Pet care experience

Near DIA ✈️ Cozy care & walks 🐾

Minutes from DIA, perfect for easy drop-off before trips! Offering calm, loving boarding for small dogs, plus weekend walks and drop-ins. 🐾 I have cared for dogs my entire life, and I raised my own mini dachshund, Ollie, from the puppy stage! I truly understand what it takes to love and care for dogs at every phase of life. In addition to years of hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities, I grew up participating in 4-H where I raised and cared for a wide variety of animals. Because of that, I’m comfortable working with many different species including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, reptiles, and more. Being surrounded by animals from a young age taught me responsibility, patience, and how to tune into each animal’s unique needs. I have experience with everything from energetic puppies to senior dogs and end-of-life care, and I approach every pet with the same level of compassion and attentiveness. I’m confident in puppy training, crate training, leash manners, basic obedience, administering medications, grooming basics, and creating a calm, safe environment where pets feel secure and loved. I treat every dog like family and make it my goal to ensure they feel completely at home while you’re away, with plenty of care, consistency, and of course, the best snuggles. I am especially experienced in boarding dachshunds and other small dogs, and I am very cognizant about caring for special needs, such as medical needs or preventing injuries.

Maggie was so wonderful ❤️ She took extra special care of our two precious kit kats 🐈‍⬛️🐈‍⬛️ Any time she had any questions or concerns she reached out promptly which was reassuring to know that our babies were getting what they needed. She was also really flexible and accommodating to our schedule when it came to meet and greet and pickup/drop-off of keys 🔑 We cant wait to book with her again 😍

Maggie was great. She communicated well, sent photos, and kept to the schedule. She stopped in twice per day to clean litter boxes, feed the cats, provide fresh water, and play. Maggie even put treats in a food puzzle to keep the cats entertained long after she left. Maggie is fantastic to work with and we highly recommend her.

Doggy Day Care • Jun 23, 2026

Maggie was wonderful with Parker! She was so flexible, kind, and easy to communicate with. Parker had such a great time spending the day with her and Ollie while I was away. I also really appreciated that Maggie kept me updated with plenty of photos and videos throughout the day, which gave me so much peace of mind. I would absolutely recommend!

Schedule

I’m a PA student with a consistent but flexible schedule that allows me to give pets lots of attention and care without rushing. I’m currently on Summer break and available for walks and drop-ins on Monday and Tuesday afternoons, Wednesday and Thursday evenings, and all day Fridays. Send me a request for more specific times, and I am usually able to accommodate! I offer boarding for small dogs in my home and have much more open availability for boarding, so I’m often able to accommodate vacations and longer stays. I always try to keep a calm, safe environment and am happy to follow your pet’s routine, energy level, and any special needs to make sure they feel comfortable while you’re away.

Safety, trust & environment

Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my #1 priorities. My home is calm, clean, and well-suited for small dogs, with a fully fenced patio with turf for potty breaks and a large walking path around a nearby pond for daily walks and fresh air. My home is also set up with baby gates and ramps (fully dachshund-proofed) to keep dogs of all shapes and sizes safe! Dogs in my care are always supervised, and I’m intentional about keeping playtime positive and stress-free. I’m careful about dog introductions and make sure every pup has space to relax, nap, and decompress. As a future PA, I’m detail-oriented, responsible, and attentive, including with medications, routines, and monitoring for any changes. My goal is for you to feel completely confident that your dog is safe, happy, and truly cared for while you’re away. ❤️

Pets

A typical day

A typical day with me is the perfect mix of fun, structure, and cozy downtime. For boarding, pups enjoy supervised playtime, outdoor breaks, and walks based on their energy level, along with plenty of time to relax and recharge. If it's a good fit, your pup will get plenty of playtime with my mini dachshund, Ollie, who loves making new friends! :) For walks and drop-ins, I stick closely to your pet’s normal routine, whether that means a walk, playtime, feeding, medications, or just some extra love and company. Some days are active and adventure-filled, and other days are calm and cozy, watching movies and snuggling, depending on what your pet needs most. No matter the service, every pet is treated like family!
