“Highly recommend Alexandra! She is not only extremely kind and flexible, but she finds ways to go above and beyond in each visit. She has help make my Willow so confident with strangers with her consistent patience and gentle demeanor. Alexandra also communicates very promptly and throughly. Can’t wait to have her help out again!”

“Ashley was great! We enjoyed receiving regular updates and pictures. Our pets were treated great, and they aren't stressed as they usually are when we return from a trip.”

“Incredible cat care! I could not have asked for a better sitter. I was nervous to leave my cats home while I went away, but Nikki sent many photos and really showed that she was interacting/playing with my cats, which was super important to me. My cats warmed up to her in no time, even the shy one! I would book again in a heartbeat”

“I could not have a puppy without Morgan’s on going, dependably thoughtful and reliable visits. I feel 100% relaxed being away when Morgan makes a visit to see Darla, and Darla gets much more excited seeing Morgan come in than ME!”

“Nicole was great! Reliable, punctual and excellent communication. She always checked in and sent photos on her visits. My super shy cat even warmed up to her right away. We will definitely book her again!”

“Coral is amazing! Our cat is normally very cautious around people she doesn’t know but after the second time we had Coral check in on her, she was treating her like us and was very sweet and chatty.”

“Esmeralda stepped in at last minute’s notice to take care of my cats. Not only was her willingness to take my last minute job deeply appreciated, she went above and beyond in her service. She cleaned up any messes the cats made, watered the plants in the apartment, and sent great photos of the cats every day. They clearly loved visiting with her, which was evident in all of her photos! I would recommend Esmeralda to anybody.”

“Bailey did an amazing job taking care of Maisy! She was reliable and followed all my requests! Would definitely recommend Bailey to anyone in need of someone to watch their dog.”

“Thank you Erika!! Great communication and treated my pets with love and care! Followed all my instructions to a T, including giving my pets their medication, and gave them lots of snuggles! They were happy as could be when I got back from my trip. Erika is a top notch sitter, and I will definitely be hiring again! Thanks again!”

About: Hi there! 🐾 Dogs have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I loved them so much as a kid that by age 7, I was teaching myself how to potty train our dogs and work on basic commands using treats and positive reinforcement. What started as a childhood obsession has turned into a lifelong passion! Over the years, I've volunteered with several animal shelters, most recently helping with dog walks and special events at MaxFund in Denver. Those experiences gave me the opportunity to work with dogs of all ages, sizes, personalities, and backgrounds. I have a particular soft spot for senior dogs and pets with special needs, who often just need a little extra patience, understanding, and love. While I don't have a personal backyard, daily walks, park visits, and little adventures around Denver are a big part of life for me and my own senior pup, Sammy. I believe every dog deserves plenty of exercise, enrichment, attention, and affection. I've also cared for dozens of pets belonging to friends and family over the years, and I joined Rover because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and would love to do even more of it. Whether your pup is energetic and playful or prefers a slower pace and extra cuddles, I'll care for them as if they were my own. I can't wait to meet your furry family member! ❤️🐶 While I work full-time, I work from home most weekdays and have full availability on weekends, which allows me to spend plenty of quality time with the dogs in my care. I'm happy to accommodate pups with higher energy needs, but my typical routine includes three 30-minute walks throughout the day, along with lots of playtime, attention, and companionship. Of course, not every dog enjoys or is able to handle that level of activity. I'm especially comfortable caring for senior and special-needs dogs, and I'm happy to adapt walks, playtime, and enrichment activities to their individual needs, mobility, and energy level. I can also provide potty breaks as often as needed and have access to a dog run downstairs for supervised fetch, sniffing, and extra exercise. Whether your dog loves staying active or prefers a slower pace with cozy naps and gentle companionship, I do my best to tailor their care to their personality, routine, and comfort level so they feel safe, happy, and right at home My home is very much a "dogs are family" kind of place. Couch cuddles are welcome, treats are plentiful (with your approval of course!), and I love providing enrichment through puzzle toys, training games, sniff walks, and interactive play. I believe mental stimulation is just as important as physical exercise, and I enjoy finding fun ways to keep dogs engaged while making sure they feel safe, loved, and completely at home. 🐾❤️

“Aislyn was absolutely wonderful during her drop-in visit with our pups. From the moment she arrived, she was warm, engaging, and clearly has a natural connection with animals. Our Pomsky took to her right away, and the little one was warming up to her. Shiba Inus aren’t easily impressed 🙂 She was attentive, kind, and made sure they felt comfortable and cared for the entire time. It gave us real peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. You can tell she genuinely enjoys what she does, and it shows in the way she interacts with pets. We would happily trust Aislyn with our pups again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable, caring, and truly great with animals.”

“Ashley took great care of Daisy over the New Years Holiday! She kept us up to date on all her visits and provided photos and detailed notes. I would highly recommend her to anyone!”

“Julie is fabulous! She’s great at communicating and shows that she truly cares. She’s punctual and detailed in her report cards with many pictures. I would definitely recommend Julie to a friend or family member .”

“Sydney is a wonderful pet sitter. We are so thankful we found her on Rover and she was available to watch our Brewster. Sydney was so conscientious, very thorough, caring and went above and beyond. We would recommend her 100% and will definitely re-book her services in the future. Thank you Sydney, we appreciate you.”

“Laurie was amazing! Loved her detailed reports daily. I have a less than friendly cat & an elderly dog that needs meds twice a day. She was trustworthy & thorough. I will definitely be using her again!!”

“Courtney is the best. Extremely attentive and prompt in communicating with us. We trust her with our fur babies and are so grateful to have her with them when we’re away.”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
