About: My whole life I have connected well with dogs. I currently own a golden retriever. I have volunteered at animal shelters and I have provided dog-sitting services on Rover in the past with a friend on her profile. I’m willing to accommodate any special requests that your pup may need. I am available most weekends and during the week. About: I've been around dogs all my life and rescued my first dog as soon as I graduated college. I finally saved up enough to buy a home so my dog could finally have the fenced-in yard of his dreams! I'm also taking a sabbatical from tech because I'm burnt out so not only will your dog have a big beautiful fenced-in yard to play in, they'll also have a full-time sitter as well! In addition to having a fenced-in yard, I will also take my dog out at least twice a day for a walk around my quiet neighborhood. I eat my breakfast and lunch in the yard and my dog usually accompanies me so we spend a lot of time outside ^_^. On the weekends, I usually have plans throughout the day, but I always ensure the dogs are tired and happy regardless of what I have going on. I very rarely leave my dog for more than 5 hours at a time, but I can easily accommodate your dog's needs as long as I have sufficient notice. I'm a homebody so I'm usually home regardless of whether it's a weekday or weekend. Being unemployed affords me lots of time to spend with our four legged friends and I'm not complaining lol. About: Growing up, dogs have always been a big part of my life. My family had our own dogs, and I also helped care for dogs belonging to family and friends of all shapes and sizes. I currently have a 2-year-old Border Collie/Cattle Dog mix, which has given me even more hands-on experience with training, exercise, and understanding different behaviors and personalities. About: I grew up with dogs, cats, birds, turtles, horses, goats, pigs, chickens, rabbits, and I even had a pet rat for a couple of years. I am available every day of the week for overnight stays at your home. I have found this is less stressful on animals when they can stay in their own familiar environment with all their own things. I also have the availability to do dog walking or cat check ins any day of the week. I will care for your pets exactly as you would. With good communication on pet behavior and expectations I can carry through with caring for them as you would.
