I have 7+ years of work & volunteer experience caring for dogs, cats, and other pets at animal shelters! I have cared for my dog and 2 cats over the last 6 years, as well as various dogs and cats growing up, and small animals and reptiles! I have vast experience with medical, behavioral, and socialization needs! I have experience with training dogs (clicker training, positive reinforcement training only, house training, leash walking, crate training, basic obedience, and socialization), through work, with my own dog, as well as foster dogs and puppies. I also have experience with clicker training for cats! I’m currently waiting on getting my professional dog training certification in the Spring :) I have experience with a variety of medical needs: senior care, diabetic care, administering medications (both oral and injectable), giving subcutaneous fluids, monitoring vitals, first aid, etc. I have experience with many behavioral needs, as well, including under-socialization, fear, fear-based aggression, resource/food guarding, stranger danger, barrier reactivity, animal reactivity, separation and general anxiety, and high arousal/high energy behaviors. I have cared for dogs of every size ranging from chihuahuas to great danes! I also love cats! I have fostered or cared for many medical and behavioral kitties while working at animal shelters, as well as owning two cats with medical needs! Karington is perfect. She was available on short notice within hours and at a more than reasonable rate. She was thorough, loving, and attentive. She took plenty of photos and provided a detailed check in report each visit. Trusting someone with your kiddos can be a challenge, but with Karington it’s a breeze and I absolutely recommend her.
Karington was amazing! She was very responsive and kept us updated on everything going on, she even sent lots of photos which I really appreciated. She took great care of our dog and cat who needed lots of love. Highly recommend

Zeitplan
Currently I work PRN for a clinic, which leaves me plenty of time and availability for just about any pet care needs :) I love working with animals with behavioral and medical needs that need a little extra help finding their forever home at previous jobs :) I adore taking care of my own pets, they are the light of my life!
