“Nola always has the best time with Kaylee! Kaylee sends us lots of photos, provides a very detailed report card, and always makes sure she is interacting with Nola in a way that furthers Nola’s puppy training.”

“Jennifer is amazing!!! I was so comfortable having her come check on my pup, and she was very observant and detailed in what happened while she was there. My dog who so happy in every single picture and video! We will definitely be booking with Jennifer again!”

“Thank you so much for caring for our dogs and cat! I know they had a great time because their pictures tell the story! That made us feel so good while away that they were in such great hands. Thank you!”

“Niki was so awesome with my pup! She was very communicative and reliable, and I felt very confident knowing she was with my dog during the day. Would absolutely highly recommend!”

“Grant took such good care of my cats!!! Came home to everything basically exactly how I left it, with full water and food bowls. He also took a LOT photos (and really good ones too!) so I could get a really good idea of how well my cats were doing while I was gone.”

About: I love relating to animals from domesticated furry friends to those habitat in nature. I am not intimidated by size or medical needs & would relish the opportunity to help your fur baby feel loved & cared for. I have had the honor and pleasure to be entrusted to care for the dogs & cats of my friends & neighbors for over 50 years. I love being outside so I don’t mind taking a four-legged friend for a walk or spending time in a backyard playing catch or tug with their favorite chew toy. I also just like to honor “special time” on a lap, giving cuddles and pets. I have two cats of my own that recently incurred expenses for dental surgery. I was looking for ways to earn extra money when the Rover services popped up as an option. I thought it would be a perfect fit. I would love the opportunity to give your pet some extra care, so that I can care for my cats. My full-time job is at a high school and I have some free time in the summer. During June and July, I am available morning, midday and evenings for dog walks, dog sitting or cat sitting. When school starts my availability becomes limited to midday and evenings. Let’s talk how I can work around your schedule. My sweet cats get me up early, making me available to care for your baby first thing in the morning. Midday is very flexible for walks or cuddles as well as late afternoon & evening. Let’s talk about the best time for your pet. My two cats & I enjoy our fenced back yard each morning & evening. Ive had the pleasure of hosting pet friends for overnights at our house. Im also willing & able to meet the desires of others in their familiar spaces.
“We are grateful that our new puppy received some attention and got his puppy energy out while we were at work. Thank you for your care, the communication, and photos!”

“Sarah is amazing! This was the first time I have ever used a pet sitter that wasn't a friend or family. I was a little worried about the process and leaving my fur babies (first time in 1 1/2). Sarah made the entire process easy and was so nice about it. She provided a great check in after each visit to my two cats. She also provided pictures which was great to see while away. Sarah also went above what we asked by cleaning the water fountain after noticing it had some build up in fur, she watered the 3 plants, and brought in a box we weren't expecting until the following week. Sarah also made amazing art out of the kitty treats. I would 100% recommend her without any reservations and plan to hire her again the next time I leave town. She did so amazing that towards the end of her visits one of my cats came to visit her (very rare)!”

“Shana was fantastic with my fiesta cat. I had to be gone on an extended work trip, and I worried that my cat would be anxious and lonely. Shana spent quality time with my cat, made sure the visits were calming, and the cat seemed less stressed when I got home. I couldn't be more thankful. I recommend Shana as a pet sitter, she truly loves pets.”

“Megan was great to work with! Wonderful care for our pets, and amazing attention to detail. We’re grateful for their flexibility to help us in a pinch, and can’t recommend enough.”

“Anghelie was a natural hanging out with Benny when we met up ahead of time. She made sure to keep Benny entertained during his stay, and sent me videos when the Rover app was malfunctioning. Would recommend :)”

About: I currently have a 10 month old bunny. I've had many hamsters and birds along with cats. While pet sitting for my grandparents their cat passed away so I have experience with contacting vets and my aunts dog is in diapers and has accidents around the house which I am willing to do for your animal too. I currently work a full time 7-6 with an hour long lunch break between 11 and 2. I can give extra attention and love in the mornings and after work to make uo for the long gaps. I love meeting new animals in their safe places so they can learn to trust me but also hide of they feel threatened or shy.
“Nicole did such an amazing job with Addy, taking some stress off of long work days! She even dealt with a stressful situation between my cat and my dog with ease, and I’d trust her with my pets again at any time. Thank you Nicole!!”

About: Hi! I’m a reliable animal lover with six years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and exotic animals. I’m committed to making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I’d love the opportunity to care for your furry friends! I’m currently working part time (usually just a couple shifts a week), so I have plenty of free time to spend with animals. While some of my shifts are longer, I’m able to check in on pets during breaks to ensure they still receive attention, bathroom breaks, walks and care. I’m currently living with my parents in a house with a fenced yard. When caring for animals in my home, I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, walks, playtime, medication needs, and any other special institutions from the owner. I have experience with dogs, cats, and exotic animals, so I understand the importance of patience, cleanliness, and providing specially tailored care.

Maia watched my kitty Eggroll for 2 weeks while I was out for the country. She came by for an hour each day and my cat just absolutely loves her. My kitty is a little older and does need some extra care (meds) but she handled this perfectly! She was great with pictures and updates and even got my kitty a new catnip toy which Eggroll just absolutely loved!

Corrie was wonderful! I had a last minute camping trip and she came and took amazing care of my cats. I have brother kittens and she came over multiple times a day to make sure they were not stressed or anxious about us being gone, gave them wet food, played with them and cleaned their litter box. She went above and beyond and I am super appreciate, would highly recommend to anyone 😊

Holly did a great job watching my rabbit while I was out of the country for 10 days. She sent updates and photos each visit, so I didn't worry about him once. She did a fantastic job keeping his enclosure clean--which is not an easy feat! I know my rabbit was excited to see her each visit.

I can’t say enough good things about Michelle. She consistently goes above and beyond—on one occasion even picking up treats when I ran out, which meant I came home to a very happy (and very spoiled) cat. What really stands out is how much she genuinely cares. It’s clear she loves what she does, and more importantly, she truly loves my cat—and the feeling is mutual. He’s completely comfortable with her, which says everything. It gives me real peace of mind knowing he’s in such thoughtful, attentive hands. Highly recommend.

Second time booking with Malorie and she did a wonderful job again! She was open and accommodating even when given late notice of the booking and most importantly made sure Maverick was cared for. She gave amazing updates every day and was able to give him his medications with no problems!

Anghelie was incredibly thoughtful and kind from the very first meet and greet. It was immediately clear how much she genuinely loves cats and how experienced she is in caring for them. While we were away, she went above and beyond by helping to problem-solve an unexpected house issue and keeping us informed, which gave us so much peace of mind. We felt completely confident leaving our cat in her care, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book her again. Highly recommend!

Morgan is a phenomenal pet sitter! Great communication and had consistent timely drop ins. My cats really seemed to love her from the photos she sent and gave fantastic and detailed updates - 10000% would recommend and am hopeful to be able to use her again when needed! Thanks Morgan!

I have two somewhat shy cats who both need daily oral medication. They both warmed up to Mark and Roxana at their meet and greet visit, and were able to be medicated without problems. Mark and Roxana did a wonderful job caring for my catboys, and I look forward to using their services in the future.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Columbine. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
