“Hannah was great! I was able to book her last minute for a weekend while I was out of town. She came over to meet Nadia asap and sent lots of photos & updates while I was away! Highly recommend! 😊”

“Ronald is absolutely exemplary! Although during our initial meet and greet I let him know it was unlikely he would see the cats-o-mine since they're not big into strangers, he STILL took it upon himself to spend 25-30 minutes during each visit. Very professional, punctual, and followed instructions on-point. I would recommend again and again!”

“Maggie was great. She communicated well, sent photos, and kept to the schedule. She stopped in twice per day to clean litter boxes, feed the cats, provide fresh water, and play. Maggie even put treats in a food puzzle to keep the cats entertained long after she left. Maggie is fantastic to work with and we highly recommend her.”

“Lauren has been absolutely AMAZING! She sent detailed reports every visit with pictures and everything! We even forgot to feed our fish and she happily did that for us! This was our first experience with Rover and we were a bit nervous about having someone we don’t know in our home, but I’m so glad we did and chose Lauren! She’s trustable, kind, and LOVES our pups! We will definitely recommend her to everyone and are so happy we found someone to watch our pups!!! ♥️”
“Victoria was very accommodating to my dog’s need. She was willing to do a meet and greet prior to a formal booking. She was very understanding with my concerns. My dog warmed up to her really fast. Victoria was also very sweet with my dog and her comfortability with handling my large dog was very apparent. I feel comfortable booking her in the future.”

“Victoria is the absolute best. She’s communicative and always responds if there are needs. She has watched my cats multiple times now and will take great care of your animals!”

“Sam and Nicole are awesome! They took care of our girl in the middle of a long day. We could tell it was a great walk because she was happy and relaxed when we got home!”

About: I’ve been an animal lover my whole life and grew up with a cat, so caring for pets has always come naturally to me. Over the years, I’ve gained experience dog sitting a variety of breeds, including high-energy Australian Shepherds as well as many other types of dogs with different needs and personalities. I’ve also spent time as a foster dog mom, caring for dogs ranging from small Chihuahuas to large Great Pyrenees. My schedule is 100% flexible so I can easily adapt to the needs of your pet! My schedule allows me to be consistent with feeding times, walks, and check-ins throughout the day. I focus on keeping each pet’s routine as consistent and stress-free as possible, whether I’m caring for them in my home or theirs. In a client’s home, I make sure to follow all instructions closely - feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications if needed - and keep their environment calm and familiar. I’m very respectful of your space and aim to maintain your pet’s normal routine so they feel comfortable while you’re away.

“Regan did an amazing job caring for my animals! When a potential vet emergency came up (through no fault of hers), she went above and beyond to make sure my pets were safe and well taken care of. I’m so grateful for her dedication and wouldn’t hesitate to trust her again.”

“Thank you so much for taking care of my babies! They clearly felt comfortable with you (as much as cats do with anyone). It’s awesome knowing I can leave confident that my babies are in good hands with you.”

“Patty is wonderful! She has come to take care of our 9-year-old cat a few times now and he absolutely loves her! She is always sure to give him plenty love and care and send us plenty of updates while we were away. Patty is very reliable and responsive. We will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Ashley arrived right on time for each of her visits and sent photos after, so we were able to enjoy our trip with total peace of mind. Our pets were relaxed and happy when we returned. Excellent service; we will book with Ashley again!”

Allysha went above and beyond on a last minute drop in visit to check in on our kitties after an emergency left them alone for a few days. She was flexible and responded quickly. She took care of the animals and home as if it were her own, even cleaning up a few messes and letting us know our stove light was on. She left a thorough and detailed report and sent lots of photos to ensure our peace of mind. Couldn’t have asked for a better drop in sitter. Would 100% trust her with your animals and home!

Maggie was great. She communicated well, sent photos, and kept to the schedule. She stopped in twice per day to clean litter boxes, feed the cats, provide fresh water, and play. Maggie even put treats in a food puzzle to keep the cats entertained long after she left. Maggie is fantastic to work with and we highly recommend her.

Gregory was very responsive and had great communication starting from the beginning of meeting our dog and through the end of the drop in visits for the weekend! Our dog Lola was in a perfectly fine mood upon our return - would definitely recommend for dog care and will definitely be booking in the future if needed! Thanks, Gregory!

Serena is an absolute gem! She’s incredibly communicative, friendly, and caring. She went above and beyond to understand how to care for my dogs. Not only did she ensure that my dogs were well taken care of, but she also took the time to make sure that my house was in top condition. I highly recommend Serena to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter. You won’t regret booking her!
Brianna was an amazing sitter, while we went on vacation in Hawai’i she came and checked on my fur babies, she even helped with one of puppers escaping. She went above and beyond and ensured my packages were brought in the house without me asking, will definitely use her again.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
