“How do I even begin to say how grateful I am for you Jennifer. Nowhere in my planning for my trip being on my trip did I foresee that I would have to have you go with my mellow to say goodbye with me halfway across the world. This was not an easy decision and I’m so grateful that I had you on the phone with me while you were with my mellow Thank you for taking care of her and for being with her in the end I’m beyond grateful forever and I’m so sorry that you had to do that.”

“We had a fantastic experience with Dilruba. She followed all of our instructions perfectly and went above and beyond by providing a detailed report after each visit. Our cat is usually very timid, but Dilruba made the experience much less stressful for him. We came home to a happy and relaxed kitty, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Highly recommend!”

“Cami takes the best care of the my two kitties! EVEN when she’s on crutches! And her daily narratives about her visits are the absolute cutest - they make me smile every time!”

About: I have been caring for dogs for about 7 years in Colorado and boarding for 4. There is plenty of space in my home and I work, sleep and eat on the man floor which is normally where we are so the will have plenty of companionship. I have a large back yard for us to play in and I love going the extra mile if they’d prefer long walks or the dog park. I live in a wonderful walkable neighborhood with two dog parks nearby. Currently I am only taking small dogs as new boarders to create a safe environment for little ones. I have a 9lb Pomeranian named Checkers that I adopted in Jan 2024. Checkers is the sweetest little rescue. He is more of a people dog so tends to keep to himself. Please note I do take up to 2 dogs at a time and occasionally 3 over the holidays or on an overlap day. I am currently not available for ongoing checkins or walks during the work day. I work from home full time and I am always around to give your pup attention. I am available during the week and most weekends. I have a 6ft fenced back yard to play in. This is where we do potty breaks as well. I do not let little dogs in the yard by themselves for safety reasons. During the day we’ll go for a walk or play depending on the schedule you’d like to keep. I am here during the working day. If I need to step out in the evening or weekend I limit that to 2-3 hours at a time so your dog gets plenty of attention. My room, office, kitchen and living space are all on one floor so your pet is welcome to make themselves comfortable wherever they’d like.
“My cat Rita is very shy and generally hates meeting new people. However, she loved Denise and opened up to her instantly. Denise was attentive, caring, and always made sure Rita got the attention and love she needed while I was away. I would absolutely recommend Denise to anyone who wants their pet to be well taken care of!”

“We’ve booked Cj twice now and she’s done a splendid job of taken care of our two mongrels. On her last visit she had discovered that one of our dogs got into some pills and she took them both to her house and gave them hydrogen peroxide and watched them for several hours. She really went above and beyond in helping our dogs when we were gone and were extremely grateful for her attentiveness and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure they were safe. Our pups are both happy and healthy now, thank you Cj!!!! 10/5 stars”

“Robin has been a godsend to us! She is knowledgeable on how to approach a dog and gives appropriate correction when needed. She takes her time with our dogs and is an excellent communicator during the visits. We have no stress when we know our dogs are getting a visit from Robin😊”

“Michal is our go to guy! He was prompt when we needed a trustworthy pet sitter last minute. Michal was attentive to Benny and kept me in the loop about anything going on! Michal is both a caring and knowledgeable pet sitter!”

“Tina is an amazing cat sitter. She is very organized and provides detailed notes about everything she does, so you always know what’s going on. She is warm and welcoming to my cats and plays with them well. Even though my cats are very shy, she made them feel comfortable, and they looked happy with her. I highly recommend her as a cat sitter and would love to work with her again in the future.”

“Lauren was amazing! She sent us multiple pictures during her visit and gave us detailed updates throughout the day. We felt so comfortable having her watch our pups and will absolutely book with her again in the future.”

“Grace was amazing! She took such great care of Manny for the week, was very communicative and sent regular pictures and updates. Would definitely recommend and look forward to booking with her again :)”

“Tierney is the best!! She is 100% reliable, a great communicator, and does an amazing job caring for my two dogs who are different ages and energy levels. My pups love her and I know they are safe and have a blast whenever she comes for a visit. She is warm, kind, a true professional and follows my (sometimes long and chaotic) instructions to a T. She always takes the cutest pictures too 😊 I'm so happy to have found Tierney!”
“Stephanie was amazing!! She was very attentive to my needs and my cat’s many directions. We met before my trip when I booked and then again the day before to give her my keys and go over any details. She is extremely kind, communicates daily on the rover app, happy to do anything that is needed. My cats are super messy and my house looked great when I got home. My cats were obviously well cared for and happy when I returned. I already have Stephanie booked for my next trip!”

About: I'm currently a dog trainer looking to get some more work in! I work with the smallest dogs to the biggest dogs. Happy to help with reactive or dogs with behavior problems :) After or before work during the week, and I am available most weekends. Happy to do long or short walks! Trails or in your neighborhood! I'm very used to adjusting to my clients needs and preferences! Crating, leashing, play time, and feeding routines are things I pay very close attention to detail to!

Anytime we can book Allysia, we are so happy! She is the best pet and house sitter, and knowing that she will be stopping by every day provides us with so much relief. We really feel that we can trust her to take care of our kitties and our plants (the latter of which is really no easy task as we have hundreds). She is thoughtful, communicative, flexible to last minute travel changes, gentle with pets, able to administer medication and inhalers, and sends great photos and detailed updates. You can tell she has our pets’ best interests in mind and she is super reliable!

Jennifer, you are so wonderful! My worries about Ruby Lee melted away in your care. I know she was in the best of hands. I came home to a calm, happy settled cat rather than angry and anxious, I couldn't be more grateful to you.I hope you're available next time I'm out of town.

Ivey was great when watching my cat! She was super patient with her quarks and felt very thorough when checking in on her & then giving me an update about it. I'll definitely reach out to Ivey again in the future and will recommend others in the area to use her as well

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Englewood. On Rover:
- 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
