About: I’ve been around dogs since I was 2 years old and absolutely love them all. I am very patient and flexible with all breeds and am willing to stay for as long as the dog needs because walks and visits are for THEM. I do not currently have a job, so I have plenty of tjme for walks and visits! I am still in school but will be done after May 7, so that will give me full availability. I am very reliable when it comes to following rules and am more than happy to abide and follow your pet’s routine if they have one!
“I am very grateful Katherine was able to walk my dog during the work day. She’s very punctual and easy to work with. She provided amazing updates on her services.”
About: Hi! I’m Esme, a huge animal lover and proud pet parent. I have a Mini American Shepherd named Kita, so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your furry family members. While I adore dogs, I’m also a big cat lover! Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles, chasing toys, or simply having someone keep them company while you’re away, I’m happy to provide the care and attention they deserve. I know every pet has their own unique personality, and I love taking the time to get to know them. From energetic pups to shy kitties, my goal is always to help your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’ll keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. I can’t wait to meet your furry family members and become their new bestie! 🐾💕 Animals are already a huge part of my life! As a dog mom to my Mini American Shepherd, Kita, pet care is built into my daily routine. My days are filled with walks, playtime, training, and lots of cuddles. I genuinely love spending time with animals, so caring for pets feels less like work and more like something I enjoy. Whether it’s a dog who loves adventure or a cat who just wants a quiet companion, I love getting to know each pet’s personality and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while their family is away. I believe pets are happiest when they can stick to the routines they’re familiar with, so I always try to follow their normal schedule as closely as possible. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, I’ll make sure they receive plenty of attention, playtime, exercise, fresh water, meals, and, of course, lots of love. I take the time to get to know each pet’s personality and needs. Some pets love long walks and play sessions, while others prefer cuddles on the couch or a quiet companion nearby. I’m happy to adapt to what makes your pet feel most comfortable. In a client’s home, I respect both your pet’s routine and your home, and I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you always know how your furry family member is doing. My goal is to make your time away as stress-free as possible for both you and your pet.

About: At 27 years old, I've had experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities—from rambunctious puppies who need lots of patience and playtime, to energetic large breeds, to sweet senior dogs who require a little extra care and comfort. I know that every dog is unique, and I strive to make each pet feel safe, loved, and right at home while you're away. Whether your pup loves long walks, endless games of fetch, or simply wants a cozy companion to relax with, I'm happy to tailor my care to their individual needs and routine. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I'd love the opportunity to provide them with a safe, fun, and caring experience. I can't wait to meet you and your pup! Meet and Greets before booking a service are welcome! ☺️ As a flight attendant, my schedule varies from week to week, but I often have multiple consecutive days off that allow me to dedicate plenty of time to pet care. I keep my Rover calendar updated so you'll always see my current availability. When I commit to a booking, you can count on me to provide dependable care, regular updates, and lots of attention for your pet. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always take the time to learn about each dog's routine, personality, preferences, and any medical or behavioral needs before their stay. I carefully follow all owner instructions, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise, and any special care requirements.
“Olivia and Maria are consistently the most amazing dog walkers I’ve ever seen. We trust them with all three of our difficult pups and they are always on time, send the best photos of our pups and are a general pleasure to talk to. We will use them for as long as we possibly can!”

“Ashley was a great help. She was walked xena for three weeks and was always on time and very communicative. She treated Xena very well and Xena was happy with her. I would recommend Ashley to anyone who needs a dog walking service.”

About: I’ve spent time with canines since I could walk! Every summer my parents would rescue different canines in the local area, and leave it to me to train and care for them. I’m currently working part time, so pet care comes as a priority for me. Nothing would make me happier then caring for someone’s fur baby! I have several dog parks within walking distance of my complex, as well as a dog park inside of it as well! As for cats I have all of the appropriate things needed. Food, litter, toys, cat trees, treats and more, all waiting for new fur friends.
“Diego was wonderful. He came on time every time he sent report cards and pictures. It made my time away much more enjoyable knowing my Daisy was in great hands. HIGHLY RECOMMEND ❤️”

“Richard has been taking my dog out for the past week and half. He is very patient with my dog (my pupper can be a stubborn potato sometimes) and provided photos for each walk. I highly recommend him!”

About: I'm great with animals and here to make sure your pup has a wonderful time! Safety is my top priority so you can relax while you're away knowing they're in good hands. I am currently working from home, so I have all the time in the world to take care of your pets! We will definitely have ample walk and play time! My wife and I live in a one bedroom apartment, but our connected living room and 'dining room' (we leave it open for the extra space) are wide with plenty of room to roam and play! We also live right next to a lovely park to smell and explore. For walking services, we'll make sure to explore a new route every chance we can so they can get their smell on!
“Hailey took great care of Bowie - offered a meet and greet and took him on a lovely walk. Helped us out last minute, too! Highly recommend Hailey for your Rover needs!”

“Jonathan is the first person who I have felt really comfortable leaving Parker with for long periods of time. His gentle nature is exactly what the Parker pup needs!”

About: After my childhood dog passed away, my mom rescued our dachshund Cookie in 2025 and we have been navigating her needs since then. She is a very anxious dog and I have developed a strong ability to read her body language to know when she needs an environment change. A lot of patience goes into caring for a dog with trauma and I feel confident dealing with dogs with a range of comfortability around humans and other dogs. Cookie does not live in my house and will not be present during any dog sitting, but she has been key in developing my patience and gentle nature with dogs. Since 2023, I have dogsat for two very large and energetic Golden Retrievers, two large Barbets, and a 16 year old Bichon. These experiences with various sizes, ages, and energy levels taught me to balance multiple pets at once, keep up with high energy dogs, and address health issues and medications. I am not currently employed in Denver as I just graduated from Cal Poly in June. I have a lot of flexibility this summer and will not be starting classes again until September, so for these upcoming months I am very free! Once classes start, I am happy to continue sitting for established clients. My home: - 1/2 acre fenced yard with lots of room to run around and a spacious inside with hardwood floor. - Patio with umbrellas and shade - Patch of turf if preferred - Direct access to a walking path near Hoffman Park in Greenwood Village. - No other dogs in the home. All dogs in a new space will want to explore so I would monitor closely, but still allow them to sniff around and get used to the yard. Your home: I will read over all requirements (feeding time/amount, how long to stay, walks, etc) and text with any clarifying questions. In both my home and yours, I would love to send pictures and updates of your dogs for your peace of mind!
“Blake has been tremendous! Parker is absolutely LOVING the walks he takes her on and he has shown so much care for her and it has helped me and her out so much! 10/10 would recommend for you and your pooch!”

I'm reliable, attentive, and always keep pet parents updated with plenty of photos and messages so they can feel confident their pets are in great hands. I work part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility, and I usually have my afternoons and evenings free for walks, playtime, feeding, and giving pets the attention they deserve. I love creating a consistent and caring environment so pets feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their owners are away. I make sure every pet feels comfortable, safe, and loved, whether I'm caring for them in my home or in their own home. We are going to miss Talia! She has been so good to Willow. She came in last minute to help me walk her, she has been so flexible and very communicative! She sends pictures during walks, takes time to make sure Willow was settled in after each walk! We wish you the best!

This was our first time using someone outside of family to watch our Golden Retriever, Lucas, so naturally we were a bit nervous going in. But from the very beginning, Anna completely put us at ease. She handled the meet-and-greet perfectly—asked all the right questions, paid close attention to details, and showed a genuinely warm and thoughtful personality. Lucas connected with her right away, which meant a lot to us. While we were away, she was an excellent communicator. She sent regular updates, detailed notes, and happy photos that reassured us everything was going smoothly. It made the entire experience feel easy and completely stress-free. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again, and honestly, we won’t be looking for anyone else. Knowing Anna is there makes us feel much more comfortable traveling and leaving Lucas in good hands.

Emilee has been absolutely wonderful with Chewie. From the very beginning, she has been kind, communicative, and genuinely caring. It’s such a relief to feel completely comfortable trusting someone with your dog, and I truly do with her. Also, Chewie loves her!! She treats Chewie like he’s her own, and that peace of mind is priceless. I’m so grateful we found her and hope to work with her for a long time!

Caitlin is super nice, very professional and so thoughtful! We booked last minute dog walking and checking. She came right away to my house and made a quick plan for us. It was a huge relief to have her helping us checking and walking my dog while we were not at home. She is just soooo nice and soooo helpful!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
