The way they greet you, where they feel safest, what makes them nervous, and what makes their tail wag are all little pieces of who they are. I love learning those details and creating a routine that helps pets feel comfortable while their people are away. I’m especially patient with shy, sensitive, and senior pets because I understand that trust is earned, not rushed. From caring for a senior cat with special needs, to helping a senior yellow lab through his later years, to rescuing my shy cat Darcy, I’ve seen how much patience and consistency can help an animal come out of their shell. I know how important your pets are to you, and I want you to have peace of mind knowing they are with someone who takes the time to notice the little things that make them unique. The way they ask for attention, the places they feel safest, the routines they love, and the little quirks that make them who they are. Pet care fits into my schedule as a flexible and consistent part of my week. I structure my availability around walks, drop in visits, and overnight care so I can be reliable and fully present when I’m with pets. I make sure I only take on bookings I can commit to, so each pet gets steady attention and care. I enjoy having time built around animals because it keeps my days active and meaningful. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping their environment calm, familiar, and consistent. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walk routines, medications, and any specific care preferences. I make sure pets always have fresh water, a clean space, and attention based on their needs and personality. I am mindful of safety at all times, including leashing for walks, securing doors, and maintaining a low stress environment. I am especially attentive to pets who are shy, anxious, or sensitive and allow them to interact at their own pace. I aim to respect their comfort level and keep changes to their routine as minimal as possible. My goal is to provide dependable, respectful care so pets feel secure and owners feel confident while they are away.

About: Hi! I'm Alex, I’ve been around dogs and cats my entire life and have cared for animals ever since I was a baby. I have experience with both senior dogs and senior cats, and I understand the extra patience, comfort, and attention they may need. I love creating fun new games and activities to keep pets happy, engaged, and mentally stimulated while they’re in my care. Above all, I have a genuine passion for working with animals and making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. My schedule is currently unavailable on Monday and Tuesday mornings. However, I have open availability on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, as well as full availability throughout the weekends. I’m flexible during those times and happy to work with different schedules to provide reliable, attentive pet care to you and your family When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent and comfortable as possible. I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of exercise and playtime, and receive lots of attention and companionship. I also enjoy creating fun activities and games to keep them mentally stimulated and happy. I’m respectful of each client’s home and follow any specific care instructions closely, especially for senior pets or animals with unique needs.

About: I have cared for dogs (my own and those of others) for many years, and have experience with many different breeds, including giant breeds. I've worked professionally as a dog sitter and walker in addition to caring for friends' dogs just for fun! I can provide endless walks and cuddles for your pup. I offer boarding and daycare in my home as long as your dog is friendly with my dog Zuko, an 8-year-old shepherd mix who is very chilled and friendly with others! We can introduce them first to make sure they are a good fit if you'd like. We love walking around the neighborhood and hanging out together in the yard. I also offer some basic training, so please let me know if there's anything you'd like me to work on with your pup! Can't wait to meet your furry friend! I work from home, giving me plenty of time to hang with your pup and go for walks, play with toys, or just chill on the couch! I have a fenced yard but will always keep an eye on your pup when they're outside. Please let me know how your dog is on a leash near other dogs so we can make sure walks are safe and rewarding. I will never leave your dog unattended for extended periods, and my dog Zuko will always be around to keep your dog company! I am happy to meet whatever exercise needs your dog may have, whether it's multiple long walks or runs daily, throwing a ball, or being a couch potato!

About: I've had pets of all kinds growing up and I understand the value of companionship. I provide unconditional love to all the pets who do the same. I currently have plenty of free time during the week to provide and care for pets and their many needs. I communicate effectively when I have other obligations and make sure pets are safe and secure no matter the time of day. I live in a safe a comfortable apartment complex that has plenty of grass and walking routes for pets of all shapes and sizes. The apartment is clean with minimal obstructions so pet's feel free to explore and find a cozy spot. I have no pets of my own, but enjoy the companionship of any fuzzy friend.
