“Micah took wonderful care of Momo. As an avid user of Rover, I can say that she is professional and went above and beyond for me and my dog. My dog suffers from separation anxiety, but she made sure he was comfortable during his Rover stay. She responds and communicates well. I work crazy hours and she was able to accommodate us when we had a last minute cancellation. Throughout my dog’s stay, she gave me updates and plenty of pictures. Her service is top notch!”

“Thank you so much for taking such good care of Sir Wayne and little Miss Yuki!!!! I can tell they were very much loved during their visit. They felt comfortable enough to give kisses and play! I’m just so grateful you were able to help and on such short notice. You guys are the best! And your dogs too were such good playmates for my fur balls of energy.”

“Jen, Jim, their daughter, and their pup all really went out of their way to make sure Harper had a great first day with them. Harper especially loved snuggling and exploring their incredible backyard. 10/10 recommend!”

“Teresa takes such good care of my fur baby, she’s like a second mama to her! Love the light and energy she puts out too, our conversations are always a joy. Skye comes home happy and tired every time too!”

“Felecia cares deeply for the animals she sees. She takes time to understand their needs and routines. High maintenance dogs or dogs that haven't been trained are not a deal breaker for her. I was very worried about bringing my dog over since he can be a handful, but Felecia was willing to take care of him. She gave me thorough feedback about his stay when I picked him up. Your dog is in good hands with her.”

“Brooke and Nathan were amazing. They watched Dante for longer because I was stuck driving in bad weather. Dante was fast asleep on the drive home which meant he had a big day of fun and playing. Thanks to Brooke and Nathan for taking such good care of him!”

About: As someone who works from home, I am able to give your pet as much attention as possible while you’re away! My dog is part of my family, and I always care for other pets the way I would hope others would care for mine. I am able to match my day to your dog’s needs, which means I’m always available to take them on walks, out to play, or for a potty break when they need it. I have a cozy home and a 2-year-old dog who loves making new friends. We also have an onsite dog area and that makes it easy to take dogs out for fresh air!
“Danielle loves our Kira almost as much as we do! She does a great job sending pics throughout the day and keeping us updated on all things Kira. She's very attentive and recognizes when Kira is nervous or shy with other dogs, and restricts play time to the dogs she is comfortable with. After Kira was bitten at a previous day care, this is super important to us. Danielle is fantastic!”

“Megan and Aaron took great care of Dutch and gave a full report on his day. It sounded like Dutch had a little separation anxiety since this was a first visit, but Aaron and Megan tried to make him feel reassured. Will definitely use again!”

“Our dog Max had a positive experience in Tiffany’s home. We could tell, because he was excited to head over to her house first thing in the morning, even after we were home from our trip. A doggy endorsement is the best kind! Tiffany was warm, professional, and a good communicator. We hope Max will be able to visit her for doggy day care again in the future.”

“Tasha was wonderful! She took great care of my dogs, Lexi and Dexter. I love that they have a huge back yard and two nice pets of their own. I would use her again and recommend her for anyone needing a place for a pet. Blessings!”

“My dog loves Annie! She is super reliable, flexible and prompt. She's great at responding to texts and updating with lots of pictures! I have a high energy blue heeler pup who is still finding her routine. Annie tires her out big time. At the beginning my dog was having a hard time adjusting to the change and had a few accidents at Annie's. Annie was super understanding and was willing to try different things to try and help her! Annie is the best!”

“Needed someone to watch my kitten for a few hours while I was at school. Kendra was really nice and accommodating and provided pictures, even during her short visit. Will book again! :)”
“Lindsay and Joshua were so caring to my Angel pup! She’s a big sweetheart that doesn’t like to be alone & the provided lots of care and love with her! They were quick to respond and flexible with the time adjustments. I appreciated that they took all the energy out of her in playing because that’s her favorite thing to do!! Will rebook again ! ☺️🙏🏼”

About: I recently had to say goodbye to my soul dog on 06/09/26. We found each other when I was working at the Longmont Humane Society in college, and I had the honor of spending the next 12 years with the best friend I’d ever know. Now I’d love the opportunity to open up my home to watch new dogs until I am ready to find my soul dog #2. I had my dog Dexter from his age of 4 to the old age of 16. So I have experience with all energy levels of dogs, as well as dogs that need medication and a little extra attention. I work from home, and work for myself so I have a very flexible and accommodating schedule. My previous routine with my dog was 2 walks a day, in the morning and evening. So it would be great to get those walks going again! I have a dog friendly house, with a small but functional backyard and small grassy front yard. I live 2 blocks from City Park, so always happy to go for a lap if that’s up to your dogs liking. Or if they are an around the block and back dog, we love that too. I’ll love your dog like my own. After loosing mine, it would be lovely to hear the pitter patter of a dog roaming around the house, sleeping, and even a little barking.

We loved our time with Nicole! We recently moved to Denver and it was our first time doing daycare. She was very reassuring, kept us updated as the day went on, and did so much to make our pups feel comfortable and at home. We’re so thankful that we found Nicole and can’t wait to come back!

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
