“We felt so much more at ease leaving our cat in Lauren’s care. Crumpet can be a little temperamental at times, but she warmed up to Lauren right away! When we got home, she was in great spirits and clearly well cared for. We will absolutely be asking Lauren to watch Crumpet again!”

“Ashlynn was super easy to work with. Prompt, reliable, professional, and very caring toward my kitties. I felt like they were in good hands. I will definitely ask her to sit for me again.”

“Our puppy got into some hand warmers that we mistakenly left within his reach, and we weren't sure if he ingested them. Shannah responded quickly and offered to take him to our vet to have him checked out. Fortunately, he was fine but it was great having the peace of mind that he was well cared for”

“Skylar was very accommodating and professional. Padme was in a great mood after hanging with Skylar and I recommend Skylar to anyone with dog related requests!”

About: I have taken care of my own family dog for 10 years since we have had her. Through that, I have gained trust of my neighbors to check on their dogs when they are out of town and it is so much fun! I love dogs and I truly think that providing pets with much needed exercise and while ensuring their safety and well-being while being home alone is the most important thing. I am dedicated to catering to any personalized care to pets of all ages! I am a senior in college moving home for the summer before I start physical therapy school in Des Moines Iowa! I am looking for a way to make some money doing what I love before I start school! I love dogs and I miss walking my own dog Roxie everyday! I think every dog should be loved and cared for! If you're caught up at work, let me take care of your furry friend :) I am willing to do anything your pet needs and I think it is very important to build trust with you as the owner as well! We all love our pets and it takes trust to allow someone else to care for it! I hope I can be that person for you. I love spending time with dogs and getting them some activity, walking, playing, and even just a friend during the day!

I have experience with old, young, aggressive and shy dogs! I can help with all your animal needs. I ask for two weeks notice for pet care because I am in school so I need advanced notice to make time for your lovely pet! I am available all day Tuesday and Thursday and all weekend. For Monday, Wednesday and Friday I am available 6 am or after 5 for walks or drop ins.
About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life — from cats, dogs, and birds to cows and farm animals. Growing up on a farm taught me how to truly understand their behavior and emotions. Animals naturally trust me, and I build a calm, safe connection with every pet I meet. I also have experience caring for senior pets and helping shy animals feel comfortable. Whether it’s walking, feeding, or just giving love, your pet will feel at home with me. Pet care easily fits into my weekly routine because I work part-time with a very flexible schedule. I always make time for walks and pet visits, both on weekdays and weekends. Spending time with animals is something I truly enjoy, so I often plan my days around it. Caring for pets isn’t just a task for me — it’s a relaxing and rewarding part of my routine. When I care for pets, I always follow their usual routine to help them feel safe and comfortable. I make sure they have fresh water, proper meals, playtime, and enough outdoor time if needed. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality — whether they need extra energy, gentle patience, or quiet company. If needed I will keep owners updated with photos and messages so they know their pets are happy and cared for.
About: I've been taking care of dogs and puppies since I was little! I had a 105 lb Old English Sheepdog, so I'm very comfortable with big and small dogs! I can go on long, intense walks with hyper puppers or slow, sniff every plant walks! I am currently a college student with a very free schedule! I frequently beg my friends and family to let me take care of their fuzzy friends, and I am available all the time! I do extensive research to make sure every pet has the best care! I follow directions about where pets are allowed to be within the home to make sure everything stays the same as you left it! There will be a lot of outside play time (if it's not too hot) as well as pets and snuggles. I will keep their routine going and make sure they stay happy and healthy!
“Kaitlyn has been a great help in taking care of Jake. She spends time with him and gives him the needed attention while I am away. The pictures show that he is really happy when she takes him for his walks.”
“Rose was so loving towards our dog. She was patient with him as he got to know her and responded to his needs. The summary she sent and the pictures she took assured us even further that our pup was in good hands and even enjoying his little staycation. A huge thank you to Rose. It was hard to leave our dog for an extended period for the first time, but her care made the process easier.”

“This was my second time hiring Raquel to watch my two fur babies & take care of my plants. She sent me daily photos of my cats & spent time playing with them. Her updates were through as well. The thing I like most about Raquel is that she doesn’t just drop in & leave, she truly cares about your pets & wants to make friends with them while you’re away. Many of the photos she sent were of her either playing, holding or cuddling my cats. I know my babies are well cared for when Raquel looks after them. I highly recommend hiring Raquel to look after your fur babies!”

“Amy was THE best! She truly went above and beyond to take extra care with our special needs senior. Anxiety exacerbates our pups illness and, thankfully, we had zero issues. I have no doubt that is a direct result of Amy's attention to detail in regards to our girl's needs.”

About: I am a first-year student in CSU’s Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program, and I love caring for animals! Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Highlands Ranch
Madeline was super pleasant and calm with my girl Zoey! She enjoyed long walks and seemed very happy upon my return from vacation her communication was amazing and always sent photos and updates while remaining very respectful! We will be using her again if she will have us!

Alexis was a fantastic sitter! She checked in on my bird, Smokey, for 2 weeks while we were on vacation. She shared daily reports cards and was excellent with communication. She also played some music for Smokey and spent time with her to make sure she was happy, which I appreciated! I would highly recommend her and will be requesting her again for future trips!

Rayne took amazing care of my pet and treated them like family and was reliable, communicative, and sent regular updates that gave me peace of mind. I would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, dependable pet sitter!

Skyler truly goes above and beyond! From the moment we did the meet and greet, I knew Dobby would be in the safest, kindest hands. We had a mix up during our drop in where my parents accidentally left a door locked that should not have been. Skyler stayed way beyond her scheduled time to ensure she got in and that our pup was okay and taken care of. I could not have asked for a better sitter

Aislyn was absolutely wonderful during her drop-in visit with our pups. From the moment she arrived, she was warm, engaging, and clearly has a natural connection with animals. Our Pomsky took to her right away, and the little one was warming up to her. Shiba Inus aren’t easily impressed 🙂 She was attentive, kind, and made sure they felt comfortable and cared for the entire time. It gave us real peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. You can tell she genuinely enjoys what she does, and it shows in the way she interacts with pets. We would happily trust Aislyn with our pups again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable, caring, and truly great with animals.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
