I work from home and am here most of the time, so your dog will get plenty of attention and companionship throughout the day rather than being left alone for long stretches. My husband, Kyle, and I currently have a playful 4-year-old chocolate lab who is very friendly and adjusts his play style based on the temperament of whatever dog he's with, so he's a great companion for pups of all personalities. I've sat for multiple dogs at once, including pups with different personalities, energy levels, and care needs, so I'm comfortable managing group dynamics, separate feeding routines, medication schedules, or specific behavioral needs your dog may have. I'm comfortable with dogs of all ages and energy levels. We're an active household and happy to provide daily walks in the local park or around the neighborhood. My home is fully fenced (a secure 6ft fence, spacious yard) with a doggy door, so dogs can move freely between indoors and outdoors on their own schedule. Dogs are welcome to relax wherever they're most comfortable in the house, but I also have baby gates at the top and bottom of the stairs if needed. I can accommodate a crate. Happy to use yours, or I have a medium-sized crate available to borrow if you'd rather not bring your own. Please note: I have a young child at home, so I'm only able to host dogs who are good with kids. I'm very responsive and flexible with your schedule and needs, and I treat every dog in my care like family, sending regular photo/video updates so you can relax and enjoy your time away knowing your pup is happy, safe, and loved. I work from home so I will be home to let your pup out frequently and provide walks. We occasionally do activities on the weekends and may be away for a few hours at a time, but never away for too long! I have a fenced in yard with a doggy door. We have lots of toys and comfy places to lay down between play sessions.

I've taken care of dogs as early as elementary school, most consistently a neighbor's 2 dogs and 1 cat through high school. I myself had several reptiles but no furry friends due to my mom's allergies. The first dog I could call mine was as an adoptive mom to my partner's dog - he passed away late 2025 at age 14 after getting lots of senior care from us. I have taken care of several friends' pets, mostly dogs. They are always excited to see me, and when I don't have anyone to take care of, I miss the canine company! I look forward to helping your pet live their best life while you are away. I find boarding (at my home) is the easiest way to get them the best attention, so that is my focus. I study at home much of the time and my partner works from home so your pet won't ever be alone more than a few hours. My days vary but are flexible. I update availability regularly, but if you have any special requests just ask. I wouldn't be able to live with it if something happened to your pup while with me! I have experience with reactive dogs, dogs who have lost hearing, have digestive issues, and many other senior things. They will never be unsupervised outside. If you are working on any simple training or reinforcements I can continue that, too. I understand not all pets are cuddlers or like to be picked up just because they are small and I am respectful of their bodily autonomy :)

About: What sets me apart from all the other animal lovers out there? Well I spent my early adulthood having fun and still making sure to keep my pets happy and healthy at home. I think most people shy away from having a pet in their early 20s but I could not be in my apartment without some snuggles or crazy zoomies from the endlessly loving pets we get to have. About: Hi, I’m Emmie! 👋🏼 I’m a lifelong dog lover and proud dog mom to a 50-lb Husky, Panko. I know how much our dogs mean to us and I want every pup who stays with me to feel safe, comfortable, loved and right at home. I offer boarding in my own condo, where your dog will be part of the household and get plenty of attention throughout their stay. I don’t have a yard, but that just means we have a great excuse to get outside! I’m already used to taking several walks a day with Panko, so your pup will have plenty of opportunities for walks, fresh air and exercise. 🐕 I’m very comfortable caring for dogs with different personalities, energy levels and routines, including caring for multiple dogs at once. I’m attentive to feeding schedules, medications if needed, walking routines and all those little details that help a dog feel settled in a new environment. I work from home, which also means your pup won’t be left alone for long stretches of the day. There’s plenty of time for walks, play, cuddles and just hanging out together. I know how important it is to feel completely comfortable with the person caring for your dog. I’ll treat your pup with the same patience, affection and care I’d want for my own - and I’ll happily send updates and photos so you can see how they’re doing while you’re away. ❤️ I’d love to meet you and your pup! I’m happy to incorporate a visiting pup into our normal routine, while following their individual feeding, walking and care schedule. I also enjoy getting outside, so energetic pups who need a few extra walks are always welcome! Your pup will be welcomed into my home as part of the family! I have a very friendly 50-lb Husky who absolutely loves other dogs, so your pup will have a built-in buddy for walks, playtime and hanging out at home. I don’t have a fenced yard, but we make up for it with several walks throughout the day. I’m already accustomed to an active dog routine, so getting outside multiple times a day is just part of our normal schedule. I’m happy to follow your dog’s usual routine, including feeding schedules, medications, crate time and any special instructions. My goal is for your pup to feel comfortable, get plenty of exercise and attention and enjoy a fun, relaxed stay while you’re away!
