Rover is my full-time job! I typically have daycare pickups in the morning around 8:30-9 a.m. and drop-ins in the afternoons from 12-1, but I am home quickly after. During these times, my mom is home, as she works from home, so your pup will never be alone 😊. Living with my mom, I ask that all drop-offs and pickups be after 8:30 a.m. and before 11 p.m. I always offer drop-off the night before or pickup from your house, for those who have work or flights to catch early. I try my best to be as accommodating as possible! I understand that life happens, and a flight may be late or a meeting may run long, so I am always happy to be flexible.

At my home, I have a fully fenced yard that has been tiny dog-proofed, lol. I also have a large fence outside my front door to prevent escape. I ensure I watch all dogs while they are eating and keep them a safe distance apart. For any dogs more possessive over their food, I am happy to feed them in a separate room! The dogs will be watched while playing or in the yard to ensure everyone plays nicely and participates in approved activities. If your dog experiences anxiety and has a special bed, tent, kennel, etc, you are most welcome to bring it so they feel comfortable and at home! At your home, I will take both typical precautions and any noted by you to watch for or prevent 😊.

Information Cj C. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know all your preferences regarding food, sleeping, playing, and any other concerns. - If your dog is food-aggressive, please inform me ahead of time so that I can have them eat separately. - Please write down any medications and instructions on how you typically give them (pill pockets, peanut butter) - I prefer a well-potty-trained dog (for the sanctity of the carpet, lol, but I understand puppies and senior dogs may have a few accidents). - I am open to any dog as long as they get along with other dogs! Note: Since this is my full-time job, I typically board 3 dogs and provide daycare for one dog, so it can be up to or less than 4 dogs in a day, in addition to my own. They can all be from the same family or separate homes. Doing this allows me to keep my boarding rates lower and maintain my income. If you would like your dog to be the only dog, please let me know in advance, and please know that the cost will increase to $65 to account for the lost revenue. (Does not apply if you have 3+ dogs)
A typical day
At home your dog can play other dogs or me in my backyard. I have various toys of every kind so your dog can find their favorite! If you feel your dog will need extra exercise, I am happy to take them for a walk! Your dog is also welcome to sit on the couch, my bed, or in a doggie bed and enjoy tv or rest. I am also open to any other ideas that you would like, to give your dog the best experience!

Pet care experience
I am CJ, and I have been working for Rover for 6 years! I live at home with my mom, and we own four small dogs! Our littlest dog, Peanut, is a 3lb teacup chihuahua, followed by a 9lb terrier, Piper, an 11 lb toy poodle, Prescott, and a 14 lb shipoo, Pistachio. I specialize in small dogs, but I love to work with all sizes! Three of my dogs are rescues, giving me personal and outside familiarity with dogs who have anxiety (separation and situational) and special needs, as well as administering oral medications. Additionally, I have lots of experience with both puppies and senior dogs! I aim to achieve the best experience for you and your dog! At my house, your dog can make new friends, play in the fenced backyard with a multitude of toys, or nap on the couch. In your home, I will treat it with the utmost respect and perform my job as expected. If you would like, I can also do extra tasks, like watering plants or grabbing the mail, while you are away. Outside of dogs, I love cats and small critters like guinea pigs! What stands out about me as a sitter is that I am driven by honesty and loyalty. I believe those two values are the foundation of all healthy relationships!

Cj is amazing - attentive, kind, clearly loves dogs. My little guy comes home happy after spending lots of time with his BFF’s (the 4-pawed ones). Thank you so much! Susie

Our experience with Cj was wonderful. We were very pleased with her professionalism and her care for our little loved one. Everyone is looking forward to the next overnight stay.
