I LOVE dogs and cats – puppies and kittens and especially the elderly. Being a dog walker and cat caregiver is my way of being of service; caring for people’s animals as I would my own allowing guardian's peace of mind while they are away. I have had a dog in my life for the last 40+ years and can't imagine my life without one. My dog is my child and is treated like a treasured family member in my home, and that's how I treat dogs in my care. I love to learn the guidelines from the guardian so I can be consistent with whatever your ground rules are and if there are any quirks I should be aware of. I genuinely enjoy the animals I care for, and many have been in my care for 8 years! I want your animal to feel as comfortable with me as you do!

Safety, trust & environment
I am always aware of my surroundings when I walk dogs and do not let them interact with other dogs so as to avoid any incidents. With cats, I am careful when opening the door to ensure they do not escape. I will also take in mail, water plants, and do a little shoveling in the winter – anything to make it look like someone is home.

Stephanie did a great job dropping in to visit our cats while we were away! She was prompt, communicative and we knew she was giving them the attention they needed.
Totally trust Stephanie to care for my elderly cat. She’s got that magic touch that gets my introverted cat out from under the bed and talking, which lets me know that he’s healthy and okay.
Stephanie is so sweet! Both of my dogs loved her and she took extra special care to ensure they had a little walk and potty breaks. I love that she took the time to get to know my dogs, how they are on leash, and how they are with people to ensure their safety while in her care! Would recommend :)
Stephanie was great! She’s very responsive, thorough, and Zipper seemed to have had a good time!

Schedule
This is my semi-retirement job so I can be pretty flexible. When you make a request, please let me know exactly what you need which will help with scheduling.

- I want to know of any health or behavioral issues and if they have any other quirks so I can more effectively manage and take care of them. I like to know their favorite toy(s) and any other activity that they especially like.
