“5 stars – Amazing care for my anxious pup! I booked Nicole to watch my dog Lyric on the 4th of July because my girl is absolutely terrified of fireworks. I didn’t want to leave her alone for even a few hours, and I’m so glad I found Nicole! She was incredibly responsive to Lyric’s special needs and gave her the calm, caring environment she needed. Nicole sent me the sweetest photos of Lyric playing—and even told me about her making out with another dog (she gives lots of kisses, she’s a bit of a flirt!). Lyric was so content she didn’t even want to leave when I arrived. In fact, the fireworks had her so spooked that Papa had to carry her to the van! I felt completely at ease knowing my baby girl was in such good hands. I’ll definitely be using Nicole again!”

About: I work in education and have summers (and holiday stretches) off. My dog recently passed away. He was a large / elderly / mobility-assisted / diapered / blind / medicated dog I had adopted almost 8 years ago. I had adopted a hospice dog in 2023 as well - she was a large breed with multiple cancers, so I am also familiar with that type of end of life care. I love dogs. I have used Rover often and now I would love the chance to use our empty home this summer to pet sit for others! I have an open summer! I work in education and have summers off. I do not have a schedule that I must adhere to. This is a flexible time for me. There are no other pets in our home. I know this is important for some to feel content with their pet being cared for, so this might fill a need that is harder to find!

About: I basically grew up in a zoo (the fun kind), and caring for animals has always been second nature to me. I graduated from an animal training program in my 20s, spent three years as a vet tech (I love exotics too), and now work as an RN, so your pets are in very attentive, capable hands. Over the past four years, I’ve fostered 50+ dogs, helping them feel safe, loved, and totally spoiled while they waited for their forever homes. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family. I follow their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, crate time, medication, and training cues. With my background in animal training and experience as a vet tech, I'm confident handling different temperaments, reinforcing positive behaviors, and monitoring for signs of stress or illness. On walks, I focus on structured, safe outings that are both enriching and fun. I use secure leashing, stay aware of surroundings, and tailor the pace to your dog's energy level and needs. (I'm also a runner if they enjoy that).

“We left our puppy Eila with Sam for daycare for 3 days and she did an incredible job! It was our first time leaving our puppy with someone else and she made sure to make us feel reassured and sent lots of photos throughout the day. By day 3, our puppy was running up to Sam’s door excited for her day with her! Her pug Stella is also so sweet and got along great with Eila. I would definitely trust her and recommend her!”

About: I would love to take care of your dog! I’ve been taking care of pets for years, including my rescue girl, Cactus. Big, small, old, young - I’m confident I can meet your pet’s needs. I run most days and love to hike, so can take your dog on adventures if they prefer. I’m also happy to cuddle on the couch if that’s more their vibe. I work from home full time, so I am flexible to hang out with your pet on the schedule that works best with both you and them. I live in a house with a backyard that has plenty of room for playing! My dog Cactus is three years old and is extremely friendly. She’s playful with dogs that are interested in playing but is very cognizant of leaving other dogs alone if they want to chill. I live with my partner who works from home full time.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs for 2 years. I currently take care of my neighbors, friends, and families pets. I’ll provide loving care for whatever your pet may need! I am a college student athlete, and I am currently training for my sport and taking summer classes! My schedule is pretty busy, but I am able to work around whatever to be with your animals! I am able to stay with your pets for however long you need. I can come in for drop in visits, or walks depending on what they need.

About: I have been an animal lover and caregiver for most of my life. From the time I was five years old, I was in a horse barn, caring for the horses. When I was a teenager and young adult, I was the barn manager and was responsible for the care of up to 17 horses at once. Once I went out on my own, I decided to get my sweet pup Evie, and have had her for almost eight years. This love of dogs led me to become a dogsitter and regularly cared for multiple clients before I moved out to Colorado. I work from home full time and take three long walks a day with my pup around our safe neighborhood. At the end of the workday, we take our evening walk and then play before dinner! After dinner, we snuggle up for cuddles on the couch! I live in a dog friendly apartment complex in a safe neighborhood. I make sure my space is very neat and tidy, with nothing on the floor that animals can potentially get into. I am home most of the time, and am able to monitor your pet's activity.
