About: Born into an animal loving family, I’ve had cats, ferrets, and currently have two big handsome dogs! Experienced with all stages of life my boys are Monty (Great Pyrenees -1.5 years old) and Jaxson is my old man (collie mix -15 years old). I’m a corporate dog mom of two boys with some extra time on the weekends! My scheduled availability is week nights, weekends, and holidays. I have a 6ft tall fenced yard with cameras to keep everyone safe. I can also keep animals separated via my basement or even crate your fur baby if needed.
About: I grew up with dogs, cats, birds, turtles, horses, goats, pigs, chickens, rabbits, and I even had a pet rat for a couple of years. I love animals and getting to know their unique personalities. After my dog died of old age, I found it too hard to think about getting another dog. Now years later I have found that I really miss having animals but because I am a digital nomad, I don’t want to get one of my own. I joined Rover so I could help other people with their pets while they need to travel and so I could get to spend time with animals while not having one of my own. Over the years since losing my dog I have spent a lot of time volunteering at animal shelters. I found it was a great way for me to give back while also being able to get my love and cuddles from adorable animals. I work full time remotely as a Controller. Due to the remote nature of my job, I can be at home almost 24/7 if needed. This allows me to spend plenty of time with any animal or animals I am watching. I am available every day of the week for overnight stays at your home. I have found this is less stressful on animals when they can stay in their own familiar environment with all their own things. I also have the availability to do dog walking or cat check ins any day of the week. I will care for your pets exactly as you would. With good communication on pet behavior and expectations I can carry through with caring for them as you would.

Puppies, kittens, seniors, disabled - all animals need the loving care that I enjoy providing. I am fully retired which allows me to spend quality time with many animals - dogs, cats, even horses. I'm very flexible with hours and number of days needed for care. I'm also handy around the house and can run any errands that might be needed. My current care is for two adorable dogs that just lost their third mate to an incurable neurological condition. The two needed time and additional love to recover and adjust to the new dynamic. They are thriving and the little one has assumed the new alpha role, so cute! Twice a day walks, special senior diets, so much floor and cuddle time, regular hygiene and grooming (one is a huge shedder) allow exceptional happiness for canine and human.

Emma is a great dog sitter! She went above and beyond with our dog, Cleo, who is anxious when meeting new people. Emma made the extra effort to meet Cleo before the first drop in visit, and was patient with her until Cleo calmed down. By her 2nd visit it was clear that Cleo was comfortable with her new friend! Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
