“Melody was very good to Binx and sent us pictures and videos every day. We will certainly use her the next time we need a cat sitter and recommend her to our friends!”

“Steve was absolutely wonderful! He was able to help us out when we found ourselves without a sitter last minute. The dogs adored him and even our cat who historically shies away from strangers absolutely loved him. Would recommend him to anyone!”

“Jenny was an awesome sitter for my pup! When I met her I immediately felt comfortable having her watch my dog, and that was totally right - all her visits went great and she was very responsive and kind and we will definitely book with her again!”

“Alexis did wonderfully with Quinn while I was out during Thanksgiving, sending plenty of updates, pictures, and was very flexible with my travel schedule!”

“Amy has been an absolute god send with our 10 month old, baby boy Jax! She has been so kind and shared her incredible vet tech knowledge with us while we help get Jax through some tummy issues. She is a great support in our efforts in helping Jax become a well-behaved dog and leaves great and detailed information from their check-ins. I hope to use Amy for our boy for as long as we can have her!! Amy is the best!!!!”

“I highly recommend Laura to sit for your fur babies! She was great! My dog isn’t the easiest because she’s so shy and Laura was so patient and helpful. Really put my mind at ease!”

“Ashley was an amazing sitter to our 3 cats. She was super communicative throughout the entire visit and sent us tons of pictures and updates. She also cleaned up after our kitties who can be messy sometimes. We trust her fully and would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a reliable pet sitter!”

“Bailey was great with my dog Louie. It was the first time I had someone come do drop in visits and she made me very comfortable. She sent lots of photos and Louie seemed to do really well!”

“Skyler truly goes above and beyond! From the moment we did the meet and greet, I knew Dobby would be in the safest, kindest hands. We had a mix up during our drop in where my parents accidentally left a door locked that should not have been. Skyler stayed way beyond her scheduled time to ensure she got in and that our pup was okay and taken care of. I could not have asked for a better sitter”

“Our puppy got into some hand warmers that we mistakenly left within his reach, and we weren't sure if he ingested them. Shannah responded quickly and offered to take him to our vet to have him checked out. Fortunately, he was fine but it was great having the peace of mind that he was well cared for”

“Kacie was awesome! We reach out to Kacie on short notice to take care of our cat who needed antibiotics and other medical attention twice daily and she was very accommodating. She did a great job with our cat who I’m sure will miss her!”

“Jennifer was amazing to work with. Kept great communication and made everything easy for us. We felt really comfortable with her watching our pets. 10/10 would reccomend.”

“100/10 Morgan is amazing! If you're looking for a new sitter, LOOK NO FURHTER. Morgan was punctual, super helpful, and extremely sweet with the fur babies. The girls immediately fell in love with Morgan, and I knew they were gonna be happy any time she's around. Morgan is literally the best. Thank you so so so much for your help. ❤️”

“Peyton was so awesome! She took excellent care of my puppy and was very punctual and responsive. I so appreciate all of her help and everything she did to make sure my pup was happy and healthy!!”

“Lexie was super sweet and amazing with my pup! Her updates and photos were amazing and showed my pup was genuinely happy! Will definitely recommend and book again!!”

“Needed someone to take my dogs out while I was at work, and Sarah was fantastic! She was very patient with my anxious/timid dog which was much appreciated and was very accommodating to a changing schedule. Would recommend to anyone needing someone to look after their pups!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Highlands Ranch
Danielle and Jackson are the best! They took such good care of Zeus while we were away for the weekend. It was a short trip so we just had drop-ins, but Zeus still got plenty of walks, flippy time, hugs, and attention. The updates with pictures were fun to receive too! Zeus and his family highly recommend this sweet couple. 😊

Laura is wonderful. She watched my two cats for a week and she was smart, reliable and caring. She really understands cats: she is a vet tech and has cats of her own. ( I’m sure she does beautifully with dogs too and she has dogs of her own as well but it’s harder for those of us with cats to find a sitter who understands cat language.) I highly recommend her and will hire her any time she is available to help!

Lindsay was great for our two Frenchies who have never been left with anyone besides their “parents”. She is prompt, a great communicator, super flexible and most importantly she took great care of the pups (one also requires eye drops 3x a day). I would absolutely recommend Lindsay and will definitely try to book with her in the future. Thanks Lindsay!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
