About: I have cared for dogs all my life. Growing up we fostered many pups and cats. I have had many elderly pets and have experience with distributing medication. Your pet will always be the center of my attention! If you are a repeat customer and my calendar is blocked, text me! I can make acceptions for you as a thank you for loyalty! I can provide baths upon request! I also love to walk pups and get them plenty of exercise! I work from home most days. On days I am required to be in the office I have a lot of flexibility with my schedule I always strive to create a safe and trusting environment for pets, such as ensuring hazardous materials or cleaning products are stored and out of your pets reach. Iam always diligent about following pet parent instructions.
“Maggie was so wonderful ❤️ She took extra special care of our two precious kit kats 🐈⬛️🐈⬛️ Any time she had any questions or concerns she reached out promptly which was reassuring to know that our babies were getting what they needed. She was also really flexible and accommodating to our schedule when it came to meet and greet and pickup/drop-off of keys 🔑 We cant wait to book with her again 😍”

“I was nervous about having a new pet sitter after one I used for years retired. However, services were performed as described by Rover. I specially appreciate the daily report and photos. Rachel took good care of my skittish cat, Lily, and I have already booked with her for my next trip away!”

“Sophia is super great! Cheddar absolutely adores her and she genuinely cares and takes the time to spend with him. I feel so comfortable knowing that he has her care and affection!”

“Victoria is amazing! She helped us so much by giving us peace of mind so we could enjoy our vacation. She was very professional and communicated with us when needed, and it was clear our pets were well cared for. I will always trust Victoria to care for our pets.”

“Thank you for taking care of my fur babies. It was my very first time using rover and she did a great job!! I feel more at ease and will continue using her services!”

About: I’ve had dogs since I was 9 years old. I grew up with boxers and australian shepherds, but have cared for labs, goldens, pit mixes, and a husky! I trained my rescue husky and managed to help her become a well behaved member of the family. I enjoy walks just as much as the dogs do, and I love to spoil the dogs I care for. I work remote 3 days a week and in-office 2 days a week. I live across the street from my work and have ample time to go home every 3-4 hours to walk/play with your dog! For walks/potty breaks/social visits, I have a lot of flexibility on the days where I work from home. I’m an early riser and love to get a walk in before my day starts. I’m happy to prepare meals in the kitchen if your dog has any special dietary needs (or if you like to feed them whole foods).

“5 star pet sitter, a professional in every way. I completely agree with another review, Ronald deserves generous tips as he goes above and beyond. My high energy, sweet pups were as happy when we got back as if we were gone one day vs a week. Thank you Ronald!”

“Mrs Charlie was amazing with our two dogs. Took them to a dog park for them to stretch their legs and soo many pictures. Also went above and beyond along with taking care of them!”

“Olivia is amazing! She was reliable and easy to communicate with. She sent so many pictures of our little kitty while we were on vacation....and really good pics too. A couple days it stopped my daughter's tears from falling. When she was missing her kitten back home, I just showed her the super cute pictures that Olivia had taken with him cuddling and playing. Worked like a charm! Our cat, Kiwi, truly loves and trusts Olivia. Already rebooking!”

“Allysha went above and beyond on a last minute drop in visit to check in on our kitties after an emergency left them alone for a few days. She was flexible and responded quickly. She took care of the animals and home as if it were her own, even cleaning up a few messes and letting us know our stove light was on. She left a thorough and detailed report and sent lots of photos to ensure our peace of mind. Couldn’t have asked for a better drop in sitter. Would 100% trust her with your animals and home!”

“Sarah was very kind and good with my shy kitty. Its not often he comes out for pets with new people but he seemed to love Sarah! I highly recommend.”

“Lauren has been absolutely AMAZING! She sent detailed reports every visit with pictures and everything! We even forgot to feed our fish and she happily did that for us! This was our first experience with Rover and we were a bit nervous about having someone we don’t know in our home, but I’m so glad we did and chose Lauren! She’s trustable, kind, and LOVES our pups! We will definitely recommend her to everyone and are so happy we found someone to watch our pups!!! ♥️”
“Thank you so much for taking care of my babies! They clearly felt comfortable with you (as much as cats do with anyone). It’s awesome knowing I can leave confident that my babies are in good hands with you.”

“Regan did an amazing job caring for my animals! When a potential vet emergency came up (through no fault of hers), she went above and beyond to make sure my pets were safe and well taken care of. I’m so grateful for her dedication and wouldn’t hesitate to trust her again.”

About: Growing up my grandparents always had several house and barn cats that I helped care for. As an adult, I have had my own cat for nearly 5 years. I work from home so I have plenty of flexible time to drop in to visit and care for your cat. If your cat gets lonely, I can bring work with me and hang out for a bit to give them extra attention and company. I will care for your cat in your home with the love and attention you would provide yourself. Friendly, shy or spicy kitties - I can adapt to any personality!
“Renee communicated so well with us, letting us know how our cat was doing, when food and water were refreshed and offered. She helped with the litter too (& making sure it looked ok).”

“Brenna did an amazing job taking care of our girl Winnie for our first trip away. She communicated well and kept us updated on Winnie and sent lots of pictures. Winnie was very happy when we came back and was clearly well cared for. I would recommend her to my friends and other pet parents.”

“Thomas is THE MAN. Great dog sitter, trainer and awesome person, my GSD puppy Groot got taken care of. Groot is a happier dog when I come home. Thomas provided photos and a video of Groot. Straight up awesome. Definitely recommend Thomas to anyone, you won’t be disappointed.”

Sophia did a drop-in visit to check in on our two cats while we were away for the weekend. She was communicative, punctual, and friendly. She even spent extra time comforting our cat Ariel since it was thundering and she’s afraid of storms. Would happily ask Sophia back to watch our cats in the future!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
