I truly understand what it takes to love and care for dogs at every phase of life. In addition to years of hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities, I grew up participating in 4-H where I raised and cared for a wide variety of animals. Because of that, I’m comfortable working with many different species including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, reptiles, and more. Being surrounded by animals from a young age taught me responsibility, patience, and how to tune into each animal’s unique needs. I have experience with everything from energetic puppies to senior dogs and end-of-life care, and I approach every pet with the same level of compassion and attentiveness. I’m confident in puppy training, crate training, leash manners, basic obedience, administering medications, grooming basics, and creating a calm, safe environment where pets feel secure and loved. I treat every dog like family and make it my goal to ensure they feel completely at home while you’re away, with plenty of care, consistency, and of course, the best snuggles. I am especially experienced in boarding dachshunds and other small dogs, and I am very cognizant about caring for special needs, such as medical needs or preventing injuries.
