“Stephanie took great care of our three cats! She sent tons of pictures and our shy guy completely warmed up to her. I would highly recommend booking Stephanie for all your cat sitting needs!”
“Morgan is everything you want in anyone who looks after your pet- dependable, observant, communicative. She lets you know what pet owners want to know about the visit. I have a young puppy with many needs, but Morgan gives me great peace with her drop in visits.”

“Enecia was amazing, she took perfect care of our cats and even gave the plants some love! Highly recommend, and will definitely reach out for future needs. Thanks!”

“Regina was an excellent companion and caregiver for our two dogs over a recent couple of days we needed her. Dogs were well cared for and loved in our absence with always timely drop in visits for meals, breaks and walks! Will look to Regina again whenever needed and know we can rest assured with happy dogs.”

“Lindsey has been wonderful with her visits and playtime with our cat. She’s terrific with communications and pictures. You can tell she truly cares about animals. I’m grateful for her and will definitely contact her again for sitting when needed. Thanks, Lindsey!!!”

“CJ was wonderful with my dogs, Charlie and Fran! She was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared about making sure they were comfortable and well taken care of during each visit. I always appreciated the updates and photos, which made it easy to know they were in good hands. Charlie and Fran both seemed very happy and relaxed after their time with her. I’d absolutely recommend CJ to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive sitter!”

“Kirstin was a great sitter for my two (slightly neurotic) cats! She was consistent with her timing and followed the care instructions well. She let me know if she saw any unusual behavior from my cats or things around the house that may need my attention when I got home. She also made sure to spend time and play with them. I was away for almost 2.5 weeks so it made me much more relaxed knowing a knowledgeable and caring sitter was looking after my boys! Thanks Kirstin!”

“Chelsea did a wonderful job checking in on my 2 boys at a consistent time all week! They are both pretty skittish but warmed up to her quite a bit. I really appreciated her thorough updates and pictures while I was gone - I would definitely book Chelsea again in the future!”

About: I grew up with dogs, cats, birds, turtles, horses, goats, pigs, chickens, rabbits, and I even had a pet rat for a couple of years. I love animals and getting to know their unique personalities. After my dog died of old age, I found it too hard to think about getting another dog. Now years later I have found that I really miss having animals but because I am a digital nomad, I don’t want to get one of my own. I joined Rover so I could help other people with their pets while they need to travel and so I could get to spend time with animals while not having one of my own. Over the years since losing my dog I have spent a lot of time volunteering at animal shelters. I found it was a great way for me to give back while also being able to get my love and cuddles from adorable animals. I work full time remotely as a Controller. Due to the remote nature of my job, I can be at home almost 24/7 if needed. This allows me to spend plenty of time with any animal or animals I am watching. I am available every day of the week for overnight stays at your home. I have found this is less stressful on animals when they can stay in their own familiar environment with all their own things. I also have the availability to do dog walking or cat check ins any day of the week. I will care for your pets exactly as you would. With good communication on pet behavior and expectations I can carry through with caring for them as you would.
“As always, Jenn is the best!! She always makes us feel so comfortable knowing our ladies are well taken care of while we’re away. 10/10 for Jenn, thanks again!!”

“Brittany is great! I have a young puppy that is still being trained and is used to being walked solely by me. My puppy is very comfortable with Brittany and Brittany has done a great job walking her in the pouring rain or shine! No easy task with a new puppy! I received constant communication and pics which is great as a nervous new dog owner!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Cherry Hills Village
Emma is a great dog sitter! She went above and beyond with our dog, Cleo, who is anxious when meeting new people. Emma made the extra effort to meet Cleo before the first drop in visit, and was patient with her until Cleo calmed down. By her 2nd visit it was clear that Cleo was comfortable with her new friend! We are grateful for Emma’s care!

Grace was fantastic! She always stayed the full expected visit time, fed/watered, even played with and cuddled our kitty. I was able to relax on my trip knowing we had reliable care for Wilson. I will definitely reach out to Grace to care for him again in the future. Thank you, Grace!

Lena was great checking in on our cat Daisy and keeping her routine as normal as possible. Lena was quick to respond to messages and easy to talk with in person. She followed every instruction perfectly and even took care of the dish after feeding. We will definitely look to hire Lena for our future pet needs.

Our 2nd time booking Kurtis to watch both our pups. My frenchie Leo had some unexpected medicine that I needed to add to his routine last minute and Kurtis made sure to follow the instructions well. I definitely had a better vacation knowing my pups were in good hands. Will book Kurtis again for sure! 👍🏻

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
