“Jenny has been so helpful in taking care of our pup Fenway when we are away from home for extended periods of time. She is reliable and sends wonderful photo updates!”

“Jennifer was wonderful! I loved the updates and photos from the check ins, the dogs seemed to enjoy her companionship while we were away. We look forward to our next booking ??”

“Steve is absolutely amazing with our pets! We've trusted him numerous times for drop-in visits while we're away — even for trips lasting up to 10 days — and he always goes above and beyond. He's consistently on time, incredibly reliable, and our pets adore him. We can't recommend Steve highly enough!!”

“Our cats loved Mélody! She is very reliable and I was happy to know our cats were being taken care of very well while we were gone. I will definitely book with her again!”

“Amy has been an absolute god send with our 10 month old, baby boy Jax! She has been so kind and shared her incredible vet tech knowledge with us while we help get Jax through some tummy issues. She is a great support in our efforts in helping Jax become a well-behaved dog and leaves great and detailed information from their check-ins. I hope to use Amy for our boy for as long as we can have her!! Amy is the best!!!!”

“Alexis was a fantastic sitter! She checked in on my bird, Smokey, for 2 weeks while we were on vacation. She shared daily reports cards and was excellent with communication. She also played some music for Smokey and spent time with her to make sure she was happy, which I appreciated! I would highly recommend her and will be requesting her again for future trips!”

“Ashley took great care of Daisy over the New Years Holiday! She kept us up to date on all her visits and provided photos and detailed notes. I would highly recommend her to anyone!”

“Lindsay was the best! She was so accommodating last minute including multiple schedule changes and she gave our two crazy big dogs so much love. I will for sure be using her in the future!”

“Aislyn was absolutely wonderful during her drop-in visit with our pups. From the moment she arrived, she was warm, engaging, and clearly has a natural connection with animals. Our Pomsky took to her right away, and the little one was warming up to her. Shiba Inus aren’t easily impressed 🙂 She was attentive, kind, and made sure they felt comfortable and cared for the entire time. It gave us real peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. You can tell she genuinely enjoys what she does, and it shows in the way she interacts with pets. We would happily trust Aislyn with our pups again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable, caring, and truly great with animals.”

“Laura is wonderful. She watched my two cats for a week and she was smart, reliable and caring. She really understands cats: she is a vet tech and has cats of her own. ( I’m sure she does beautifully with dogs too and she has dogs of her own as well but it’s harder for those of us with cats to find a sitter who understands cat language.) I highly recommend her and will hire her any time she is available to help!”

“100/10 Morgan is amazing! If you're looking for a new sitter, LOOK NO FURHTER. Morgan was punctual, super helpful, and extremely sweet with the fur babies. The girls immediately fell in love with Morgan, and I knew they were gonna be happy any time she's around. Morgan is literally the best. Thank you so so so much for your help. ❤️”

“Ion is an animal whisperer!!! All our pets (dog and 2 cats love him). He takes great care of them and gracefully follows very complicated medicine routines for one of our cats with a skin condition. Thank you, Ion!”
“We absolutely love Shari! This is the second time we’ve had the pleasure of having her care for our cat, and we couldn’t be happier. She gives us complete peace of mind while we travel, always staying on top of everything and proving to be incredibly reliable. Our cat, Chico, is quite spoiled, but Shari takes such wonderful care of him, making sure he feels loved and comfortable. We truly appreciate her dedication, and there’s no doubt—she is our go-to pet sitter from now on!”

“I think we were all very pleased with how the 2nd meeting went. At the first meeting Loki was interested and curious but slow in assessing Pam. At our second meeting, Pam and Loki played with one of Loki's favorite toys in the backyard while my husband and I stayed out of the way on the patio. It helped break the ice between them and then when we visited on the patio afterward Loki gravitated more to Pam and even let her pet him and he gave her some love. All very encouraging. We all agreed it would be helpful to schedule a few more similar sessions. It's a slow process but, this time was very encouraging. We really appreciate Pam's patience and gentleness with Loki.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Highlands Ranch
Alexis did a wonderful job on the drop ins for our two cats. One of our cats was even a little bit difficult with her at first but Alexis handled it with no problems. We asked that boxes be cleaned, food and water was filled and she stayed to give them some cuddles and pets. Over all everything went great. Would love to have Alexis help us again with our girls. Thank you so much.
Danielle and Jackson are amazing! They have a really calm energy which works well with our energetic pups and I have full confidence that they could handle anything our animals throw their way. There is an undeniable love of furry friends that underlines all that they do. Highly recommend! 💕✨

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
