As a dog mom to my Mini American Shepherd, Kita, pet care is built into my daily routine. My days are filled with walks, playtime, training, and lots of cuddles. Whether it’s a dog who loves adventure or a cat who just wants a quiet companion, I love getting to know each pet’s personality and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while their family is away. I believe pets are happiest when they can stick to the routines they’re familiar with, so I always try to follow their normal schedule as closely as possible. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, I’ll make sure they receive plenty of attention, playtime, exercise, fresh water, meals, and, of course, lots of love. I take the time to get to know each pet’s personality and needs. Some pets love long walks and play sessions, while others prefer cuddles on the couch or a quiet companion nearby. I’m happy to adapt to what makes your pet feel most comfortable. “Our dog, Philly, is always nervous around new people. When we first reached out to Diego it was with just a couple hours notice before leaving town, after another sitter cancelled last minute. We had not met him, and couldn’t introduce Philly in a family setting before he came over. He took his time with her and got her to go potty and eat her dinner by the end of his very first visit (very uncommon for Philly when around new people). He must have been so patient and kind with her, as she was well-fed and totally relaxed when we returned. We’ve met Diego since then, and he recently took care of her again. He is professional, prompt, and watched after our girl wonderfully. We feel much better now when going on trips. We’re very grateful for Diego.”

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals since I was little - kittens and puppies through senior dogs and cats through home experience, volunteering at shelters, and neighborhood services! I love working with animals, and hope to work with yours. As a student in the summer, your pet(s) have my utmost priority, so I schedule my day around their needs and routine. Emergencies and emergency needs are always taken care of. As I’m only working Monday through Thursday, I am very flexible Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Please note - I often work without service and thus may not be able to respond Monday - Thursday, but will get back to you as soon as I can! I am intimately familiar with detailed and unique household / feeding / play schedules, as well as with administering medication. Every care will be taken to make your pets feels as comfortable as possible in their own home, while respecting their schedules and your expectations.

About: What sets me apart from all the other animal lovers out there? Well I spent my early adulthood having fun and still making sure to keep my pets happy and healthy at home. I think most people shy away from having a pet in their early 20s but I could not be in my apartment without some snuggles or crazy zoomies from the endlessly loving pets we get to have. My schedule is a little flexible, I work from home 4 out of 5 days a week and have a car to get from place to place In my home I am responsible for feeding my animals making sure thy have fresh water and sifting litter boxes. As well as playing with them to get out any extra energy. I also am a stickler for making sure exteriors door are always closed.

About: Hi! My name is Lyndsay and I am an occupational therapist and animal lover! I have grown up around dogs, and have experience training both service dogs and a therapy dog. I have also given presentations at a graduate level on the use of animal-assisted therapy, as well as the psychology of animal training. My two boys, Albus and Pongo, are both non-shedding breeds, so I am skilled in bathing and grooming high-maintenance breeds. In addition to my big guys, I also have two cats and am very comfortable caring for cats as well. My summer schedule is incredibly flexible, so I am more than happy to work with you and the needs of your schedule and furry family! I am able to do drop-in visits for potty and play, as well as dog walks throughout the day. As a medical student, I have a structured schedule that allows me to plan pet care into my day. I enjoy taking breaks to go on walks, play with pets, and give them attention throughout the day.
