“Coral was fantastic! I left in a rush the morning she was scheduled to walk Ruby and completely forgot to leave my apartment key. She was incredibly flexible and even downloaded an app so she could access the building. She was patient, understanding, and so easy to work with. I’ll definitely be booking with her again!”

About: I can’t wait to take care of your fur baby like my own! I have owned dogs and cats my whole life and watch my friends animals while they are away. Animals are my passion and fill my cup. I know how difficult it can be to find a trusting and loving home while you are away. My current husky, Luna is a senior dog so I am comfortable with making accommodations and medication administration. I have also taken care of many puppies and experience with behaviors and training. I work from home and can take care of your fur baby however they need! I am flexible and able to stick to their schedule and what makes them feel comfortable. I live in an apartment, with a big dog park attached. I also live with walking paths and parks near by! Pets allowed on furniture and able to make this their home away from home.
“Julia did an amazing job caring for our two cats! She provided great photos and updates and we could tell they were well taken care of. She also watered our plants. It gave peace of mind having her watch them on our trip!”

“Grant took such good care of my cats!!! Came home to everything basically exactly how I left it, with full water and food bowls. He also took a LOT photos (and really good ones too!) so I could get a really good idea of how well my cats were doing while I was gone.”

“Parker did a great job checking in on my cat! He made sure to send me pictures even when she was hiding like the shy girl that she is. Very clear and prompt communication and I felt at easy with the entire process. Thanks Parker!”

“Ashley has been great with our pups! She shows up on time (or even early) every time. She cares about the pups well being and follows our guidelines. We’re so grateful for her help!”

“Sophie completed some drop in visits for our 2 year old cat while we were out of town. We appreciated the real time updates and photo. Our cat was well taken care of we definitely recommend Sophie!”

“Heather did an amazing job taking care of our 3 cats! She was communicative with us and thorough with her care for them. We would definitely have her watch them again!”

“Christine was amazing with my cat! She was so flexible with me and my cat's needs and checked in daily. I will be using her services again for sure and can't recommend her enough!”

“Sean was excellent with my two kittens! He is reliable, communicative, and flexible. My shy cats were totally comfortable with him and I would recommend him to anybody!”

About: Hi, I’m Hannah! I believe the smallest details often tell you the most about a pet. The way they greet you, where they feel safest, what makes them nervous, and what makes their tail wag are all little pieces of who they are. I love learning those details and creating a routine that helps pets feel comfortable while their people are away. I’m especially patient with shy, sensitive, and senior pets because I understand that trust is earned, not rushed. From caring for a senior cat with special needs, to helping a senior yellow lab through his later years, to rescuing my shy cat Darcy, I’ve seen how much patience and consistency can help an animal come out of their shell. I know how important your pets are to you, and I want you to have peace of mind knowing they are with someone who takes the time to notice the little things that make them unique. The way they ask for attention, the places they feel safest, the routines they love, and the little quirks that make them who they are. Pet care fits into my schedule as a flexible and consistent part of my week. I structure my availability around walks, drop in visits, and overnight care so I can be reliable and fully present when I’m with pets. I make sure I only take on bookings I can commit to, so each pet gets steady attention and care. I enjoy having time built around animals because it keeps my days active and meaningful. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping their environment calm, familiar, and consistent. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walk routines, medications, and any specific care preferences. I make sure pets always have fresh water, a clean space, and attention based on their needs and personality. I am mindful of safety at all times, including leashing for walks, securing doors, and maintaining a low stress environment. I am especially attentive to pets who are shy, anxious, or sensitive and allow them to interact at their own pace. I aim to respect their comfort level and keep changes to their routine as minimal as possible. My goal is to provide dependable, respectful care so pets feel secure and owners feel confident while they are away.
About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life — from cats, dogs, and birds to cows and farm animals. Growing up on a farm taught me how to truly understand their behavior and emotions. Animals naturally trust me, and I build a calm, safe connection with every pet I meet. I also have experience caring for senior pets and helping shy animals feel comfortable. Whether it’s walking, feeding, or just giving love, your pet will feel at home with me. Pet care easily fits into my weekly routine because I work part-time with a very flexible schedule. I always make time for walks and pet visits, both on weekdays and weekends. Spending time with animals is something I truly enjoy, so I often plan my days around it. Caring for pets isn’t just a task for me — it’s a relaxing and rewarding part of my routine. When I care for pets, I always follow their usual routine to help them feel safe and comfortable. I make sure they have fresh water, proper meals, playtime, and enough outdoor time if needed. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality — whether they need extra energy, gentle patience, or quiet company. If needed I will keep owners updated with photos and messages so they know their pets are happy and cared for.
“Karington is perfect. She was available on short notice within hours and at a more than reasonable rate. She was thorough, loving, and attentive. She took plenty of photos and provided a detailed check in report each visit. Trusting someone with your kiddos can be a challenge, but with Karington it’s a breeze and I absolutely recommend her.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Centennial
Esmeralda stepped in at last minute’s notice to take care of my cats. Not only was her willingness to take my last minute job deeply appreciated, she went above and beyond in her service. She cleaned up any messes the cats made, watered the plants in the apartment, and sent great photos of the cats every day. They clearly loved visiting with her, which was evident in all of her photos! I would recommend Esmeralda to anybody.

Thank you Erika!! Great communication and treated my pets with love and care! Followed all my instructions to a T, including giving my pets their medication, and gave them lots of snuggles! They were happy as could be when I got back from my trip. Erika is a top notch sitter, and I will definitely be hiring again! Thanks again!

This was our first time using Rover and boy do we feel lucky to have matched with Stephanie! The house, plants, and kitty were all well taken care of. It’s one of the first times we were actually able to fully relax on vacation. We will definitely be re-booking with Stephanie again soon!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
