I'm your local crazy cat lady.
Not only have I spent my entire life taking care of family pets, I spent over two years as an animal care technician at a free-roaming cat shelter. I specialized in the behavior and enrichment side of animal care. I've now been sitting on Rover for two years. And I have three cats of my own!

I ensure I have written instructions on how to care for your cat and ask about specific needs for your cat: feeding, light medication if necessary, litterbox, grooming, favorite toys and play schedules, etc. When first meeting your cat, I go at their pace and take care to learn their personality and behavior cues; my priority is safe handling and making sure your cat is comfortable and confident in my care.

Schedule
I work full time Monday through Friday from 7-4. Right now i am available to do evenings, weekends, and holidays. I have reliable transportation and can stay overnights.
- CatsKelly can host up to 1 drop-in per day
- Any special medical needs or behavioral issues are important for me to know. I am comfortable with light medication and I am comfortable working with particularly "spicy" or reactive cats. My experience with the cat training & behavior course and working on the behavior team at the shelter have taught me a lot about behavior modification and working with special cats. I also like to know their favorite treats and toys so I can make sure they get all the enrichment they need!
