“Our pup was comfortable with Stephanie from the start. She’s a clear dog lover, and helped keep our dog calm during the July 4th fireworks while we were out of town. Stephanie was always right on time and helped us stay up-to-date on our dog’s behavior with thoughtful reports and pictures. Thank you so much Stephanie!!”

About: I’ve mostly only ever helped friends and neighbors with their pets. This is cats, dogs and sometimes plants! Last dog I watched for two weeks was on seizure medication and I was in charge of medication. I follow instructions very well! And ask questions! Looking to help with evening walks or feeding! I work until 3 everyday and love to help people. I don’t have a pet right now so I want to help others with theirs:) I know I’m a stranger. I respect their house and that I’m in their territory. I listen to the client and sometimes just too many updates
About: Hi, I’m Hannah! I believe the smallest details often tell you the most about a pet. The way they greet you, where they feel safest, what makes them nervous, and what makes their tail wag are all little pieces of who they are. I love learning those details and creating a routine that helps pets feel comfortable while their people are away. I’m especially patient with shy, sensitive, and senior pets because I understand that trust is earned, not rushed. From caring for a senior cat with special needs, to helping a senior yellow lab through his later years, to rescuing my shy cat Darcy, I’ve seen how much patience and consistency can help an animal come out of their shell. I know how important your pets are to you, and I want you to have peace of mind knowing they are with someone who takes the time to notice the little things that make them unique. The way they ask for attention, the places they feel safest, the routines they love, and the little quirks that make them who they are. Pet care fits into my schedule as a flexible and consistent part of my week. I structure my availability around walks, drop in visits, and overnight care so I can be reliable and fully present when I’m with pets. I make sure I only take on bookings I can commit to, so each pet gets steady attention and care. I enjoy having time built around animals because it keeps my days active and meaningful. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping their environment calm, familiar, and consistent. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walk routines, medications, and any specific care preferences. I make sure pets always have fresh water, a clean space, and attention based on their needs and personality. I am mindful of safety at all times, including leashing for walks, securing doors, and maintaining a low stress environment. I am especially attentive to pets who are shy, anxious, or sensitive and allow them to interact at their own pace. I aim to respect their comfort level and keep changes to their routine as minimal as possible. My goal is to provide dependable, respectful care so pets feel secure and owners feel confident while they are away.
“Morgan is everything you want in anyone who looks after your pet- dependable, observant, communicative. She lets you know what pet owners want to know about the visit. I have a young puppy with many needs, but Morgan gives me great peace with her drop in visits.”

“Robin takes such good care of my babies. I can leave town knowing that they are safe and cared for in her care. Thank you Robin for loving my babies while I'm gone.”

“Cj is amazing, we came home to such happy relaxed dogs. She is very knowledgeable about nervous dogs and put our fearful rescue at ease with her gentle & kind manner. She truly loves dogs and left us detailed, funny and sweet notes after each visit, along with great photos. The perfect petsitter, we had a wonderful vacation knowing she was in charge and will book her again in a heartbeat. Thank you Cj!”
“Kirstin is the best! She goes out of the way to make our shy kitties feel special! She even found our elusive outdoor kitty who never shows up. Thanks Kirstin!”

About: I can’t wait to take care of your fur baby like my own! I have owned dogs and cats my whole life and watch my friends animals while they are away. Animals are my passion and fill my cup. I know how difficult it can be to find a trusting and loving home while you are away. My current husky, Luna is a senior dog so I am comfortable with making accommodations and medication administration. I have also taken care of many puppies and experience with behaviors and training. I work from home and can take care of your fur baby however they need! I am flexible and able to stick to their schedule and what makes them feel comfortable. I live in an apartment, with a big dog park attached. I also live with walking paths and parks near by! Pets allowed on furniture and able to make this their home away from home.
“Chelsea has been incredible with our pups! She works with our new puppy on training, and sends the best picture updates. My work schedule rotates every week and she has been so flexible and accommodating. I would definitely recommend her!”

About: There has always been a variety of animals in my life, all my life, since I was born. In the present I have one dog and one cat. During my brother's engagement, my now sister-in-law entrusted me with the care of her ausie-dalmation mix for a period of 3 months. All my life with family and friends when it came to pet care I was the one they could depend on. Most recently I surprised a cousin of my wife getting head rubs from here "scared of everything cat." Through my experience as a maintenance technician and a pest control specialist I honed my detail orientation and encountered many furry and sometimes scaley friends. Through my services your hairy baby will receive the quality care as you do yourself! (Experience is based on personal experience that I have provided friends and family. Not through any any agency such as Rover) I am recently married and my wife has given me the opportunity and blessing to pursue a degree. I am a part time student looking to gain an income that will allow me to balance my education. I allocate abiut 20 hours/week to school prefer to be home when my wife is. I provide plentiful exercise through walking and play. Mental stimulation through basic command exercises (sit, stay, and lay down). Brushing sessions as well. I am comfortable bathing and I am comfortable crating if needed.
“Currently my wife and I are at the beach and the only reason we are here able to relax is because of Daria. Before our trip Daria came by and went on a walk with me and our two dogs to discuss our expeditions and the routine our dogs are in. Keep in mind our dogs are spoiled and by the pictures Daria uploaded to the walk reports they are getting spoiled even more! If you are a dedicated dog owner I know it can be hard to trust someone to come to your house and provide the same love you give. Look no further. Daria is wonderful, professional, and confident in her abilities to prove exceptional service. This was our first time with rover since it was so hard for us to find someone trustworthy. Daria will be our go to now when we need to get away. We truly appreciate you Daria, thank you!”

About: I started pet sitting about four years ago when my sister asked me to care for her puppy while she was on vacation. Since then, I’ve cared for dogs for family, friends, and neighbors. I have experience with both senior pets and young dogs (as young as 1 year old). I’m comfortable administering medication and bathing pets when needed. I’ve also been active on Rover for three years and am always looking for more opportunities to care for pets. I currently work full-time for a financial tech company in Golden, but I’m available to care for pets during the week, as I work from home two days per week (typically Thursday and Friday). I can provide pet sitting or make drop-in visits for walks and potty breaks. I’m also available on weekends. I prefer to care for pets in their own home to keep them comfortable in their familiar environment. I will follow all care instructions closely to ensure they feel secure while you’re away. I also make time each day to play with and engage them.
“Tanya is incredible! From our meet and greet to her visit with my cat I was impressed. I had Tanya dropping in on my cat while I was away on vacation. When Tanya came for our meet and greet my very stubborn dog was also home & she gave me many tips to work on with him. This was very much above and beyond and greatly appreciated. When Tanya was doing her drop ins she was very communicative and spent a lot of time making sure my kitty was feeling loved. I will 100% book with Tanya again!”

We have had Lena petsit for us a few times now. She is always reliable and you can tell she truly cares for animals. We went on vacation and leaving your pets behind is always hard but she put our minds at ease and we are grateful for that. I will definitely be booking her in the future!

Lily was absolutely fantastic with my kitties! She was incredibly reliable, punctual, and made sure everything was taken care of perfectly during her drop-in visits. It’s always tough leaving a pet behind, but Lily gave me complete peace of mind. I will definitely be booking her again!

Five paws from my two picky little critics! 🐾 They were loved, spoiled, and so well taken care of while I was away. The updates and photos were the perfect touch, and I came home to happy cats and a stress free house. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Highly recommend!

As always, Lauren is a great pet sitter. She is attentive to our cats needs and even spoon fed our picky eater to ensure he ate all of his wet food. Lauren was also understanding when our trip got cut short due to the wildfires in Colorado. We recommend her for all of your pet sitting needs!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
