“Nick is an outstanding rover! I used him for the first time this weekend and the experience couldn’t have been better. He is so easy to communicate with, and he has the perfect house set up for pups: awesome house and huge fenced in back yard. Immediately my puppy felt at home; he gave her lots of individual attention and I could tell she loved her time with him. Nick is all all around nice guy and I would highly recommend him for caring for your pup. He was also watching an adorable high energy larger dog that had total run of the place so I knew my doggie was in the right place! Also, Nick is home almost all the time which is huge. Can’t recommend him enough!”

“Jess and her family were amazing with our dog. We went on a 10-day trip and felt very comfortable leaving him with their family after meeting them just once. They were so great to work with and we will definitely use them again!”

“I was nervous about bringing my 8 month old puppy to stay with someone I didn't know in a house with other dogs. My fears evaporated when I met Julia. My dog is very sweet but can be shy when she meets new people. Julia was very patient and followed my lead about the best way to introduce herself to Roxy. Roxy warmed up to her almost immediately. Julia was patient about introducing her dogs to Roxy. She went at Roxy’s pace, bringing the dogs out one at a time as she got used to the space and each dog. I received numerous pictures during Roxy’s playdate, and I could tell by her body language that she was calm and happy. We can't wait to see Julia again!”

“Kim & Audreanna took wonderful care of our 2 precious dogs. They have a nice, large backyard for the dogs to run around. They are former dog owners and are comfortable with all types of dogs. We will use them again and recommend them to take care of your precious family members.”

“Kathy was so attentive to our cat Tuna and she gave us well put together updates so we had no worries at all while we traveled. I’d highly recommend Kathy!”

“Jennifer always goes above and beyond when caring for Cherry. I always get cute pictures and updates throughout the visit! I feel very confident and comfortable that Cherry is in good hands when she takes care of her!”

About: Ive had a cat most of my life. On many occasions, while traveling, Ive had strays randomly come up to me for a leg rub or pat, earning me “cat-whisperer”. I love watching them communicate through their body language & seeing how wise they are. I believe a cat needs four things a day—fresh water, fresh food, clean litter box, and their own special time. Special time can vary by cat, based on their surroundings & personality. Some cats just want to be alone for a bit, while others want a human lap or a bed pillow. I’d love to meet your cat & honor their special time.

“Jennie did such a great job taking care of our boys! She made sure they each got individual attention, and even gave our Loki some outside time on the deck - which is is his favorite! She also went above and beyond and stopped by a second time after Mongo didn't eat all his food on her first visit. Will definitely use Jennie again!~”

“We are grateful that our new puppy received some attention and got his puppy energy out while we were at work. Thank you for your care, the communication, and photos!”

“When our flight home delayed our return by 12 hours, Grant jumped in on a moment's notice to make an extra trip to our house to feed my little monsters. He took great care of the kitties and is such a pleasant person to work with.”

“Megan does a great job checking on our cat while we are away. He gets plenty of affection and play time, litter boxes are cleaned, water bowls are filled, and we get great updates and pictures! She went above and beyond and fed him wet food when he was finicky about his kibble.”

“Katy took wonderful care of my senior kitty, Ladybug, when I needed a last-minute cat sitter for the weekend. She administered Ladybug’s medications in her food and gave her lots of love while I was away. Thank you, Katy!”

“Jessica went above and beyond to take care of my cat!! I felt super safe with her in my home and around my sweet kitty. I would book her again in a heartbeat! Highly recommended!”

“I can’t say enough good things about Michelle. She consistently goes above and beyond—on one occasion even picking up treats when I ran out, which meant I came home to a very happy (and very spoiled) cat. What really stands out is how much she genuinely cares. It’s clear she loves what she does, and more importantly, she truly loves my cat—and the feeling is mutual. He’s completely comfortable with her, which says everything. It gives me real peace of mind knowing he’s in such thoughtful, attentive hands. Highly recommend.”

“Nicole was amazing at watching our cat for a week. We said we were flexible with evening drop in times and she had great communication keeping us in the loop for when she would be stopping over. She paid attention to the little details and was very understanding of our cat and his behaviors. Would absolutely book with her again!”

About: I started cat-sitting around age 12. Neighbors/family friends. I grew up with around 5-6 cats at all times who were family! Before Rover, I worked for a professional pet-sitting company for 7-years. Many of those jobs included Cats. I am used to the individual/unique needs of each cat, as I know most of them are picky lol. Mine included!! I would love it if your Cat is a lap cat as mine aren't. I have administered medications, knowledge in trimming kitty claws (if your cat will let me🤣) and happy to provide brushing and lots of snuggles. My cats are indoor only, and definitely spoiled.

“David and Dawn take wonderful care of our puppy. They have watched our dog three times, and each time we pick her up, she is happy and well cared for. We are confident in allowing our dog to stay with them, and never worry when she is in their care. Thanks David and Dawn. Planning on seeing you in the near future.”

“Kristin is truly amazing. She is such a lovely person and looks after Maya so well. Maya even did the excited wiggles and kisses when she saw her! ( she is very picky with her kisses) I highly recommend Kristen to anyone and I feel so comfortable with her looking after my pup. If I could give more stars I would! Thank you so much.”

“Danielle was such a lifesaver when I needed my Chewy picked up last minute on the 4th of July! She was so wonderful and went above and beyond to help me out in a pinch and picked up Chewy for me since I was already out of town. Then I was delayed getting home and she was willing to host him another night last minute also and was so sweet in trying to not make me feel bad about the last minute change (Again!). She is the best and definitely my new go-to Chewy sitter :) She sent so many photos and gave him lots of love and attention. Thank you so much Danielle!!! :)))”

“Definitely recommend and will use Brandi again to look after my dogs. I was able to go to work with a great sense of peace of mind knowing my fur baby was in exceptional hands. 6 stars if I could!”

About: I basically grew up in a zoo (the fun kind), and caring for animals has always been second nature to me. I graduated from an animal training program in my 20s, spent three years as a vet tech (I love exotics too), and now work as an RN, so your pets are in very attentive, capable hands. Over the past four years, I’ve fostered 50+ dogs, helping them feel safe, loved, and totally spoiled while they waited for their forever homes. I’m the friend everyone calls when they need a pet sitter… and I’d love to be that person for you, too! Pet care is woven into my everyday life. As a longtime foster, my days naturally revolve around walks, training, and snuggles. I am not a certified trainer, but I love to incorporate the basics for every animal in my care. This includes training with walks. Working as an RN has made me highly organized and attentive to routines, so I'm very comfortable sticking to feeding times, medication schedules, and special care instructions. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family. I follow their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, crate time, medication, and training cues. With my background in animal training and experience as a vet tech, I'm confident handling different temperaments, reinforcing positive behaviors, and monitoring for signs of stress or illness. On walks, I focus on structured, safe outings that are both enriching and fun. I use secure leashing, stay aware of surroundings, and tailor the pace to your dog's energy level and needs. (I'm also a runner if they enjoy that).
“We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From the start, they were flexible with both drop off and pick up times, which made our day so much less stressful. They sent picture updates that kept us feeling connected and reassured. Our pup recently had surgery for torn CCL’s and they monitored her activity making sure there was no jumping or rough play while still keeping her happy with love and attention. I was surprised by how excited our pup was to arrive, which is rare since she typically doesn’t like being left anywhere. Seeing her tail wag going into a new place and her happy, relaxed demeanor at pickup said it all. She clearly felt comfortable and cared for. We’re so grateful to have found such a wonderful sitter and will definitely be booking with them again!”

About: I work in education and have summers (and holiday stretches) off. My dog recently passed away. He was a large / elderly / mobility-assisted / diapered / blind / medicated dog I had adopted almost 8 years ago. I had adopted a hospice dog in 2023 as well - she was a large breed with multiple cancers, so I am also familiar with that type of end of life care. I love dogs. I have used Rover often and now I would love the chance to use our empty home this summer to pet sit for others! I have an open summer! I work in education and have summers off. I do not have a schedule that I must adhere to. This is a flexible time for me. There are no other pets in our home. I know this is important for some to feel content with their pet being cared for, so this might fill a need that is harder to find!
“Fantastic with our puppy. Lots of pictures. I was able to relax knowing Tucker was well cared for. Our car broke down on way to pick up our puppy and they were beyond understanding.”

“Victoria was absolutely incredible with my dogs! Both of my pups have special needs—one wears a diaper and the other has limited mobility in her back legs—which can honestly be a lot to manage. But Victoria handled everything with so much patience, care, and genuine affection. She didn’t just meet their physical needs; she went above and beyond to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved. I could tell she was attentive and truly present with them throughout the day. It’s such a relief to find someone who not only understands the extra care required but embraces it with a kind heart. I can’t recommend her enough!”

“Jake was incredibly friendly and great at providing updates throughout the day! His love of caring for my dog (and his/others) is genuine. My dog came home tired but happy!”

About: As a mom and past pet owner myself I understand being worried about how your children get treated, and that’s why I would love to care, love, and have patience for them, just how I would appreciate other people doing it for my kids I’m a stay at home mom, and it would allow me to do something that I love while everyone else in the house is home for work. While also living with the pet lovers that my 20 yr daughter and partner are. I make sure they feel comfortable with my presence firstly, try to get them to trust me with some pets, treats or lots of cute words. I also feed them, making sure to comply with all of their diet requirements, give them lots of water to drink, brush their hair, and make sure to keep them estimulated with toys and pets. With also the essential recurring walks every 2-4 house to tire them out and let them take a lovely nap on the couches at home. Sending them home with some treats and lots of love hoping they come back may day the care is needed.
“This was our first experience with Rover and with Crystal, and we couldn’t be more pleased. Our dog Beau loved spending time with her and her pup, they all got along great. Beau stayed for four days of daycare and was genuinely excited to arrive each morning, then pretty much sulked when we got home, which says it all. We would absolutely recommend Crystal and wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again.”

“Caleb came through last minute when we needed help. He showed up within an hour and handled our 125lb Saint Bernese mix like a pro. Reliable, responsive, and great with big dogs, we’ll definitely be booking him again.”

“Vickie was amazing! She was dependable and on time. Lupo loved her (as did Guido). It was very comforting to know that she was doing such a wonderful job! Highly recommend.”

About: We provide a home with love and care. We are used to dogs that may need a bit more attention and we have a yard to play and run in. There are two days a week where your dog would need to be trusted at home with a doggie door. Talk with us about those days but otherwise someone is with that pup We have a fenced large yard for them especially if they like the outdoors. There is space in the house for their own bed, crates and will always have accessibility to the indoors and outdoor. We do have a 6ft fence for those that can jump. We can accommodate one family at a time if requested.
“Jennie is truly amazing and consistently goes above and beyond for us and our sweet old pup. She takes such wonderful care of him, and it gives us complete peace of mind knowing he’s in her hands. She’s our top choice, and we’re incredibly grateful for her kindness, dedication, and outstanding care.”

About: I have several years of hands on experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I’m comfortable with daily routines, feeding schedules, walks, basic grooming, and providing loving companionship. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I work part time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to prioritize walks, feedings, drop ins, and quality time throughout the day. I plan my schedule around the pets in my care to ensure they receive consistent attention, exercise, and supervision. Pet care will never be rushed, I make sure pets will get the care and attention they deserve while owners are away. Because I offer walks, drop in, and pet sitting, I take safety and trust very seriously when caring for pets. I follow all instructions provided by owners, respect their space, and make sure pets feel comfortable in a familiar environment. I always secure doors, gates, and leashes, use approved walking routes, and never introduce pets to unfamiliar animals or situations. My goal is for both pets and owners to feel completely at ease!

About: I’ve taken care of my own pets as well as family and friends my entire life whether it was for vacation, because my parents were working, etc. I am happy to take care of any babies as I love animals and just want to spread the love! I’m currently working 3 days out of the week over at Walmart because I’m taking real estate licensing courses. I would love to take care of some pets in my free time rather than watching tv or doing arts and crafts. I’m currently in an apartment and don’t have a yard, however I know how to properly walk a dog on leash as Ive taken dog training classes with my family dogs. I would not go by any main roads on a walk just for precaution and safety reasons, though a nice long walk in the neighborhood would be great! I enjoy making sure pets have enough water, food, and energy-burning time.

“We are so happy that David was able to walk our pup on a day we would be gone most of the day. We came home to a very happy and tired our boy. We look forward to working more with David in the future.”

“Maddie is the best. She was very punctual and communicated well with my Copper’s walks. This is my first time using Rover and I am glad that Maddie left me with a great experience. Thanks Maddie!”

About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I can remember. We had horses, dogs, cats, pigs, goats, hamsters, and the list goes on. I’d love to meet and care for your pet as my own while you’re away. I’m currently a stay at home mom but I have been a registered nurse for 6 years. Caring for others is in my nature. I grew up on 10 acres with a lot of animals to care and enjoyed doing it! I’m happy to give medications as needed. I have a large fenced yard and a sun room with plenty of sleeping space for pups. We have 4 pups of our own. One of which is crated. All are spayed or neutered and super friendly!
About: I am a long time pet owner who currently owns two cats named Reggie and Ash. I would have a pup if I had the back yard for one, so hopefully soon! I grew up around dogs and have had them for most of my life. I would love to walk your dog, do drop in visits, or even take them to the park! I am very active and love walking, hiking, and running. I also have a fondness for cats! I am happy to drop in and spend some time while you are out of town or gone during the day, even if that means getting ignored by an aloof kitty cat! I am flexible and happy to work with whatever needs your fur baby may have. I work from home so my schedule is very flexible! I currently work remote so I have breaks in my day to walk dogs, do drop ins, or spend some time with animals that need extra love during the day! I currently do not offer services for pets in my household. I have two cats and they get pretty stressed when I bring animals in the home. It’s best I stop into your home!
