattle dog mix. I’ve also had several large dogs and am comfortable with pups of all sizes. When I was an elementary school teacher, I often dog sat for friends and family on my breaks. This included helping with feedings, walks, outside/play time, and check ins throughout the day. I volunteered with a rescue in my hometown from 2016-2024 and am passionate about dogs. I am not currently working, so I have lots of downtime to help care for pets. I am an early riser and can provide care throughout the day and evening as needed. Because I have pets of my own, I am not able to provide overnight care at this time. I am conscientious and careful and appreciate clear instructions so that I can give the best care to your pet. As a pet parent, I know it can be hard to entrust their care to someone new, and I am adamant about providing a safe and loving environment.
“Kurtis was great! We appreciate that they were able to properly separate our dogs and that they were punctual even though we were flexible. Kurtis followed directions well. We will probably book Kurtis again in the future!”

“Hilary is an amazing pet sitter. She provides thorough and thoughtful updates for all 3 of our cats. She follows all care instructions and sends great pics with each update. We’re lucky we found her!”

“Grace is amazing! She had patience for my spicy kitty, was communicative and sent photos each check in which made me feel like she was in good hands. I would definitely recommend her!”

“Kirsten took the best care of my two kitties. She went above and beyond my expectations and left my apartment clean and my kitties happy. She took extra time to pet, brush, and play with the cats and kept me updated everyday with how things were going. Loved her and will be reaching out again!”

“I had a wonderful first experience with Charlotte watching my 6 month old lab. The check ins were great the pictures were a nice addition I look forward to using her again.”

“Abby was amazing. Paisley is generally skeptical of new people, so Abby came for a meet & greet and Paisley trusted her in the 1st 5 minutes! Abby sent photos or our babies every day and texted with questions when she had them (twice). We felt Paisley and Teddy were very well taken care of! We definitely recommend Abby!!!!”

About: I have been taking care of dogs & cats for 5 years and horses for all my life. Neighbors, trainers, and family have relied on me to take care of their pets. I have skill in giving medication, dealing with injuries, and giving special supplements if needed. I am very type A when it comes to doing a task right. And always strive to provide the best care for any pet! Free all day Monday- Tuesday. Also morning time on Wednesday. I am currently working at the salon noon on Wednesdays through Saturday. Schedule can fluctuate! I unfortunately cannot provide any services in my home. But how I would provide care in a clients home if it were to be an overnight situation, I will check on them as much as we agreed on. If your pet has separation anxiety, I will sit or play with them until they feel comfortable.
“Lanae was great to work with - very responsive and helped me out last minute. I’d never had anyone do a drop in and appreciated all the pictures. Would definitely recommend!”

“Currently my wife and I are at the beach and the only reason we are here able to relax is because of Daria. Before our trip Daria came by and went on a walk with me and our two dogs to discuss our expeditions and the routine our dogs are in. Keep in mind our dogs are spoiled and by the pictures Daria uploaded to the walk reports they are getting spoiled even more! If you are a dedicated dog owner I know it can be hard to trust someone to come to your house and provide the same love you give. Look no further. Daria is wonderful, professional, and confident in her abilities to prove exceptional service. This was our first time with rover since it was so hard for us to find someone trustworthy. Daria will be our go to now when we need to get away. We truly appreciate you Daria, thank you!”

About: I have cared for dogs since I was a teenager. Family friends have relied on me to pet sit for them. I grew up with Goldens and I have a 1 year old Goldendoodle so I’m used to big dogs and lots of energy! I have watched dogs aging from puppies to 13 years old. I am currently working full time but remote on some days and available on weekends. I love going on early morning walks with my dog prior to starting my work day and then again at the end of my day. I have a fenced in yard and a Goldendoodle. At others people homes, I follow their schedules and any rules around the house they have set for their pet (no furniture, no human food, etc.). If your home does not have a fenced in yard do not worry, your dog will be taken on plenty of walks!
About: I have been taking care of animals since I was 15 years old. I have watched dogs, big and small, old and young. I have been watching cats for about 4 years. I have experience with specialized care, including administering medication and re-dressing surgical areas. I have been around for the raising of puppies and kittens throughout my life. I am not available for boarding, although I can do overnights! I am flexible in regards to times and part-time or full-time jobs. I am a law student with a few breaks during the day and mostly free evenings. I am not available for boarding, although I can do overnights at your pets most comfortable location, your home! I am comfortable with longer stays as well.
About: My love for animals started at a young age, I was a vet tech throughout undergrad (and here and there over the years), I’ve professionally worked with exotic species, and now a nature guide. You name it, I’ve probably worked with them! I’m a lover of all beings and always treat/care for them compassionately. READ ME Service options I do not offer 24hr care. Non Business hours care ($60): Pet and home care requiring I stay in your home in the mornings, afternoons, and overnight. Leaving home occasionally, I work from home and would be generally available during 9-5. I’m a life long pet owner and animal lover, I will always be the most respectful and compassionate to your family and home. I live firmly by the saying “treat others the way you would like to be treated.”

Lisa is absolutely wonderful! My puppy Winston simply adores her and she goes above and beyond what I ask of her when she drops in on him. She's also very flexible with life stuff and is extremely kind and professional. I would absolutely recommend her service!

Kate was so wonderful! She helped us out with a last minute request and took excellent care of our dog. She sent great photos and kept us up to date on all of her visits. We really appreciated how sweet she was to our dog and us as well. She also helped keep our flowers alive during the very hot weather. We hope to use her again!!

Nicole was absolutely fantastic with my two dogs (a 4-year-old Puggle and a 5-year-old German Shepherd) while we were away for five nights. It was such a relief to enjoy our trip knowing they were in such great hands. She went above and beyond with walks, feedings, and plenty of affection. She also kept me updated with wonderful photos throughout the stay—the dogs seemed so happy and relaxed that I joked they almost didn't want me to come home! I highly recommend Nicole to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and attentive sitter.

Robin stepped in for us when our usual Rover was out of town. She was communicative, came over for a meet and greet, and was happy to take care of our somewhat complicated crew. During her check-in, our senior pup had a medical emergency and Robin had no hesitation to spend extra time with her and take her to the emergency vet. We will absolutely use Robin again in the future!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Englewood with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
