About: Hi! I’m Daria. I have experience with dogs large and small. I used to own 2 German Shepherds and I now own two Shiba Inus. I provide lots of love, snuggles, and playtime! When I’m pet sitting, I make sure your pet gets lots of exercise and attention. I’m happy to give them meds and follow any special instructions. I work from home, and have lots of free time during the day and evenings. I’m happy to take your pets on walks or provide potty breaks throughout the day. If boarding at my house: I have a large fenced yard that is secure. I have a 3 bedroom home and lots of room for your pet. My dogs are friendly and up to date on shots and neutered. They get along with all breeds and sizes of dogs. If staying at your place, I treat it with respect and keep it tidy.
“Jennie was able to help us out for a last minute pet sitting! She was on time, diligent, and very kind to our shy dogs. We would definitely recommend her to anyone!”

“Kathy is a great rover sitter! We were so pleased with her. She sent us pictures and updates with each visit. She even went the extra mile of dressing our dog up like Santa Claus and giving her a special bone. We are so pleased with how she treated our house and dog. We will recommend her to everyone! Thank you Kathy for being respectful of our home and our little doggy baby!”

About: As my daughters grew up, we have always owned pets. They have inspired me to get into pet sitting with how well I bond and connect with our animals. I’m experienced in medications, walks, love and attending to their needs. I can insure you that I will always take good care of your fur babies while you’re away! I am currently a single older woman between jobs, giving me flexibility, availability and I am reliable . I can stay in homes overnight if needed. I’m always willing to accommodate and will be happy to care for all your pet care needs, and would greatly appreciate the opportunity. As an opportunity to care for your animals I will always go by your instructions and routines. Exercise, playtime, and love is important. Your house will be left as is and will always be locked and secure.
About: We are Jeni and Ashlie- we have been loving dog parents who have experience caring for dogs for most of our lives. We have raised three rescue dogs together who aged from 10 to 14 years, with varying training and health needs. We are also experienced with sitting dogs for friends and family members, up to one month at a time. We are a family of 4 with two young kids who are not ready to commit to a dog of our own again, yet, and instead would like to spend time loving yours while you’re away! With us, your dog will be treated as one of our family members as long as they are with us. For in-home care, dogs must be friendly, well-behaved, potty trained, young children and family oriented. Well behaved means no digging, chewing or pottying in the home. While we have experience with territorial and reactive dogs, due to children in the home, there is a zero tolerance to aggressive behaviors towards children or people. We are experienced with dogs of all ages and sizes, and children will be monitored for positive interactions with dogs in our care. No cat care provided due to allergies. While we work full-time, we are lucky to work from home a few days per week. We also have a dog door if your pup is fully trustable with free roam in the backyard and house. Fenced yard - large yard; No other dogs in home, we have fish; Family environment; Dog door available, if appropriate; Can crate dog if preferred

About: I am a certified vet assistant, and have worked with many different braids and sizes of dogs who have different personalities. I can groom, cut nails and clean ears, sufficiently clean out kennels and monitor behavior and I just love making animals comfortable and feel happy! I am working a part-time job but will have plenty of time to make sure your animals get proper care. I am available weekends and weekdays after 2 PM. I do have a fenced backyard and four kitties and one dog that is friendly. I make sure the animals are played with in the day and get some love.
“Nicole is always very quick to respond, she takes many photos and videos which are always appreciated, and always goes above and beyond. She listens to instructions and even takes both the dogs on separate walks! I’ve booked her twice now and I come back to very content, tired dogs. I know I can always trust my boys in her care and will continue to use her in the future 😊”

“Karly was an awesome sitter for my cats Ghost and Pepper! Pepper has always hid and refused to eat when we had a new sitter and watching him (he’s a bit dramatic and skittish) but he warmed up to Karly quickly and was walking up to her for pets within days I almost couldn’t believe it! I came home to two happy and healthy cats after a 10 day vacation and I’m so grateful for the quality of care Karly gave my babies while I was gone. She was also very communicative, on time, and took lots of pics and videos of my babies so I had total peace of mind while gone. Anytime I need someone to watch my cats again Karly will be my first choice!”

I can’t say enough great things about Maia! She is the best cat sitter we have ever had. We faced an unexpected travel delay and Maia made sure our cats were all settled until we returned home. Our bengals are very energetic and she plays so well with them. She even brought them a new toy!! Maia is the best, we love her!

Lexie was beyond professional and took great care of our blind senior cat, Peanut! She was responsive/very easy to communicate with, flexible, and responsible. When we met her, it was really clear that Lexie knows animals (she was really tolerant of our two crazy dogs), and her post-visit summaries were really in-depth. She asked us all the right questions, including things we didn’t think of. Peanut was obviously well taken care of while we were gone. We swear our house was cleaner when we got back because of Lexie! Most importantly, Peanut seemed to really like Lexie during her visits and she was able to administer his medical eye drops (a feat that can be tricky even for us!). We absolutely plan to rebook with Lexie for Peanut.

Kathy looked after my two very shy kitties. She did a great job communicating with me during the time I was gone and sent regular pictures. I felt very comfortable knowing she was there for them. We do definitely recommend her if you are looking for a kind and caring friend for your loved pets.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
