“Kaitlyn was very communicative and went the extra mile while taking care of my cat. She was caring, attentive and treated my fur baby like one of her own while I was away”

“Alyssa took amazing care of our dog Zoe over the weekend! She was super communicative and thoughtful while we were gone and I could tell that Zoe had a great time.”

“Madeline was super pleasant and calm with my girl Zoey! She enjoyed long walks and seemed very happy upon my return from vacation her communication was amazing and always sent photos and updates while remaining very respectful! We will be using her again if she will have us!”

“This was the first time we needed to look for kitty care outside of our family so turned to Rover. We chose Rebecca based on her excellent reviews and experience with cats, and we are beyond thrilled with the exceptional care she provided our little Lucy while we were away! Her genuine love of animals is so apparent, as was Lucy’s affection toward her. From day one Lucy, who’s usually a bit timid at first, came right out to see her. We very much enjoyed all of Rebecca’s many daily pictures and detailed notes, allowing us to to have a much more relaxed vacation. Lucy, who is 18, occasionally needs eye medication, which Rebecca administered with ease. Thank you so much, Rebecca, and we’ll see you next time!!”

“Maddie was great with our cats and they looked happy and healthy when we returned home. They took such great care with our senior cat and made our trip so much better with regular check-ins. Would recommend 10 times over!”

“Summerlyn is attentive and detailed and very clearly a warm and lovely animal person!! Very understanding and flexible when needs change which was a huge relief for me. 10/10 would recommend!!”

“Kathy is a great rover sitter! We were so pleased with her. She sent us pictures and updates with each visit. She even went the extra mile of dressing our dog up like Santa Claus and giving her a special bone. We are so pleased with how she treated our house and dog. We will recommend her to everyone! Thank you Kathy for being respectful of our home and our little doggy baby!”

“Peyton was so awesome! She took excellent care of my puppy and was very punctual and responsive. I so appreciate all of her help and everything she did to make sure my pup was happy and healthy!!”

“We are repeat recipients of Colleen and Brian’s great care for our pets. Our big boy is Great Pyrenees that should weigh 100 but has been having issues eating. Colleen and Brian are great about catering to our special needs pup to get him to eat, even when we are out of town and he is in their care. Highly recommend and will use again many times in the future!!”

“Our puppy got into some hand warmers that we mistakenly left within his reach, and we weren't sure if he ingested them. Shannah responded quickly and offered to take him to our vet to have him checked out. Fortunately, he was fine but it was great having the peace of mind that he was well cared for”

About: I'm a college student looking to earn some extra income while doing something I enjoy: helping pets stay happy, comfortable, and well-cared for while their owners are away. I've grown up with pets my entire life and have experience caring for both dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I currently live with four cats, and growing up, I shared my home with multiple dogs and cats, including large breeds like Dobermans and English Mastiffs. I've also cared for senior pets with extra needs, such as special diets and bathroom requirements, which taught me the importance of patience and consistency. Outside of my own pets, I've provided dog sitting for two different households: one with a Golden Retriever and Goldendoodle, and another with a Husky mix and Shepherd mix. Every dog is different, and I enjoy getting to know each pet's routine, personality, and favorite activities. When I'm caring for your pet, my priority is making them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away. I'll stick closely to your routine, providing plenty of affection, walks, playtime, and enrichment. Whether your pet loves adventures, prefers quiet companionship, or just wants someone dependable to keep them company, I'd love the opportunity to help. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I'll do my best to make that decision an easy one! I attend midday in-person university classes on Mondays through Thursdays, and I work part-time on early weekend mornings. However, I'd love early morning weekday or evening drop-ins! My classes end at 2 pm most days, so that leaves plenty of time for me to help out with mealtimes, walks, or overnight business. With my own fur babies, comfort and safety are my two biggest priorities. I make sure food and water are fresh, lawns and litter boxes are clean, and there are a plethora of comfy beds, window loungers, and toys spread throughout the house. I understand that every pet has their own system, and I want to bring the care that's present in my home to yours.

I have a diabetic cat who I have help caring for with my fiancé. I am able to provide proper care with proper notice I provide enrichment for each animal according to their needs and desires. I follow requests and instructions diligently and I also pay attention to animal body language to ensure safe and pleasant interactions.

About: Providing safe, reliable, and loving care for dogs as if they were my own! Dogs have always been a part of my life whether it's through my immediate and/or extended family. I treat every dog with patience, kindness, and respect, following their routine carefully and providing regular updates to owners. My goal is to make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and well cared for. I work weekends (friday-sunday) so I have a lot of time on my hands to be available to assist in potty breaks, walks and playtime ! I first ensure the dogs' boundaries are respected. I am comfortable with introductions in order to gain trust (I've had to do this in the past for family members).
About: Please note the following when making a request: - If a drop-in visit will require your dog(s) to be taken out on a leash (not just let into your yard), my walk rate will apply - For walks and drop-ins, a 2 hr time range is required for each visit's arrival time I have had dogs and cats as pets from childhood, and have always been an all around animal lover. I used to work at PetSmart in the pet hotel. I worked there for a little over a year and it gave me a ton of valuable experience in caring for people's pets and facilitating friendly interactions between dogs. I currently work as a server Thursday-Saturday and am just looking for a side gig and would love to take care of people’s pets! I’m free Sunday-Wednesday and am available during the day as well as in the evenings. I am careful to never overbook clients to ensure that your pet is always given plenty of love and attention while you are away! I will always be careful to follow any instructions given by owners. Through my experience working with pets, I have become well-versed in dog behavior and am capable of noticing early signs of fear, aggression, and anxiety and know how to prevent these things from escalating.

Madeline was super pleasant and calm with my girl Zoey! She enjoyed long walks and seemed very happy upon my return from vacation her communication was amazing and always sent photos and updates while remaining very respectful! We will be using her again if she will have us!

Sadie was fantastic with our two labs. She was very communicative and took such good care of them. She was conscientious about keeping them off of hot pavement and it was clear that she loved on them. Thank you, Sadie, for taking such great care of our babies!

Nicole was absolutely fantastic with my two dogs (a 4-year-old Puggle and a 5-year-old German Shepherd) while we were away for five nights. It was such a relief to enjoy our trip knowing they were in such great hands. She went above and beyond with walks, feedings, and plenty of affection. She also kept me updated with wonderful photos throughout the stay—the dogs seemed so happy and relaxed that I joked they almost didn't want me to come home! I highly recommend Nicole to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and attentive sitter.

Robin stepped in for us when our usual Rover was out of town. She was communicative, came over for a meet and greet, and was happy to take care of our somewhat complicated crew. During her check-in, our senior pup had a medical emergency and Robin had no hesitation to spend extra time with her and take her to the emergency vet. We will absolutely use Robin again in the future!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
